Recently, the city council of Washington passed a bill that lowered penalties for a number of felonies, such as carjackings and burglaries. In moment of common sense, the Mayor of the city vetoed the bill. However, the city council, most of whom should be in prison, overrode her veto.<\/p>\n
This led to the Republicans to pass a bill in both the House and Senate, (There were a number of Democrats who crossed over and voted for it apparently), and sent the bill to Mush for Brains Biden. He had announced he was going to veto the bill, and since here weren\u2019t the votes to override his veto, the bill would die, followed soon after by all of the victims of the crime wave unleashed by the city council.<\/p>\n
However, for some reason, Dementia Joe Biden changed what passes for his mind and will sign the bill. This has driven the soft on crime Progressives off the deep end. They feel that they have been betrayed and are not happy about it. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Multiple House Democrats have expressed anger and frustration over President Biden\u2019s <\/b>decision to sign a resolution<\/b><\/u><\/a> ending a Washington, D.C., crime bill, after they were led to believe he would veto the resolution and protect the bill. <\/b><\/p>\n According to The Hill, some of these Democratic Party lawmakers are so outraged over Biden\u2019s decision that they\u2019ve resorted to blasting the White House in expletive-laden epithets. One told the outlet that this is “F—ING AMATEUR HOUR.” <\/b><\/p>\n The same lawmaker claimed that the White House “f—ed this up royally.” Others said Biden’s decision was “disappointing.” <\/b><\/p>\n The Democrats who are blowing up over this are also ones who have their own security details and live in secured buildings. They aren\u2019t at all concerned about the crime rate or what happens to \u201cThe little people\u201d in DC or anywhere else that they have thrown the honest citizens to the wolves.<\/p>\n The outlet reported that Biden announced his decision “to Senate Democrats during lunch on Thursday.” It came as a shock to 173 House Democrats who voted for the bill in accordance with their belief that Biden was planning to veto the resolution, not sign it.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n That sounds like all the Democrats who \u201cVoted to protect honest people from criminals\u201d were just showboating. They only voted to pass the bill because they though that the \u201cFix was in\u201d and that Bumbles Dementia was going to veto it, giving them talking points while also protecting their new base, felons, convicts, pedophiles, rapists, murderers and thieves.<\/p>\n After Biden made his announcement to support the resolution during lunch, he tweeted, “I support D.C. Statehood and home-rule \u2013 but I don\u2019t support some of the changes D.C. Council put forward over the Mayor\u2019s objections \u2013 such as <\/b>lowering penalties for carjackings<\/b><\/u><\/a>. If the Senate votes to overturn what D.C. Council did \u2013 I\u2019ll sign it.” <\/b><\/p>\n First, it is not constitutionally possible to make Washington D.C. into a state. If Congress were to make Washington D.C. into a state, the Capitol would have to move somewhere else.<\/p>\n The Congress shall have Power To\u2026 exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such Dis\u00adtrict (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Con\u00adgress, become the Seat of the Gov\u00adernment of the United States\u2026 (The U.S. Constitution, Article I, Section 8, Clause 17<\/a>)<\/em> <\/b><\/p>\n That is a post for another day. The other reason is that someone might have figured out that if people couldn\u2019t rely on the \u201csystem\u201d to protect them and provide justice, they would decide that they would need to take matters into their own hands and form \u201cVigilance Committees.<\/a>\u201d We haven\u2019t needed, or seen Vigilantes in the United States in well over a century. We\u2019re already seeing a massive increase in gun ownership, as people in certain parts of the country are finally coming to the conclusion that, when it comes to crime, the Democrats don\u2019t care about them and they\u2019re on their own.<\/p>\n According to Democrats in Congress, the president\u2019s decision went contrary to what House Democratic leadership told them was going to happen. This angered many and drew sharp rebukes from multiple lawmakers. <\/b><\/p>\n One particularly frustrated anonymous congressman gave an expletive-laden statement to The Hill via text message. The lawmaker said, “The White House f—ed this up royally.”<\/b><\/p>\n He added, “So a lot of us who are allies voted no in order to support what the White House wanted. And now we are being hung out to dry.” In all caps, he declared, “F—ING AMATEUR HOUR. HEADS SHOULD ROLL OVER AT THE WHITE HOUSE OVER THIS.” <\/b><\/p>\n That same Democrat noted that his colleagues are “EXTREMELY pissed” about Biden\u2019s decision. <\/b><\/p>\n Notice how this Tool is making these comments anonymously? I have a sneaking suspension that if his constituents found out that he was playing games, they would become his former constituents during the next election cycle.<\/p>\n During a news event, Rep. Pete Aguilar, D-Calif., called Biden\u2019s decision “disappointing.” He said, “It\u2019s disappointing for me and anybody who believes in home rule, honestly. I\u2019m a former mayor of a city of 70,000, and I wouldn\u2019t want the federal government coming in and telling me what city ordinances to pass.” <\/b><\/p>\n This communist might want to reread that document he holds in utter contempt, the Constitution of the United States. The Federal government has the final say over anything in the District of Columbia. That they\u2019ve delegated some authority doesn\u2019t take away from the fact that the Congress and President can and do override the city government when they do something stupid.<\/p>\n As to the real reason President* Bumbles Dementia Biden is not going to veto the bill as the Democrat expected, I have a feeling that someone on his staff, in a moment of rare clarity, understood how bad the optics would be if that moron did veto it. The crime rate in Washington is already skyrocketing and tourists are going to stay away. It won\u2019t help matters when all the lobbyists who shovel cash into the Democrats pockets start getting mugged, raped and murdered.<\/p>\n Even the Chinese Communists might decide that it isn\u2019t safe to walk about with brief cases full of \u201cCampaign Contributions\u201d with 10% for the Big Guy, if they risk getting shot and robbed by the Democrats new constituencies. They might decide to review their \u201cDonations.\u201d After all, for the Democrats, (And a few TransRepublican Globalists) it\u2019s always \u201cAll About the Mao\u2019s.<\/a>\u201d (It used to be all about the Benjamins, but they\u2019ve been wrecking the dollar for decades)<\/p>\n I have little doubt that the Democrats screaming to high heaven about this are not thinking about all the political ammunition they\u2019re providing the Republicans in the next election cycle. (Forward thinking, along with logical thinking is not a strong point with Progressives, Liberals and Democrats) I suspect that the Republicans are already getting the campaign ads prepared.
