Recently, rumors started flying that Elon Musk, once he took ownership of Twitter, would lay off 75% of the work force. Add to this, Musk\u2019s plans to \u201cCancel\u201d the cancel culture inside Twitter, clean up the spam bots and put an end to the Twitlers censorship, and you can see why the \u201cLittle Woke Darlings\u201d are so upset. In response to the rumors of major cuts, the dumber people in Twitter have circulated and open letter protesting any layoffs. Here are the details of their suicide note from Time<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n E<\/b>mployees at Twitter are circulating an open letter protesting Elon Musk\u2019s<\/a> plan to fire as much as 75% of the company\u2019s workforce, as the deadline for him to complete his $44 billion acquisition of the company looms, TIME has learned. <\/b><\/p>\n Elon Musk told prospective funders of his Twitter acquisition that he planned to replace or eradicate the jobs of nearly 75% of Twitter\u2019s staff, reducing headcount from 7,500 to just 2,000, the Washington Post reported<\/a> last week. Musk has previously claimed that the social media company is bloated, and has also said<\/a> its workforce has a \u201cstrong left-wing bias.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n While I don\u2019t know if Musk will layoff 75% of the workforce at Twitter, there are a number of jobs that appear to be superfluous to the actual running of the business. As to the \u201cStrong left wing bias?<\/p>\n TIME reviewed a draft of the open letter circulating among Twitter employees on Monday. \u201cElon Musk\u2019s plan to lay off 75% of Twitter workers will hurt Twitter\u2019s ability to serve the public conversation,\u201d said the draft of the letter, which has not yet been published. \u201cA threat of this magnitude is reckless, undermines our users\u2019 and customers\u2019 trust in our platform, and is a transparent act of worker intimidation.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n It sounds to me that a lot of these moonbats think that they are owed a job. As for \u201cTrust in the platform?\u201d Are they even living on Planet Earth? No one trusts Twitter these days. They managed to wreck what little trust people had in them when they removed the Greatest President of the 21st<\/sup> Century, Donald Trump, and allowed actual terrorists and criminals to continue posting on the platform.<\/p>\n The letter demands that Musk commits to preserving Twitter\u2019s current headcount if his takeover of the company goes through. It also demands he does not discriminate against employees based on their political beliefs and that he commits to \u201cfair\u201d severance policies and more communication about working conditions. \u201cWe demand to be treated with dignity, and to not be treated as mere pawns in a game played by billionaires,\u201d the list of demands says. <\/b><\/p>\n You demand? Allow me to explain to you how the world actually works. You are employees of Twitter. Elon Musk is about to take ownership, meaning he will be your employer. You have no rights other then what are laid down in the law and in your employment contracts. I suspect the Twitler snowflakes are \u201cAt Will\u201d employees. This means they can be shown the door at any time.<\/p>\n As for severance packages? That is usually what you are currently owed in salary and benefits at the time of your termination, nothing more. I\u2019ve gone through layoffs in my life, and only once did I get a severance package, (a very nice one as it happens), Every other time, it was two weeks pay and get out. In one case, the company, who shall remain nameless, screwed up my vacation payout and forced me to send them $2000.<\/p>\n It was unclear how many Twitter employees had signed the letter at the time of publication. \u201cSignatures will not be made public unless we have critical mass,\u201d said a note sent to prospective signatories. <\/b><\/p>\n And just what would \u201cCritical mass\u201d be? If the rumors are true, then 75% of these precious snowflakes are going to be shown the door in the next few months. All posting the names of the people stupid enough to sign the letter will do is paint a nice, big bullseye on their backs. This is something that\u2019s already happened a few times recently. Spoiled brats making demands and doing walk outs, mostly for political reasons, and being fired.<\/p>\n I hope Elon Musk does can 75% of these useless idiots. Most of them will not \u201cLand on their feet\u201d as itr were and get new jobs with other Big Tech companies. Thanks to their president*, Bumbles Dementia Biden, the economy is in a recession and companies are either not hiring or doing layoffs themselves. Even those that were hired have not received their start dates, sometimes for months after resigning their old jobs. Well, as I mentioned in another post<\/a>, perhaps these moonbats can \u201cLearn to dig coal.\u201d<\/p>\n The deal has closed and Elon Musk is now the owner of Twitter.
