On Friday\u2019s, (June 17th<\/sup>), broadcast of MSNBC\u2019s \u201cChris Jansing Reports,\u201d Senior Adviser to President Joe Biden Gene Sperling responded to a survey showing that a majority of CEOs expect a recession in the next 18 months by stating that \u201cwe think that too many people are not looking at the more reassuring elements of resilience in this economy right now and they\u2019re not realizing that the American Rescue Plan put a historic number of people back to work.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Those people should never have been out of work to begin with of course, but the Progressives decided that wrecking the economy and forcing businesses to shut down was a good way to \u201cGet Trump!\u201d Now we\u2019re starting to see job officers being rescinded and layoffs beginning.<\/p>\n

Host Chris Jansing asked, \u201cSo, look, because of fuel prices, it\u2019s fueling inflation, there are concrete fears of a recession. There was one survey<\/a> recently that said 60% of CEOs expect a recession in the next year or year-and-a-half. The president believes a recession is not inevitable. Is that his natural optimism or based on something you can share with us?\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n
