Good day all. Sean Penn is a fairly decent actor. He\u2019s also a first class idiot and a total jerk. He has a long history of inserting himself into situations that he has no real understanding of, and then getting himself into trouble. He has done it again with the Ukraine.<\/p>\n

When the Russians invaded the Ukraine, Penn decided to go into the country with a camera crew and \u201cFilm a documentary.\u201d I have no idea what was going through his progressive mind when he came up with this \u201cBrilliant idea.\u201d Now that real shooting is happening, it looks like brave Sean Penn has bravely run away…again. Here are the details from The Mix<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Sean Penn has fled Ukraine for Poland after declaring that the “soul as America is lost” if the country does not take up arms against Russia.<\/b><\/p>\n

Despite the recent social support for Sherlock actress Amanda Abbington\u2019s invitation for Hollywood to \u201cshut the f\u2013k up<\/a>\u201d about the unfolding situation in Ukraine, it seems social activist and actor\/director Sean Penn missed the memo that most everyone is tired of celebrity activism. <\/b>At the time of Abbington\u2019s admonishment. Penn was in Kyiv filming a documentary about the Russian invasion. <\/b><\/p>\n

From what I saw, Penn wasn\u2019t on the front lines risking his Progressive Liberal ass. He was in Kyiv attending what used to be called the \u201cFive O\u2019Clock Follies\u201d during the Vietnam war. (The difference being that the Ukrainians were trying to get out what was happening)<\/p>\n

In a statement released to the press<\/a> on February 25th after government officials in Kyiv gave a briefing on the crisis the previous day, Penn said, \u201cAlready a brutal mistake of lives taken and hearts broken, and if he doesn\u2019t relent, I believe Mr. Putin will have made a most horrible mistake for all of humankind.\u201d\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

Well, he is partially correct. Putin has definitely stepped on his crank big time. As for the rest?<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Zelensky and the Ukrainian people have risen as historic symbols of courage and principle,\u201d he added. \u201cUkraine is the tip of the spear for the democratic embrace of dreams. If we allow it to fight alone, our soul as America is lost.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

However, as the situation in Kyiv continues to escalate, the bravado of his attempt to summon Americans to fight in another country\u2019s battle seems have to fallen flat. <\/b><\/p>\n

No kidding. First, there is no way the United States can or should send American military forces into the Ukraine. That would lead very quickly to World War Three and the potential using of nuclear weapons. Second, while Americans have no problem sending the Ukrainians what they need to defend themselves, no one other then the neocons and extreme moonbats, neither of whom will pick up a rifle, wants to intervene.<\/p>\n

Now individual Americans may be heading over there to join up, but that is their individual choice. (One of the forums I follow has someone who has gone radio silent and might be heading to the Ukraine) As for Sean Penn? Is he offering his services as a well trained Actor to go out and catch Russian bullets? According to Reuters, apparently not.<\/a><\/p>\n

A spokesperson in Los Angeles, Mara Buxbaum, told Reuters by email on Tuesday that Penn had “made it out of Ukraine safely.” She declined to answer other questions about his whereabouts or the circumstances of his departure from Ukraine. <\/b><\/p>\n

“Myself & two colleagues walked miles to the Polish border after abandoning our car on the side of the road,” Penn said in a caption tweeted with the picture. “Almost all the cars in this photo carry women & children only, most without any sign of luggage, and a car their only possession of value.” <\/b><\/p>\n

This reminds me of a little tune from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. All you need to do is replace \u201cSir Robin\u201d with \u201cSean Penn.\u201d<\/p>\n
