Good day all. Last week, the Fascist Totalitarian government of the state of Illinois passed a law that outlaws the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment. One of the responses was from a large number of Illinois county Sheriffs. They have stated that they will not enforce the law since it\u2019s so blatantly unconstitutional.<\/p>\n

The new law basically bans the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment. (A bit of hyperbole, but not much). Part of the law is mass registration of rifles and pistols that the state government has now outlawed. This is a first step in flat out confiscation of course, and will do nothing but further empower the criminal element and render law abiding citizens defenseless. The local sheriffs know this and have told the governor to go pound sand. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

More than six dozen Illinois sheriffs<\/a> have vowed to defy a gun-control law signed by Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker that bans semiautomatic rifles.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Part of my duties that I accepted upon being sworn into office was to protect the rights provided to all of us, in the Constitution,” Edwards County Sheriff Darby Boewe said in a Facebook post.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

“One of those rights enumerated is the right of the people to KEEP and BEAR ARMS provided under the 2nd Amendment. The right to keep and bear arms for defense of life, liberty and property is regarded as an inalienable right by the people.” <\/b><\/p>\n

Boewe is one of at least 74 sheriff offices that have posted statements in opposition of the law, according to ABC News. <\/b><\/p>\n

I did a quick count using a web site listing the counties<\/a> in Illinois, and if my figures are correct, (A questionable thing, considering my known issues with transposing numbers), that is more then half the sheriffs in the state. This is a major issue for the Democrats of course, and that Fat Fascist Govno, J.B. Pritzker has started threatening them. According to Townhall<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

This week, Democrat Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker threatened to fire police officers in the state who do not enforce a newly-enacted gun control law that outlaws sporting rifles and other so-called \u201cassault weapons\u201d and \u201crapid firing devices.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

“The fact that, yes, there are people who are trying to politically grand stand who want to make a name for themselves by claiming that they will not comply. But the reality is that the state police is responsible for enforcement, as are all law enforcement…and they will in fact do their job or they won\u2019t be in their job,\u201d Pritzker said during a press conference on Tuesday. <\/b><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know the laws of Illinois of course, however, I\u2019m assuming that county sheriffs are elected by the county voters. It\u2019s going to be very tough to remove them from their positions. It will also backfire badly. One of the problems with Illinois is that they way things are set up, it\u2019s the northern areas around Chicago that run the state. Those politicians have a history of ignoring whatever the people in the southern sections of the state want and this looks like yet another case of Democrats saying \u201cShut up and do as we tell you serfs or else.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new law bans standard capacity magazines, most semiautomatic rifles and firearms using .50 projectiles. (I\u2019m not sure if they\u2019re talking about .50 caliber BMG rounds, .50 Smith&Wesson pistol cartridges or the .50 projectiles a lot of hunters use in muzzle loading black powder firearms. Considering the stupidity of most Liberals, they probably just said \u201c50 Caliber\u201d and left it at that. Returning to the Fox News story<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

There are at least 102 sheriff’s offices in the state of Illinois. The 74 offices vowing to defy the new law will affect roughly 30% of residents in the state, according to ABC News. <\/b><\/p>\n

Cook County, the state\u2019s most populous county that is home to about 40% of the entire Illinois population, has not spoken out against the law. <\/b><\/p>\n

Cook County is the major source of most of Illinois\u2019s problems. That is where Chicago is, (Home of Mayor Beetlejuice), and where a significant amount of the reported crime in the United States is generated. Mayor Beetlejuice\u2019s answer to the crime problem in Chicago is to punish the law abiding and protect the criminals.<\/p>\n

Pritzker said during an interview on MSNBC last week that sheriffs opposing the law are taking part in “political grandstanding.” <\/b><\/p>\n

“It\u2019s our state police and law enforcement across the state that will, in fact, enforce this law, and these outlier sheriffs will comply or, frankly, they\u2019ll have to answer to the voters,” Pritzker said. <\/b><\/p>\n

A few things here fatso. First, the voters support the sheriffs, not you. Second, the court challenges are already being prepared and your shiny new law will be thrown out. Third, regarding your statement that they must enforce this law, you might want to recall that in Germany back in the 23\u2019s and 40\u2019s, it was perfectly legal to murder Jewish men, women and children. Of course, since the only difference between the modern Democrat party and the Nazi party is body count, I can see why this historical detail would slip past you.<\/p>\n

I am sad to say we are seeing the fracturing of the United States, and it has been the Progressive Liberal Totalitarian Democrats that have been pushing things along for decades. Now they are moving to their final phases in their quest to destroy the greatest nation on Earth and that requires a disarmed civilian population. Does this sound like tin foil hat territory? I both wish and hope it it is, but recent history of \u201cConspiracy Theories\u201d doesn\u2019t hold much hope that it is all crazy talk<\/p>\n

Well, it will be in the hands of the courts shortly along with a few other cases from other states. Who knows how this will work out now that we have the Bruen decision. It might just hit the Supreme Court again and they decide to end the question once and for all and rule all measures to block the private ownership of firearms for law abiding citizens is unconstitutional. One can only hope.<\/p>\n
