As usual, this has turned out to be another flat out lie from the most incompetent and corrupt President* in American History. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n The Biden administration involved itself in the raid of former President Donald Trump’s<\/a> Mar-a-Lago home despite reports that its officials were “stunned” to find out about the news on social media, according to the group America First Legal, which obtained internal government documents related to the raid through a Freedom of Information Act request. <\/b><\/p>\n “The evidence further suggests that Biden officials in the Executive Office of the President and the Department of Justice unlawfully abused their power and then lied about it to the American people,” said Reed D. Rubinstein, America First Legal senior counselor and director of oversight and investigations, in a post on social media Tuesday. “This government, it seems, acknowledges no limits on its power to harass, intimidate, and silence its political opponents.” <\/b><\/p>\n Once again we see the Biden Maladministration, along with the Democrat Party showing their utter contempt for the Constitution, the Rule of Law and the United States of America. The White house, once again, flat out lied.<\/p>\n Rubinstein’s comments come after a Freedom of Information Act request by America First Legal found the FBI initially obtained access to Trump records through a “special access request” from the Biden White House.\u00a0<\/a> <\/b><\/p>\n The new information confirms Fox News reporting from August, when NARA acting head Debra Wall wrote a letter to Trump’s attorney alluding to the administration’s involvement. <\/b><\/p>\n Just to refresh your memories, NARA is the National Archives. They had been talking with President Trump regarding the documents he had. Even though President Trump and his people had been shipping documents to the archives, it wasn\u2019t fast enough for them so they sicced the Doj and FBI on them.<\/p>\n Records show that John Laster, “the Archives\u2019 official responsible for administering all access requests for Presidential records,” was involved in the request despite the Archives\u2019 previously claiming it had “not been involved in the DOJ investigation.” <\/b><\/p>\n “On October 25, 2022, Acting Archivist Wall wrote to then-Ranking Members James Comer and Jim Jordan, claiming \u2018NARA received the 15 boxes from President Trump on January 18, 2022, and then discovered that they contained classified national security information. Shortly after the discovery, NARA consulted with its Office of Inspector General (OIG), which operates independently of NARA. As DOJ has disclosed publicly in court filings, NARA\u2019s OIG subsequently referred the matter to DOJ on February 9, 2022,\u2019” America First Legal wrote. <\/b><\/p>\n “If the OIG acted independently in making a referral to the FBI, then Mr. Laster would not have involved himself in the FBI\u2019s review of the 15 boxes in his capacity as the Director of the White House Liaison Division \u2018responsible for all access requests for Presidential records.\u2019” <\/b><\/p>\n Now, if allegedly classified documents were handed over to the Archives, and recall that as President, Donald Trump had absolute authority to declassify anything, then the there are many ways to handle this. Sending in an FBI raid team is not one of them. Of course, this is the Biden Maladministration, and as far as they\u2019re concerned, the rules don\u2019t apply to them. For them, all that matters is Getting Trump and everyone who works for or is otherwise associated with the Greatest President of the 21st<\/sup> Century.<\/p>\n According to America First Legal, the special access statute “authorizes special access requests to an incumbent president\u00a0only\u00a0when the records in question are needed for \u2018the conduct of current business\u2019 of the White House.” <\/b><\/p>\n “Providing documents to the DOJ for purposes of a criminal investigation is not the \u2018current business\u2019 of the White House,” the organization said. <\/b><\/p>\n It is when the purpose is to \u201cGet Trump!\u201d<\/p>\n “NARA informed <\/b>the Department of Justice<\/b><\/u><\/a> about that discovery, which prompted the Department to ask the President to request that NARA provide the FBI with access to the boxes at issue so that the FBI and others in the Intelligence Community could examine them,” Wall wrote. <\/b><\/p>\n “The Counsel to the President has informed me that, in light of the particular circumstances presented here, President Biden defers to my determination, in consultation with the Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel, regarding whether or not I should uphold the former President\u2019s purported \u2018protective assertion of executive privilege.” <\/b><\/p>\n Now, as to whether or not Dementia Joe Biden personally looked into this or not, I can\u2019t say. I suspect he was involved, or at least in the meetings. I doubt he would remember them of course.
