Good day all. Since taking control of Twitter, Elon Musk has fired half the permanent employees and most of the contractors. He\u2019s also been restoring the accounts of a number of people and organizations that had been banned due to \u201cWrongspeak.\u201d This has driven the loony left berserk.<\/p>\n

We have also seen a number of leftists, especially the Progressive Propagandists pretending to be journalists also quitting. There are also a few companies who are holding back ads, believing, incorrectly, that since Musk fired the censors, that actual criminals will be running amok on the site. That isn\u2019t the case. It has been with equal parts of amusement and bewilderment that we have watched the collective press meltdown over Elon Musk taking over Twitter. After weeks of hysterics, things are only getting more obtuse. Meanwhile, Musk is taking action that directly defies the claims that he has turned the platform into a dangerous digital wild west. As the journos are mewling over their loss of control the new boss is going after some real threats. <\/b><\/p>\n

One of the efforts Musk has been undertaking, under the radar, is in working to purge the site of sexual offenders and those trafficking in child pornography. Eliza Bleu is a human trafficking and sexual victims advocate who has been lobbying the site<\/a> to address activities in these crimes for years. <\/b><\/p>\n

Reading Bleu\u2019s twitter feed, I saw a number of suggestions that seem to be rather simple to enable, such as cleaning out hashtags. There were others that will take some significant coding work, but the jist was that this could have been done under the old management. Then came the new management and\u2026<\/p>\n

Bleu announced this weekend that Musk has been spearheading efforts to eradicate known hashtags that those involved in the trafficking of this pernicious material have been using for some time.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

The amazing thing is that this activity has been in operation for some time without these steps having been taken. It was just in September when she highlighted a case of a 13-year-old who was sexually exploited and had images of the criminal activity being shared on the platform. After reaching out to management it is said they did little to remove the material. The shame is that this move by Musk is being completely eclipsed by the focus on other aspects of his takeover and the reliance on melodramatics of the internal operations since he took the company over. <\/b><\/p>\n

Frankly, the very fact that Twitter\u2019s management refused to do anything about this should be used against them in a criminal court. As for the media and progressive types, do they even know what Elon Musk is doing about these crimes? Of course not. They\u2019re to busy wailing, whining and gnashing their teeth that Twitter won\u2019t ban people they don\u2019t like any longer.<\/p>\n

Making this all the more ludicrous is all of the alleged journalists who are wailing about safety and the degradation of Twitter with Musk\u2019s arrival. Here he is directing action against disturbing criminal activity that was permitted to operate for some time. He should be loudly applauded for these moves. Instead, the media wants to frame things in reference to themselves, making this out to be a threat that is largely realized only by themselves.<\/b><\/p>\n

I suspect a lot of these alleged journalists were following all of those vermin, looking for some \u201cproduct\u201d they could buy for their own use.<\/p>\n

As Musk is forcibly removing dangerous sexual criminal activity the press is too busy announcing their departures as if Twitter is a train depot. The bad news can be regarded anytime they announce they have returned to the platform. <\/b><\/p>\n

One of the reasons these idiots are returning is that they\u2019ve been kicked off Mastodon, or not even allowed to sign up. One thing they aren\u2019t doing is their actual job. Reporting the news as accurately and concisely as they can. If they were actual, honest reporters, the news regarding Musk\u2019s cleaning ourt all the criminals would be on the front page. Instead it\u2019s \u201cOooh icky! Musk is letting all those bad Republicans back on and they say things that make me uncomfortable! Musk is bad!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Fuck them. In fact, all those corporations that are pulling their ads? If I were Musk, I would simply ask why they were supporting a platform that wasn\u2019t removing child sex traffickers? When they start sputtering and choking, show them how he, (Elon Musk), has been doing what the old Twitter management refused to do. Cleaning off the perverts, pedophiles and criminals. (Which makes me wonder, when Biden\u2019s account will be suspended?) Just think of the bad press he could generate with that question for businesses. Keep up the good work Mr. Musk. I may not agree with you on everything, but you are doing a good thing here.<\/p>\n
