Good day all. Recently, John Hopkins University released a study on the effectiveness of the economically devastating lock-downs instituted during the Great Panicdemic. The study basically throws napalm on the already burning conflagration regarding the idiocy of the governors and mayors who put the entire nation, (with a few exceptions), into what amounted to house arrest.<\/p>\n

The study is now starting to make the rounds and is, not unexpectedly, being completely ignored by the Communazi Propaganda Corps. The short version is, the lock-downs were useless. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

A recent controversial Johns Hopkins meta-analysis<\/a> reignites a discussion about the adverse consequences of lockdowns after finding they had no significant mortality benefit during the first wave of the 2020 pandemic in the United States and Europe, according to a recent <\/b>report<\/b><\/u><\/a>.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

“We find no evidence that lockdowns, school closures, border closures and limiting gatherings have had a noticeable effect on COVID-19 mortality,” said the authors of the study, which is not peer-reviewed and reflects the authors’ views, not necessarily those of the <\/b>university<\/b><\/u><\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n

Nice little dig there at the end, saying the report wasn\u2019t peer reviewed. Considering that the \u201cPeers\u201d are about as trustworthy as Joe Biden is competent, I\u2019m not surprised that it hasn\u2019t gone through any review process. Now if they release the raw data and processes they used for the world to see, it will get really reviewed.<\/p>\n

The study authors, however, did find closing nonessential businesses reduced COVID-19 mortality by 10.6%, which is likely most related to the closure of <\/b>bars<\/b><\/u><\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n

“Our study shows the benefits [of lockdowns] \u2014 in terms of fewer deaths \u2014 are questionable and small,” Jonas Herby, special advisor at the Center for Political Studies in Copenhagen, Denmark, told Fox News. Herby’s research focuses on law and economics, and he is a co-author of the study.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

How about the benefits were either nonexistent to detrimental?<\/p>\n

The meta-analysis<\/a> \u2013 a survey or study of previous studies<\/a> \u2013 which Herby wrote along with two other prominent economists, noted lockdowns have had “devastating effects” as society weathers the unintended consequences. <\/b><\/p>\n

“They have contributed to reducing economic activity, raising unemployment, reducing schooling, causing political unrest, contributing to domestic violence and undermining liberal democracy,” the report <\/b>noted<\/b><\/u><\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n

Well to be honest, undermining liberals and what they call a society is actually a good thing. All the rest? How about right on target?<\/b><\/p>\n

The research directly contradicts the most influential model for lockdowns led by epidemiologist Neil Ferguson, which was largely responsible for “driving the world\u2019s response to COVID-19” that “jarred the U.S. and the U.K. to action,” according to The Wall Street <\/b>Journal<\/b><\/u><\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n

I have a vague memory of Ferguson and his study, and again a vague recollection that it was nothing more than a steaming pile of manure. Well what do you know? My memory wasn\u2019t Bidenlike. His report was junk after all. According a story in the National Review from May 2020<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Neil Ferguson is the British academic who created the infamous Imperial College model that warned Boris Johnson that, without an immediate lockdown, the coronavirus would cause 500,000 deaths and swamp the National Health Service. <\/b><\/p>\n

Johan Giesecke, the former chief scientist for the European Center for Disease Control and Prevention, has called Ferguson\u2019s model \u201cthe most influential scientific paper\u201d in memory. He also says it was, sadly, \u201cone of the most wrong<\/a>.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Apparently, even Ferguson didn\u2019t believe it. The reason he was forced to resign? He was spotted violating the lockdown so he could play footsie with his girlfriend.<\/p>\n

With all of his influence, it\u2019s not surprising British media are making a great deal about Ferguson being forced to resign from the government\u2019s virus advisory board yesterday after revelations he had violated lockdown rules he had championed in order to conduct an affair with a married woman. Ferguson admits he made an \u201cerror of judgement and took the wrong course of action<\/a>.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

Because of his resignation, real experts started reviewing his work and found it to be garbage. Returning to the Fox News story<\/a>:<\/p>\n

The Johns Hopkins researchers acknowledged a limitation of the study was excluding certain studies like Ferguson\u2019s to avoid biases, such as those brought on by “time-dependent factors” like seasonality. So papers that looked at early lockdowns such as in China, which suppressed COVID-19 to very low death rates, were also not included, according to a United Kingdom <\/b>report<\/b><\/u><\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n

No one is using anything coming out of China for the very simple reason that the CCP has been lying about everything and flat out can\u2019t be trusted. The same thing happened with the World Health Organization when it was discovered that they were actually covering up for the Chinese Communist Party instead of actually doing their job.<\/p>\n

Another problem with the lock-downs was the inability of people to see their doctors for anything other than emergencies. This was all due to \u201cBending the curve to prevent the hospitals from being overrun.\u201d We now know that was a load of crap, and always was.<\/p>\n

By the end of June 2020, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that, due to COVID-19 concerns, approximately 41% of United States adults delayed or avoided medical care, including 12% who avoided urgent or emergency care and 32% who neglected routine care. Those findings noted a higher prevalence among people with multiple medical problems, Black and Hispanic adults, young adults and persons with disabilities, according to a past Morbidity and Mortality Weekly <\/b>Report<\/b><\/u><\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n

The number of people who were forced to delay medical procedures who later died isn\u2019t known. However it is significant. What is also significant is the false statistics used by the CDC in the United States regarding who many people died due to the Coronavirus vs those who had the virus, but also had other things wrong with them. The last I saw, the CDC was admitting to about 75% of those who they initially claimed \u201cDied of Covid\u201d actually had other issues that killed them, like a gunshot to the head.<\/p>\n

Another aspect has been the actions of the Bumbles Dementia in dealing with the virus. When the Greatest President of the 21st<\/sup> Century left office, he also handed over all sorts of plans and the results of Operation Warp Speed to develop a vaccine. As expected, the senile idiot has botched everything up and is blaming everyone else for his own incompetence.<\/p>\n

“The president has been clear that we are not pushing lockdowns, we have not been pro-lockdown, that has not been his agenda,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said when asked about the Johns Hopkins paper at a recent press <\/b>briefing<\/b><\/u><\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n

“Most of the lockdowns actually happened under the previous president. What our objective has been is to convey we have the tools we need to keep our country open.”<\/b><\/p>\n

Actually, they occurred under the state governors, and not all of them initiated lock-downs. Those that did have been shown to have been dead wrong, and many of them used the lock-downs as a means to assert absolute rule and as a means to rig the 2020 election. In fact, it\u2019s the states and cities run by the Progressive Liberal Democratic Communazis that are still pushing various forms of lock-downs. Their problem is that people have had it and have started ignoring them.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s going to be a few years I think, and a change in administrations, before we finally get the truth out and also deal with those who are responsible for this fiasco. One person who has a target on his back is Anthony Fauci. He\u2019s the one who created the Covid-19 virus under the guise of \u201cGain of Function\u201d research.<\/p>\n

He has already been show to have lied about the origins, his responsibilities and a plethora of other little things. He\u2019s also been shown to be both incompetent and corrupt. If anyone needs to go to jail, it\u2019s him and his former boss Francis Collins. As for this report, as I mentioned earlier, most of the media are studiously ignoring it for..reasons. And they wonder why no one trusts them anymore. Read the report and decide for yourselves.<\/p>\n
