Good day all. The Great Panicdemic of 2020<\/i><\/span> 2021<\/i><\/span> 2022 has not been kind to teachers or, more importantly, to their unions. Since the Panicdemic started and panicking politicians closed the schools and ordered \u201cOnline classrooms,\u201d Parents who have also been stuck at home have had the chance to see what their children have been taught.<\/p>\n

As I\u2019ve reported time and time again, they have not been amused. Last fall, schools, under pain of parental lynch mobs started opening the the classrooms again. This annoyed the Unions since they have assumed that they are in charge, not the parents and certainly not the local governments.<\/p>\n

Recently, the Chicago teachers union announced that they had decided that the schools will be closed and remote teaching restarted. The city government and the mayor Lori Lightfoot were not consulted. They were simply told this was the way things were going to be. That fight is continuing and Lightfoot, one of the more incompetent mayors, may have actually decided to do her job…for once. The Union, on the other hand, is doubling down on their plans and has now started threatening teachers who go into the classroom. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

A Chicago Teachers Union delegate has vowed to “report” union employees who show up to work at their school. Alex Forgue, a physics teacher at the Chicago Military Academy at Bronzeville, commented on a post inside a “CTU Members Only Facebook Group,” stating that he would be reporting members who go into work. <\/b><\/p>\n

“As a delegate, I will be reporting the names of members who go in,” he commented on a post asking members if the Chicago Teachers Union is posting a “scab” list. <\/b><\/p>\n

So, you are admitting that this is a strike? Also, like all good union thugs, you\u2019re threatening anyone who doesn\u2019t toe the Union line? Good to know.<\/p>\n

Forgue confirmed that he made the comment when speaking with Fox News Digital, but said that the union has not instructed delegates to keep track of who goes into work.<\/b><\/p>\n

“Yes I did,” Forgue said when asked if he made the comment on Facebook. “However, CTU has not instructed any delegates to keep track of who went in. No word from CTU leadership about repercussions for going in.” <\/b> <\/b><\/p>\n

Nice fall on your sword there dude. If the Union had ordered this, it would have opened them up to even greater sanctions. Now they can disavow you, and don\u2019t think they won\u2019t when your \u201cCunning plan\u201d blows up in your face.<\/p>\n

Chicago Public Schools has canceled classes since Wednesday, as a result of a Chicago Teachers Union vote on Tuesday night where members decided to go back to remote learning due to surging coronavirus cases in Chicago.<\/b><\/p>\n

I understand that parents are, to put it mildly, enraged. This wasn\u2019t some contract negotiation where a strike was a possibility. This was a flat out demonstration to the parents and the city of who they, (the Union), thinks is in charge.<\/p>\n

A move to remote learning was not accepted by the Chicago Public Schools, and classes have been canceled since Wednesday. CPS could cancel classes yet again on Monday if a deal is not struck with the Chicago Teachers Union. <\/b><\/p>\n

Here would be my \u201cdeal\u201d to the union. \u201cYou\u2019re back in the classroom Monday morning or in the unemployment line Tuesday afternoon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Forgue said that he is tracking those who go into work to track participation of the “remote action” at his school, and noted that only one union member is not participating in the strike. <\/b><\/p>\n

I have an article on this fine human being that I\u2019m going to write up shortly. That this thug is threatening this man shows why unions need to be broken asap.<\/p>\n

He stated that the Chicago Teachers Union did not punish any individuals during the 2019 strike, but noted that it’s important to keep track of participation in any strike because it directly affects the union’s ability to negotiate. <\/b><\/p>\n

“It\u2019s important to keep track of participation. The union\u2019s power to bargain for safe work & learning conditions comes from its members standing together. CPS knows this which is why they published the number of CTU teachers who went into the building on their Twitter page,” Forgue said. <\/b><\/p>\n

Apparently, this piece of walking debris is getting some push back on his threats.<\/p>\n

Forgue eventually backtracked on his initial Facebook comment, stating that he has “no plans to send any list to to [sic] CTU as they have not asked for it.” <\/b><\/p>\n

“The only thing I have to report is how many members participated & how many members did not,” Forgue said. <\/b><\/p>\n

I expect the City and that puffer fish wannabe Mayor Laughingstock Lightfoot to cave in to the Union. After all, they\u2019re Democrats and the Unions flat out owns them. What the parents want is immaterial. Those that do go into work are the true teachers, (as long as they aren\u2019t pushing socialist and racist indoctrination of course). If the Union thugs go after them, they should be protected. As for the Union, it\u2019s time to \u201cOpen up the shop\u201d as it were and let people who want to teach not be forced to join a union as a condition of employment. There is a reason Unions hate Right to Work states.<\/p>\n
