Good day all. Since the Bruen Decision that blew up New York\u2019s desire to deny the servers and peons their natural rights to self defense and the means to enable that defense, (The 2nd<\/sup> Amendment). In fact, both the Mayor of New York City, and the unelected Govno of the state, have been actively working to ignore the Supreme Court\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n

However, criminals are continuing to commit crimes, and innocent people are being harmed. Now people are pressing to start carrying firearms to defend themselves. However, Mayor Adams is refusing to allow this to happen. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Monday rejected calls from a Brooklyn bishop who was robbed mid-sermon of $1 million in jewelry for special gun permits<\/a> for members of clergy.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

In my opinion, the clergy has as much right to defend themselves as anyone else, and shouldn\u2019t have to get special permission from the government to exercise their rights to do so. Of course, Adams is a Communazi and as far as he\u2019s concerned, no one other then the ruling elites have rights. Everyone else has privileges that the elites grant them.<\/p>\n

During an unrelated press conference announcing the expansion of the city\u2019s speed camera program, Adams listened to a reporter\u2019s question about Bishop Lamor Miller-Whitehead’s recent call for pastors and other members of clergy to be armed in the Big Apple. The reporter noted how Miller-Whitehead, who himself has a past of grifting and served prison time for theft and grand larceny, had suggested criminal records should not be considered in issuing special gun permits for clergymen and women.<\/a>\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

Well, there is what we call a \u201cFly in the ointment.\u201d Unless Miller-Whitehead has been pardoned for his crimes, he is a felon and has lost the right to keep and bear arms. We can argue later about restoration of rights on completion of sentence another day.<\/p>\n

“Do you think it\u2019s a good idea that like clergy should get a special dispensation when it comes to gun permits?” the reporter asked from off-camera.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

Adams responded flatly, “No.” The mayor laughed briefly and then immediately left the podium to listen closely to another question from someone else about outdoor dining lawsuits in the Big Apple before returning to the microphone. Miller-Whitehead is a longtime friend to Adams.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

Now if Adams were a supporter of the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment, then the \u201cNo\u201d would mean that such a dispensation isn\u2019t needed. However, Adams is just another Communazi gun grabber, so in his mind, no one should have a gun other then the Ruling elites and their personal security details. As to how this question came about?<\/p>\n

At a press conference of his own Friday outside Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries in Canarsie, Brooklyn,<\/a> Miller-Whitehead had called on state legislators to pass a law allowing clergy to carry guns to protect themselves and their congregations.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

“They need to pass a law expeditiously that pastors of houses of worship \u2014 anyone on the ecclesiastical staff \u2014 need to be able to have permits for firearms,” he said. “If the teachers can have it, we should be able to have it.” <\/b><\/p>\n

“No matter if we have a record, it should be exempt,” Miller-Whitehead added. “So we should be able to bear arms as the Constitution says.” <\/b><\/p>\n

I\u2019m not disagreeing with the Bishop regarding felons who have completed their sentences. However, his request also covers those who haven\u2019t committed any crimes as well. As for Miller-Whitehead, if anyone has a reason to need a gun, it\u2019s him.<\/p>\n

This comes after police estimated Miller-Whitehead lost an estimated $1 million-worth in jewelry when three masked gunmen<\/a> barged into his church while he was delivering a live-streamed sermon on July 24. On Sunday, the Gucci-clad bishop, known for his love of high-end designers, bizarrely reenacted the crime for his congregants, sprawling his body out on the floor for dramatic effect, according to the New York Post. <\/b><\/p>\n

Well, if this was caught on video, then there is little doubt he was the victim of a heist. However, I gather some people think this is another one of his cons.<\/p>\n

He has also denied that he was sensationalizing the heist for any purported insurance scam.<\/b><\/p>\n

Unless this is an actual scam, and the robbers were actually working for Miller-Whitehead, there is nothing to sensationalize. The jewelry would have been appraised by the insurance company before a policy was written. Granted this guy is probably overacting on all this, however, the insurance coverage on his losses should be very straightforward.<\/p>\n

During his press conference Friday, Miller-Whitehead pointed to President Biden and Democratic New York<\/a> Gov. Kathy Hochul to do more to protect houses of worship, especially in areas like New York City where gun violence has been surging.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m calling on every elected official that has power to protect houses of worship,” Miller-Whitehead said. “We need protection. We need you to sympathize with us. We don\u2019t get the luxury of having firearms. All we\u2019re asking is help us protect ourselves. Pass a law where we can carry our firearms, because this gun violence has gone to a new level.” <\/b><\/p>\n

First, Progressives hate churches and despise synagogues. If they get shot up, it\u2019s all good for them. Second, excluding Miller-Whitehead, since he is a convicted felon, Why should you have special rights when the average New Yorker is having their constitutional rights flat out denied? I don\u2019t disagree that members of the congregation should be allowed to carry, but why just them and why just in a house of worship? Sadly, Miller-Whitehead is missing the entire point of the discussion.<\/p>\n

New York has some of the strictest gun control measures in the nation. In June, Hochul called a special session of the state legislature after the Supreme Court delivered what was considered a Second Amendment victory, ruling that New York state\u2019s restrictions on concealed carry permits were unconstitutional. She and other Democrats, including Adams, decried the decision, arguing it would contribute to even greater gun violence in the state already struggling with crime.<\/b><\/p>\n

The problem is that the wrong people have the guns. Adams, Hochul and all their predecessors have turned their states into what amounts to a \u201cTarget Rich Environment\u201d for the loons, whackos and criminals who don\u2019t care about the progressives laws. The simple fact of the matter is that Progressives do not want the average citizen to have guns. If they have guns, then they are empowered, and may decide that the Ruling Elite can go pound sand. It\u2019s time for the next step and reverse the National Firearms Act and end the unconstitutional denial of a person\u2019s Right to Keep and Bear Arms.<\/p>\n
