The removal occurred last month and was brought about by a pattern of bad behavior. From what I can see, this now former judge wasn\u2019t corrupt in the sense of taking bribes and what not. No, it appears that she was a flat out incompetent bitch. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n An Alabama judge was removed from the bench for committing several substantial ethics violations, including referring to another judge as an “Uncle Tom,” a derogatory term meant to describe a Black person who is overly allegiant to White people.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n Now this is interesting. When someone starts throwing around what are pretty obviously racial slurs, you tend to think of it as being done by someone with a different skin tone. (The moron would be the correct term). However, using the term \u201cUncle Tom\u201d is not something some KKK wannabe would actually use.<\/p>\n Jefferson County Judge Nakita Blocton, who is herself Black, “engaged in a pattern and practice of making inappropriate comments \u2013 for example, calling one judge \u2018Uncle Tom” and another judge a \u2018fat b****\u2019 and calling an employee a heifer,” according to the findings of a commission that filed a complaint against the judge for various ethics violations. <\/b><\/p>\n Well, that explains the use of the term \u201cUncle Tom.\u201d It\u2019s something I\u2019ve seen Black Supremacists use, generally against successful people who are black. In other words, a loudmouthed moron.<\/p>\n The commission also found that Blocton engaged in a pattern of abuse of staff, attorneys and litigants that included referring to one employee as a “heifer” and verbally abusing and belittling another employee.<\/b><\/p>\n I\u2019m guessing that the employee referred to as a heifer may have a bit of a weight problem.<\/p>\n The judge ordered her employees to allow her to see their private cellphones and provide their private log-in credentials on work computers in an effort to delete material relevant to the investigation into her conduct.<\/b><\/p>\n If in that situation, some judge ordered me to show him or her my personal cellphone, I would tell them absolutely no. As for demanding my login credentials, \u201cHello, IT Security? I have a problem.\u201d I can tell you what she wanted violates just about every computer security policy I know, and in the private sector can lead to termination of employment. If there is a reason to access an employee\u2019s computer using their credentials, there are procedures that the Information Technology Department has, and they involve Human Resources and, potentially, the legal department.<\/p>\n She also made her employees work unreasonable hours, including excessive, unproductive and unnecessary late night, according to the commission.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n I\u2019m assuming that these employees were salaried, not hourly. If you force an hourly employee to put in overtime, it\u2019s going to show up on the time cards. (These days, those are electronic, not actual punch cards) Questions would be raised as to why all the overtime. A salaried employee, on the other hand, can be called in to work extra hours up to a point, and then people will start asking for justification.<\/p>\n Although “she spent a substantial amount of time in her office,” Blocton failed to promptly dispose of many cases assigned to her and was unable to remedy a backlog of cases.<\/b><\/p>\n So she was incompetent as well, or just plain lazy. (I\u2019m going with incompetent. We\u2019re seeing the same thing with Vice President Harris\u2019s office turnover. She bullies people because she doesn\u2019t have a clue and no interest in obtaining one)<\/p>\n Blocton allegedly made an attorney beg her not to fire an employee who had spoken with a litigant about the harm she had suffered due to the delay in solving the litigant’s case. <\/b><\/p>\n I see they\u2019re also adding abuse of authority to the list. In fact, going through the list of things she did, this woman should never have been allowed anywhere near the bench. This led me to do a little digging to find out how she became a judge. Alabama is one of the states that elects judges, not appoints them. She ran for the post in 2016, just edging out her opponent. I\u2019m guessing the problems began soon after she assumed her post.<\/p>\n Oh, since she was elected, would you care to play \u201cGuess the party?\u201d Her political affiliation isn\u2019t mentioned in the Fox News article, however I did find it when I used DuckDuckGo to gather more information. If you said \u201cDemocrat\u201d you would win a cookie.<\/p>\n When the word of her abuses started percolating up the chain, a commission was impaneled to investigate and when this was concluded the Alabama Court of the Judiciary acted and booted her from the bench.<\/p>\n All nine judges on the Alabama Court of the Judiciary acted on Dec. 10. to remove Blocton from the bench and ordered her to pay the costs of their proceeding.<\/b><\/p>\n They ordered her to pay the costs? I doubt that this is a token amount. Well, I don\u2019t think they\u2019ve also moved to disbar her, so she can always go back to ambulance chasing or something. Of course, there is always the chance that she could be noticed by President Meat Puppet\u2019s handlers and be nominated to the Federal courts.
