Good day all. As energy costs skyrocket, people are asking why we aren\u2019t producing more oil? We were ramping up production end exploration under the Greatest President of the 21st<\/sup> Century, Donald Trump, so what is going on now? The answer is very simple.<\/p>\n

Since the first hours after Dementia Joe Biden was installed into the Oval Office, he has been doing everything he can to shut down the energy sector, particularly oil, coal and gas production. This has led to massive increases in the costs of energy of all types, including the favorite of progressives, Unicorn Farts,<\/p>\n

One of the things the senile idiot did was cancel all actions for new oil leases. Without those leases, oil companies can\u2019t explore or start production. There is also the question regarding President* Bumbles Dementia\u2019s actual legal authority to shut down the auction process. This has gone to court, and the courts have told Maladministration to open up the bidding. The maladministration is refusing to do so. Here are the details from the Daily Caller<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

The Biden administration missed another deadline to hold quarterly onshore oil drilling lease sales after a federal court ruled it was legally required to do so. <\/b><\/p>\n

The Department of the Interior (DOI) defied the June 2021 court ruling which ordered<\/a> the administration to halt its ban on new oil and gas leases, the Western Energy Alliance \u2014 a fossil fuel industry group that challenged the ban \u2014 said Wednesday. In August 2021, the DOI vowed<\/a> to publish notices of competitive sales in December and hold a lease sale 45 days later, two promises it failed to keep, in court filings<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

They failed to keep their promises? How about they never intended to keep them in the first place? Normally, one could chalk this up to the normal incompetence of the Bumbles Dementia maladministration, however you only have to see who the Senate stupidly confirmed as Secretary of the Interior. Deb Haaland<\/a> is one of the militant progressives who want to shut down the oil industry in the United States. She is in charge of the Department of the Interior and it she who is in charge and makes the decisions on the auctions. She is exactly the person who can start or stop the auctions.<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Biden just told the American people he\u2019ll work like the devil to lower prices at the gas pump. But the lack of progress on federal lease sales means he\u2019s not trying very hard,\u201d Kathleen Sgamma, president of the Western Energy Alliance, said in a statement. \u201cThe department continues to miss deadlines, drag its feet, and ignore a judge\u2019s ruling to hold sales.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Biden Administration is intent on preventing American producers from developing the energy we have at home to meet our country\u2019s needs and lower gas prices,\u201d Sgamma said.<\/b><\/p>\n

Under the Mineral Leasing Act of 1920, the interior secretary is required<\/a> to hold lease sales \u201cat least quarterly.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Haaland might be required to by law, but she is also one of the Progressive \u201cSpecial People\u201d who believes that the law doesn\u2019t apply to her. Perhaps it\u2019s time for a little hardball and have the court hold her in contempt. She is obviously breaking the law. If she is not able to organize auctions that have been held since the 1920\u2019s, then she should either step down or be fired. If she is doing this intentionally, perhaps being fitted for an orange jumpsuit might motivate her to do her job. Of course, this is the Dementia Joe Biden maladministration.<\/p>\n

President Joe Biden has pushed an aggressive anti-fossil fuel agenda since taking office, nixing<\/a>\u00a0the Keystone XL pipeline,\u00a0ditching<\/a> an oil drilling project in Alaska and staying silent<\/a> on a court ruling that prohibited a massive offshore drilling lease in the Gulf of Mexico. The White House has appealed<\/a> to Middle Eastern and Russian energy producers for more oil and natural gas production.<\/b><\/p>\n

Gee, for someone claiming to want to reduce energy costs, trying to prevent the development of new energy sources seems to be a bit on the counterproductive side to me. But then, it is a Biden promise. Those generally have the life span of of one of his remaining neurons.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe oil and natural gas on federal public lands belong to the American people and could help the nation lower energy prices,\u201d Sgamma said. \u201cInstead, the president lobbies Russia and OPEC to boost their production while constraining American producers. As a result, gas prices remain high and the president makes empty promises.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Biden has no interest in the American people, their welfare or their success. All he cares about is himself, and his next ice cream cone…and a puppy. Dementia Joe is completely under the thrall of the Church of Climate Change and it\u2019s inquisitors are working to destroy the United States. On the positive side, President Dementia\u2019s failures improve the chances of a major political realignment in November. Then we might have a chance to remove a sitting president from office for actual crimes and\/or mental incompetence.<\/p>\n
