Here are the details from PJ Media<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Oil prices and President Joe Biden\u2019s continued draining of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) have dominated the headlines over the past few weeks, but analysts say a more impactful and serious crisis on the energy front looms: a diesel fuel shortage. <\/b><\/p>\n Diesel doesn\u2019t get as much of the limelight as oil and gas, but it should because diesel fuel is the industrial lifeblood of the United States, and the price of diesel alone probably has a more significant impact on inflation and the prices you\u2019re paying at the grocery store over any other factor. Without ample amounts of diesel, semi-trucks don\u2019t move, farms are shut down, and critical manufacturing sectors are crippled. <\/b><\/p>\n This is yet another supply chain mess from the most incompetent administration in American history. Now that we\u2019re entering the winter, another issue we have is snow, and the removal thereof from the roads. Snow plows are generally mounted on dump trucks used to both clear the streets and put salt and other ice melts down. No diesel fuel and those trucks don\u2019t move. Of course, the tankers that deliver gas to the stations also run on diesel, so that means cars won\u2019t be going anywhere either.<\/p>\n As Bloomberg<\/a> noted this week, \u201cThe US has just 25 days of diesel supply, the lowest since 2008, according to the Energy Information Administration. At the same time, the four-week rolling average of distillates supplied, a proxy for demand, rose to its highest seasonal level since 2007.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n You would think that the maladministration, which has been gutting our energy sector, would take notice. You would be wrong.<\/p>\n The Biden administration has remained strangely silent, probably hoping that the dismal news doesn\u2019t hit the mainstream because it\u2019s a total political time bomb waiting to go off, especially as the midterm elections are so close. <\/b><\/p>\n I suspect they\u2019re hoping that no one will notice until after the midterms. If people see this beforehand, even more Democrats will lose their seats as people realize that things are going to get a lot worse. According to Bloomberg per PJ Media:<\/p>\n The diesel crunch comes just weeks ahead of the midterm elections and has the potential to drive up prices for consumers who already view inflation and the economy as a top voting issue. Retail prices have been steadily climbing for more than two weeks. At $5.324 a gallon, they\u2019re 50% higher than this time last year, according to AAA data. <\/b><\/p>\n There was a time when diesel fuel was a lot cheaper then regular gas. Then came \u201cThe Government\u201d in it\u2019s guise of the Environmental Protection Racket<\/i><\/span> Agency. Their regulations made diesel more expensive then gasoline and caused a concurrent increase in costs to the consumer…not that those morons give a damn.<\/p>\n Notably, National Economic Council Director Brian Deese recently commented on the emerging crisis. Deese said diesel inventories are \u201cunacceptably low\u201d and added that \u201call options are on the table,\u201d whatever that means. <\/b><\/p>\n Aside from that remark, the White House has done little to nothing about the issue \u2014 an issue that could further cripple confidence in the ability of Democrats to lead America through tough times, as they\u2019ve already proven on many occasions over the past two years. <\/b><\/p>\n Lead us through the tough times? They frakking CAUSED them in the first place! The only real leader we\u2019ve had in the last 15 years was the Greatest President of the 21st<\/sup> Century, Donald Trump.
