Good day all. Never let it be said that the Progressive will let people think for themselves, or the progressives in Education letting parents have any actual say in the education of their children. The Dementia Joe Education Department has decided that banning mask mandates is a civil right violation.<\/p>\n

One of the things the Ruling Elites decided was a \u201cGood things\u201d was forcing people to wear masks. The thinking, such as it was, was that the masks would help stop the spread of the Wuhan Flu virus. Of course, anyone with any common sense, (Which lets out Liberals), knows that a paper or cloth mask is going to do bupkis to stop a virus from entering someone\u2019s respiratory system. Still, it was a way to initiate more control over the population.<\/p>\n

Now people know that masks don\u2019t do diddlysquat when it comes to stopping a virus. It\u2019s about as effective as a chain link fence is at stopping a mosquito. Many governors and state legislatures, realizing that forcing children to wear masks was actually harmful, started banning the mandating of the wearing of masks. (You could if you wanted to. No one was telling you you couldn\u2019t)<\/p>\n

This set off both the Teachers unions and many of the local school boards and city governments. They wanted to force people to keep wearing masks, especially children. What the parents wanted didn\u2019t matter. Now the Department of Education has decided to \u201cInvestigate\u201d the orders preventing the forced masking of children as a \u201cCivil Rights matter.\u201d Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

The U.S. Department of Education<\/a> is opening an investigation into whether prohibitions on indoor masking<\/a> mandates constitute discrimination against kids with disabilities. <\/b><\/p>\n

Announced on Monday, the move comes as multiple states have challenged masking in schools. The department’s Office of Civil Rights (OCR) is focusing on five states \u2013 \u00a0Iowa,\u00a0Oklahoma,\u00a0South Carolina,\u00a0Tennessee and\u00a0Utah.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

“The Department has heard from parents from across the country \u2013 particularly parents of students with disabilities and with underlying medical conditions \u2013 about how state bans on universal indoor masking are putting their children at risk and preventing them from accessing in-person learning equally,” U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona said in a press release. <\/b><\/p>\n

As I said before, if parents and\/or their children want to wear masks, no one is stopping them, but then, this isn\u2019t about health. It\u2019s about power and who controls your children. Of course, that\u2019s not what the Communazis are going to say.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s simply unacceptable that state leaders are putting politics over the health and education of the students they took an oath to serve. The Department will fight to protect every student\u2019s right to access in-person learning safely and the rights of local educators to put in place policies that allow all students to return to the classroom full-time in-person safely this fall.” <\/b><\/p>\n

This is not about safety, it\u2019s about power. The Progressives currently running the Education Department want to assert totalitarian control over all aspects of the education system. They have little to no interest in actually teaching children, they want to indoctrinate them.<\/p>\n

One of the positive things the Great Panicdemic of 2020 did was to let parents see just what was actually being \u201cTaught\u201d to their children. They were not happy and they have been tearing the school boards a new one. I anticipate a major turnover when the next local elections occur and a lot of these board members are going to be shown the door. In the mean time, state governments are going after the Blue Cities that are ignoring the state orders that there will be no mandates.<\/p>\n

Last week, Missouri’s attorney general filed a class action lawsuit against <\/b>school<\/b><\/u><\/a> districts that have instituted “arbitrary and capricious” <\/b>COVID-19<\/b><\/u><\/a> mask mandates.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

“Forcing schoolchildren to mask all day in school flies in the face of science, especially given children\u2019s low risk of severe illness and death and their low risk of transmission,”\u00a0Attorney General Eric Schmitt said in a statement. “Additionally, forcing schoolchildren to mask all day could hinder critical development by eliminating facial cues and expressions.” <\/b><\/p>\n

Like everyone else, I was forced to wear a mask if I wanted to go to the store and buy things like food. You flat out didn\u2019t have an option. I hated the damn things and I had trouble breathing with them on. I had issues with CO2 buildup, not to mention the constant fogging of my glasses. I was constantly lifting the mask away so I could get some air.<\/p>\n

For children, forcing them to wear masks all day is tantamount to child abuse. There is plenty of information out there that children do not, in general, have any real issues with the Wuhan flu. Yes, they catch it, but they also tend to throw it off very quickly. Wearing a mask for 8+ hours a day, especially when they are outside and running around is restricting their ability to breathe.<\/p>\n

As far as I\u2019m concerned, if these federal idiots come in and try to force children to wear masks, they should be arrested and prosecuted for child endangerment and child abuse. If it\u2019s the DOJ pushing the cases, then an indictment of Merrick Garland, the Attorney General on those same charges should be done and arrest warrant issued. Let\u2019s see how they handle that!<\/p>\n
