Now the Progressive \u201cCommentators\u201d are screaming that his refusal to bend to their will is \u201cThe end of Democracy!\u201d Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Some liberal media commentators predicted Sunday that West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin\u2019s vote against President Biden\u2019s Build Back Better plan could very well spell the end of democracy. <\/b><\/p>\n Over the weekend, Senator Manchin announced that he couldn\u2019t support the \u201cBuild Back Better<\/i><\/span> Broke spending bill. The main reason being that it would be an economic disaster. One of the details not covered by the Communazi Propaganda Corps was the complete shutdown of ALL offshore oil production. Basically, all the rigs would have to close down. That would have been a gift to OPEC and the Russians at the expense of the American People.<\/p>\n “I\u2019ve always said this, Bret: if I can\u2019t go home and explain to the people of West Virginia, I can\u2019t vote for it,” Manchin told guest host Bret Baier. “And I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation. I just can\u2019t. I\u2019ve tried everything humanly possible. I can\u2019t get there.”<\/b><\/p>\n It helps that the overwhelming majority of voters in West Virginia flat out rejected the Build Back Broke plan and despise President Bumbles Dementia. Frankly, that it took Manchin this long to say no doesn\u2019t say much about his listening to his constituents.<\/p>\n Liberal media and progressive politicians immediately attacked Manchin for his position, including his colleague Sen. Bernie Sanders<\/a>, I-Vt., who accused Manchin of being beholden to pharmaceutical companies. Others called the decision “devastating,” while ABC\u2019s “This Week” panel showed visual disappointment at the news. <\/b><\/p>\n However, there were also several consistent predictions that Manchin\u2019s decision could herald the end of democracy as they knew it. <\/b><\/p>\n Considering that the Democratic Communazis ideas on what democracy actually is, this isn\u2019t surprising. However, it should be rather entertaining.<\/p>\n MSNBC\u2019s Mehdi Hasan tweeted out “What\u2019s worse – that Manchin is killing the Biden legislative agenda, and perhaps the future of American democracy too, or that he wasted most of this year dragging this whole thing out to do it *and* wasted half of the time that Dems control Congress and the White House.”<\/b><\/p>\n Killing the Meat Puppet\u2019s agenda? That sounds like a great idea to me! As for Democracy, well, there are a few things to consider. The United States isn\u2019t a democracy to begin with, we\u2019re a Republic. Manchin represents the people of the state of West Virginia and other than the idiots running the Miners Union, they don\u2019t want that load of manure that is laughingly titles \u201cBuild Back better.\u201d However, please continue with your flaming Progressive idiocies.<\/p>\n In a largely mocked tweet, The Washington Post\u2019s Jennifer Rubin wrote “If Manchin is no on both BBB and voting, Biden is done. Democracy is hanging by a thread. Hard to think of anyone more destructive.”<\/b><\/p>\n In an appearance on CNN\u2019s “Reliable Sources” journalist Carl Bernstein also implied that Manchin\u2019s vote could drastically affect American democracy in his refusal to eliminate the filibuster rule in the Senate. <\/b><\/p>\n “And this also goes into the question of voting rights because unless there\u2019s something that can be done about the filibuster rule in the Senate which Manchin again has indicated he will not change, there is not going to be an effective legislative means of doing what needs to be done to guarantee American democracy through the right to vote for all Americans without being suppressed as we\u2019re seeing now,” Bernstein said. <\/b><\/p>\n It just goes on and on and on. The stupidity and delusions of the left is a sight to behold. Basically, they are throwing a collective(ist) temper tantrum because they didn\u2019t get to institute a soviet style command economy and completely trash the economic well being of all those evil, corrupt, racist deplorable Trump people.<\/p>\n They fail to understand that in a Republic, the rights of the minority are protected, and that the majority doesn\u2019t always get what they want.
