Good day all. Friday, November 18th<\/sup>, CBS announced that it was \u201cPausing\u201d any posts to Twitter. Their reasoning, such as it was, was that they concerned about \u201cUncertainty\u201d on the platform. Translation, Musk was restoring all the conservative accounts that the previous management had suspended, and people were now getting information that hadn\u2019t been approved by CBS.<\/p>\n

Their \u201cPause, lasted about 36-48 hours before they started posting again. When they returned, after making a big splash, people started laughing in their collectivist faces. Here are some of the details from the Washington Examiner<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

To protest Elon Musk<\/a>, CBS News<\/a> quit Twitter<\/a> \u2014 for almost two days. After realizing its protest wasn\u2019t having any impact and its activism wasn’t going the way it thought it would, it not-so-humbly returned. <\/b><\/p>\n

Crawling back in utter humiliation would be a better description in my not so humble opinion.<\/p>\n

On Friday, CBS News tried to virtue-signal and make some point about how Musk was running Twitter. Less than two days later, the television broadcasting company caved and reversed course on whatever virtue-signaling it was trying to do. It is the latest example of left-wing sulking over Musk’s crusade to overturn Twitter’s previous censorship. <\/b><\/p>\n

Toward the end of last week, unsubstantiated rumors circulated that Twitter was near its demise. They were greatly exaggerated. Musk’s new policies as CEO had led to a drastic reduction of the company’s workforce, and ex-employees claimed that it would be dead within a week. In light of this, CBS News foolishly announced it was taking a break from posting on the platform and would monitor the situation before resuming any tweeting. <\/b><\/p>\n

“In light of the uncertainty around Twitter and out of an abundance of caution, CBS News is pausing its activity on the social media site as it continues to monitor the platform,” said Jonathan Vigliotti<\/a>, CBS News national correspondent. <\/b><\/p>\n

This is the problem with these former news networks. They\u2019ve gotten rid of all their old school reporters and replaced them with journalists. A real reporter would have talked with a number of people, advertisers and even Elon Musk to find out what the real story was.<\/p>\n

Journalists just talk to like minded \u201canonymous\u201d sources, many with an axe to grind and don\u2019t actually do the work to find out what is going on. They\u2019re quite content making things up that fit their narrative. This appears to be the case with CBS. They listened to all the disgruntled former employees and assumed that everything they said was accurate.<\/p>\n

But just like the prodigal son, CBS News returned. Except, instead of being honest about its failures and admitting its mistake, it made up some excuse about security concerns as the reason for its break. <\/b><\/p>\n

“After pausing for much of the weekend to assess the security concerns, CBS News and Stations is resuming its activity on Twitter as we continue to monitor the situation,” CBS News PR tweeted Sunday.<\/a> <\/b><\/p>\n

None of the so-called security concerns were ever specified or explained how they were “assessed.” In reality, they never existed. CBS News was caught with egg on its face after its self-imposed Twitter exile. And, while I have no proof of this, it was probably a misguided attempt to sabotage Musk’s Twitter. <\/b><\/p>\n

I have no doubt that CBS was trying to sabotage Twitter and Elon Musk. The problem with all that is no one really noticed they had left. It doesn\u2019t help matters that CBS News has about as much credibility as Sam Bankman-Fried<\/a>, especially after admitting that the Hunter Biden Laptop was real and not Russian disinformation. (CBS intentionally spiked that story to protect Dementia Joe Biden and to \u201cGet Trump!\u201d) As for the \u201cSecurity concerns\u201d CBS might want to look into how Elon Musk has been clearing out all the pedophiles and child sex traffickers, something that the previous management flat out would not do.<\/p>\n

Predictably, it failed. Musk noticed this and mocked it for its flip-flopping. He responded to the CBS News PR tweet with an emoji that was laughing while covering its mouth with a hand. <\/b><\/p>\n

Elon Musk is working to clean up a decade\u2019s worth of crap that is Twitter. He\u2019s also tearing down Twitter as a progressive \u201cSafe Space\u201d where only those who follow the \u201cTrue Progressive Way\u201d is allowed to speak.<\/p>\n

The Left is enraged that it can no longer control the flow of information on Twitter. It hates relinquishing power and will do everything it possibly can to try to sabotage Musk. But he showed what happens when people don’t resist left-wing bullying attempts. He didn’t let its nonsense affect his actions. <\/b><\/p>\n

Musk is something you don\u2019t see to much in business these days. Someone who knows exactly what he wants to do, has the resources to do it, and don\u2019t care what other might think about it. He won\u2019t be cowed by a screaming bunch of drooling crybabies who are demanding that he do what they want. Musk just looks at them jumping up and down, throwing a temper tantrum and announcing they are going to leave twitter \u201cForever!\u201d and then he goes back to work. He knows that most of these pathetic fools are all hat and no cattle.<\/p>\n

CBS News made a fool of itself. The situation exemplifies why no one should ever back down from the Left. We must meet all confrontations and challenges from them with courage and determination. <\/b><\/p>\n

It will be interesting to see what Twitter looks like a year from now. Musk has been getting rid of the dead wood and useless mouths. First he laid off half the work force, and I use the term \u201cWork\u201d loosely, (Much as the former employees did), then he announced that he wanted only people who were ready to put the shoulder to the wheel. That drove out another group of layabouts. There were also one or two idiots who made public demands. Musk simply fired them.<\/p>\n

Liberals are in shock now. They can\u2019t believe that this is happening to them. Many of them held jobs that, to be blunt, were useless and did nothing to help the bottom line. I have read that prior to the Musk wielded chain saw, there were something like 10 managers for each actual producer. Now Twitter has an actual chance to make money, and we have the chance to watch more Liberal heads go pop!<\/p>\n
