Good day all. Since the Greatest president of the 21st<\/sup> Century, Donald Trump, was able to flip control of the Supreme Court away from the Progressives and back to justices who actually uphold the Constitution, The Democrats have been going absolutely apeshit. The final straw was replacing Ruth Bader-Ginsburg with Amy Barrett.<\/p>\n

With control firmly in the hands of the \u201cStrict Constructionists,\u201d the Supreme Court has been revisiting a number of decisions that, frankly, were garbage, and overturning them. One of these was the Roe verses Wade decision, which returned the whole matter to the States.<\/p>\n

Since then the Democrats in the Senate have been talking about packing the court with, basically, people who will put politics over the Constitution and basically wreck the Constitution. The idea of packing the courts is going over like a solid lead balloon, and isn\u2019t going to happen. Now the Democrats are trying to impose their idea of ethics on the court. The Supreme Court just responded with a unanimous statement that they will not comply. Here are the details from the Daily Wire<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

All nine Supreme Court Justices issued a statement late last week pushing back on attempts from Senate Democrats to implement new ethics oversight measures over the nation\u2019s highest court which comes after the political Left has tried to generate controversy surrounding three conservative justices in recent weeks. <\/b><\/p>\n

The statement from the justices also included a letter from Chief Justice John Roberts to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Richard Durbin (D-IL) saying that he will not attend a hearing that Senate Democrats want to hold. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cTestimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee by the Chief Justice of the United States is exceedingly rare, as one might expect in light of separation of powers concerns and the importance of preserving judicial independence,\u201d Roberts said<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

This is something the Democrats refuse to accept. The Legislative branch, (Congress), the Administrative branch, (The president), and the Judicial branch are separate, co-equal branches of the government. The Court can not instruct the legislative branch on how to handle their internal affairs unless there is a violation of the Constitution involved. The same goes for the legislative and administrative branches. They can not tell the courts who they should rule.<\/p>\n

The statement from the nine justices said that they wrote it to \u201cprovide new clarity to the bar and to the public on how the Justices address certain recurring issues, and also seeks to dispel some common misconceptions.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

The letter then laid out how justices deal with a variety of issues that they face some of which have been included in recent left-wing attacks on Justices Roberts, Clarence Thomas, and Neil Gorsuch. <\/b><\/p>\n

The Associated Press reported<\/a> that the apparent message contained in the unanimous letter from the justices \u201cthough not expressly stated, is that the court unanimously rejects legislation proposed by Democrats seeking to impose on the justices the same ethics obligations applied to all other federal judges.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

That is a polite way of telling the Senate to go take a flying fu** at a rolling doughnut. What must really frost the Progressives french fries is that Ketanji Brown Jackson, who is not one of the brighter members of the court, agreed with all the others. She was put on the bench to rule in favor of the Democrat\u2019s agenda even if it isn\u2019t constitutional. The letter also mentioned the threats the justices have been receiving.<\/p>\n

The letter also addressed recent threats against justices, which reached a fever pitch last year when a leftist reportedly<\/a> attempted to assassinate up to 3 conservative justices. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cA word is necessary concerning security. Judges at all levels face increased threats to personal safety,\u201d the letter said. \u201cThese threats are magnified with respect to Members of the Supreme Court, given the higher profile of the matters they address. Recent episodes confirm that such dangers are not merely hypothetical. Security issues are addressed by the Supreme Court Police, United States Marshals, state and local law enforcement, and other authorities. Matters considered here concerning issues such as travel, accommodations, and disclosure may at times have to take into account security guidance.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

When the leak regarding the Roe v. Wade decision came out, the left began picketing the conservative justices homes, and they weren\u2019t very polite. They were threatening the justices and their neighbors were concerned that these moonbats might actually try breaking into their homes and lynching them. We now know that, in violation of federal statutes, Attorney General Garland told the Marshals not to make any arrests, even though it was obvious that laws were being broken.<\/p>\n

As I recall, when the Republicans started putting forward legislation to protect the justices, the Democrats refused and shot it down. Now they aren\u2019t even trying to hide what they intend. It\u2019s flat out intimidation of the court because the progressives aren\u2019t getting what they want any longer with regards to various rulings.<\/p>\n

This attempt to force their ideas of ethics, which I find to be a laugh riot considering the complete lack of ethics of the Democrat party, isn\u2019t going to work. Now they are finding out, much to their surprise, that the justices they thought were \u201cTheir property\u201d aren\u2019t going to help them in their goal of gutting the court. I expect them to go even further off the deep end.<\/p>\n
