There has been, as expected, serious push<\/p>\n back. Now the unions are telling teacher to ignore whatever Florida says in regards to things like letting boys go into the girls bathrooms. Here are the details from the Post Millennial<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Florida’<\/a>s Department of Education<\/a> issued a memo<\/a> to all school districts in late July explaining that they were not required to comply with the Biden administration’s<\/a> proposed changes to and interpretations of Title IX and Title VII<\/a>. Those changes would require schools that receive federal funding to allow boys and girls access to opposite sex bathrooms if they identify that way. Under Biden’s Title VII interpretation, funding would be withheld from lunch programs that do not comply. <\/b><\/p>\n As you might expect. The Groomer in Chief\u2019s planned changes are not going over well with parents or the State of Florida. (Or any other state that opposes the perverts in Washington) However, the unions are all on board with Biden\u2019s plans and are telling the educators in Florida to ignore the state\u2019s laws.<\/p>\n The local teachers union, however, backed by the National Education Association<\/a> which donated heavily to the Biden campaign, then issued their own contradictory guidance in a memo obtained by <\/b>The Post Millennial. <\/b><\/em>In so doing, they indicated that the “guidance” issued by the Biden administration had actually been enacted as federal law, which it has not been. <\/b><\/p>\n Do you think that Progressives care about little details like something actually being enacted into law? Of course they don\u2019t. It\u2019s all about power over the children, and the \u201cProfessional Educators\u201d think that parents have no rights at all regarding the upbringing of their children.<\/p>\n “I am concerned about the safety of our children in Clay County,” said Tanya Kacsan of Moms for Liberty<\/a> to <\/b>The Post Millennial<\/b><\/em>. “I am also concerned that the union is providing inaccurate information to teachers that does not align with guidance sent by Manny Diaz, Commissioner of Education.” <\/b><\/p>\n Reading through the article in the Post Millennial<\/a>, it appears that Mr. Diaz is telling the school system in Florida that the garbage<\/i><\/span> information sent to Florida is not legally binding and that Florida\u2019s laws are binding.<\/p>\n He specifies further that schools should NOT follow the guidance, because to do these things would “jeopardize the safety and wellbeing of Florida students and risk violating Florida law.”<\/strong><\/p>\n The Progressives, who consider parents who question anything the Education Elites say to be terrorists, are going to ignore Florida law and do what they want.<\/p>\n Yet, the Clay County Education Association<\/a> has their own plans as to how to bypass local law and do, instead, what the interpreted guidance from the Biden administration suggests. They sent out their own memo to teachers and educators, explaining to them that they should do as the Biden administration recommends, and ignore Florida law. <\/b><\/p>\n What comes next is flat out propaganda from groomers, perverts, communists, progressives and liberals, but I\u2019m repeating myself.<\/p>\n In a memo titled “Parental Bill of Rights aka Don\u2019t Say Gay Law,” the union states that: “certain politicians are attacking LGBTQ students and staff to divide communities and to divert attention away from Florida being near the bottom in the nation in school funding and educator salaries. But we will not lose focus on making sure that every student feels safe, welcome, respected, and loved while at school \u2014 no matter their race, income, ZIP code, sexual orientation or gender identify. Together, we will make sure that every student in Florida attends a school that is worthy of them.” <\/b><\/p>\n What a load of liberal bilge, Teachers have one primary job, teaching their students and a secondary job of protecting them. Nothing more. The Union goes on with yet another misrepresentation of the truth.<\/p>\n “The law,” the union complains of the Parental Rights in Education Bill, “was intentionally written to be confusing and vague.
