Good day all. I was just checking the news feeds when I saw this article indicating that some damned idiot thought it would be a great idea to play around and alter the genetic structure of the Omicron variant of the Coronavirus.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re finally putting the Covid panicdemic behind us now, and people have long since started moving on and trying to clean up from the mess people like Anthony Fauci, the CDC and the Biden Maladministration have made of things. There are members of congress who are looking into how Covid-19 came about, and after the midterms, a number of people in assorted medical bureaucracies are going to be in the hot seat. So I would like to know what F**KING IDIOT thought it was a great idea to make the damn thing even more lethal? Here are the details from the Post Millennial<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Researchers at Boston University\u2019s National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories have created a new strain of the Covid virus, echoing experiments which many believe led to the Covid-19 pandemic. <\/b><\/p>\n

The variant is a hybrid of the Omicron variant which spread over the winter and the original virus that was discovered in Wuhan<\/a>, with this hybrid killing 80 percent of the mice researchers infected, according to the Daily Mail<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

While I don\u2019t have any issues with these idiot taking out the rodent population, (Although I think any number of Politicians might be upset at being targeted), What is this going to do if it breaches containment and gets out into the world? Is it harmful to humans? Will it also kill most of those that catch it?<\/p>\n

Researchers<\/a> found that when infected with the Omicron variant, a similar group of mice all survived and experienced “mild” symptoms. <\/b><\/p>\n

That is the whole point. The omicron variant is very weak and is basically no worse then a bad cold or flu. Why did these fools think that making it more lethal was a good idea?<\/p>\n

The new research, which has not been peer reviewed, centers around the role of spike proteins in the pathogenic and antigenic behaviors of the virus. Researchers extracted Omicron\u2019s spike protein, which binds to and invades human cells, and attached those to the original virus that emerged in Wuhan. <\/b><\/p>\n

Looking at how mice fared against the new hybrid strain, researchers wrote, “In\u2026mice, while Omicron causes mild, non-fatal infection, the Omicron S-carrying virus inflicts severe disease with a mortality rate of 80 percent.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

But wait, it gets worse, a lot worse.<\/p>\n

In addition to looking at mice, researchers also looked at how different strains affect human lung cells that were grown in the lab. <\/b>Researchers found that the new strain<\/a> produced five times more infectious virus particles than the Omicron variant. Researchers noted that the hybrid virus is likely to be less deadly in humans due to differences in the immune systems of mice and humans. <\/b><\/p>\n

Oh I\u2019m sure they can fix that little issue and make it 80-90 percent lethal for humans. Whoever authorized this needs to be tarred, feathered and run out of town on a rail. As for the materials, (The viruses that have been genetically altered), they need to be destroyed right now, all of them. Burn them with fire. As for the researchers? Granted the labs at Boston University are probably far better maintained then the ones in Wuhan, from a containment point of view, but do we really need to take chances with this…again?
