Good day all. Now that gas prices have hit $5 a gallon, President Bumbles Dementia is beginning to realize that the midterm elections might not go in the way he expected. This is hardly surprising, considering that Joe Dementia has been working to shut down oil production in the United States.<\/p>\n

With the \u201cRed Wave\u201d building in flyover country, Biden has decided that the best way to lower gas prices, besides emptying the Strategic Reserves, is to threaten oil companies. Here are the details from Fox Business News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

President Biden may resort to using emergency powers if American oil companies don’t increase output at their refineries, the president told oil CEOs in a series of letters Wednesday. <\/b><\/p>\n

So what is this failure going to do? Nationalize them? Good luck with that. The problem is there is nothing for them to refine since that failure has done everything he can to shut down oil exploration and drilling in the United States.<\/p>\n

Biden’s statement blames oil companies for running “historically high profit margins” even as Americans experience surging gas prices. Biden has recently faced criticism for a lack of executive action<\/a> aimed at curbing inflation. <\/b><\/p>\n

Curbing inflation? That moron caused it. As for the \u201cHistorically high profit margins\u2019\u201d when you look at them, the oil companies are making their usual $0.05-$0.07 profit per gallon. The one\u2019s making all the money are the states and the Federal government with their excessively high levels of taxes and fees.<\/p>\n

“There is no question that Vladimir Putin is principally responsible for the intense financial pain the American people and their families are bearing,” Biden wrote. “But amid a war that has raised gasoline prices more than $1.70 per gallon, historically high refinery profit margins are worsening that pain.” <\/b><\/p>\n

“Your companies and others have an opportunity to take immediate actions to increase the supply of gasoline, diesel and other refined product you are producing,” he continued. “My administration is prepared to use all reasonable and appropriate Federal Government tools and emergency authorities to increase refinery capacity and output in the near term, and to ensure that every region of this country is appropriately supplied.” <\/b><\/p>\n

And just what are you going to do Stupid? In case you have forgotten, and knowing you, you probably have, you basically declared war on oil and once you sleazed your way into office, promptly began shutting down drilling, exploration, production and the infrastructure needed to move products throughout the country. The Oil companies appear to have had enough of this lying senile idiot and responded to his lies. Here are the details from Fox Business News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

ExxonMobil fired back at President Biden after he threatened them with “emergency powers” if they don\u2019t boost supply to temper surging gas prices.\u00a0<\/b>In a statement released Wednesday<\/a> from the company, ExxonMobil said it has been in regular contact with the administration providing updates on how it has been investing “more than any other company to develop U.S. oil and gas supplies.”\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

ExxonMobil said had invested $118 billion on new oil and gas supplies over the past five years, compared to a net income of $55 billion \u2013 resulting in an almost 50% increase in its U.S. production of oil during that period.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

Gee, that isn\u2019t what the Liar in Chief is saying. Of course, I suspect that most of that increase occurred under the Greatest President of the 21st<\/sup> Century, Donald Trump. As soon as the Moron was sworn in, he started signing orders shutting down oil exploration and production in the United States.<\/p>\n

“We kept investing even during the pandemic, when we lost more than $20 billion and had to borrow more than $30 billion to maintain investment to increase capacity to be ready for post-pandemic demand,” the company said.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

The statement ended imploring the Biden administration to \u2013 rather threaten emergency powers \u2013 “promote investment through clear and consistent policy that supports U.S. resource development.”\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

Has anyone explained to this idiot that refineries can\u2019t refine what they don\u2019t have? They also require maintenance, otherwise things break and or blow up and catch fire. One reporter did ask that question.<\/p>\n

Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre Thursday why the Biden administration was calling on oil companies to increase productivity at refineries instead of calling for more drilling.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

This should be good. Inaccurate, dead wrong and stupid of course, but good for a few laughs.<\/p>\n

Jean-Pierre argued that oil companies cut refinery capacity at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic<\/a> and have yet to increase that capacity back to pre-pandemic levels.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

When pressed as to why the president didn\u2019t “just drill more here in the U.S.,” Jean-Pieerre responded: “Because we don’t need to do that.”\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

“What we need [oil companies] to do is, with the oil that’s out there, we need them to refine that oil so that the capacity can go up and that prices would go down,” she said. <\/b><\/p>\n

He might want to try nationalizing the oil companies, but the courts will shut that down so fast it will instantly melt his ice cream cone.<\/p>\n

Even if they didn\u2019t, most of the people working there will walk off the jobs. What would the senile idiot do then? Institute conscription and draft them? That would go over real well.
