At the top of the list is the interest on the debt, National Defense and then other things required by the Constitution. What they can\u2019t spend money on is all the drek, dross and garbage the tax fattened hyenas usually waste money on.<\/p>\n

There has been an impasse between Congress and the maladministration. Mush for Brains Biden and his handlers basically want the debt ceiling open ended and with no spending cuts. This will allow them to continue looting the treasury. The Republicans in the House and a fair number in the Senate have finally understood that the United States is basically broke and that we need to completely overhaul the entire system.<\/p>\n

It appears that clearer heads, (Which leaves Biden out), have prevailed and McCarthy will be meeting with Biden about the financial issues. Here are some of the details from CNN<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has accepted an invitation<\/a> to meet with President Joe Biden on May 9 about the debt ceiling, according to a source familiar, setting the stage for a high-stakes moment in the debt ceiling standoff. <\/b>Biden invited all four Congressional leaders to the meeting. <\/b><\/p>\n I\u2019m assuming that this means McCarthy, Jeffries, Schumer and McConnell. Jeffries, who replaced San Fran Nan, is basically a communist. Schumer is only interested in things that help Charles Schumer, McConnell is a Deep State RINO who\u2019s only concern is his personal position and power, and McCarthy who is actually taking the lead, since he\u2019s developing a technique for herding cats.<\/p>\n Biden\u2019s calls came after Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen notified lawmakers on Monday that the US could default on its debt by June 1. <\/b><\/p>\n Yellen the Felon is continuing her career of being an absolute incompetent who has managed to fail upward. While I\u2019ve already said that defaulting is not likely to happen, provided the Federal Government handles things responsibly, Yellen is stupid enough to screw this up and actually trigger the default she\u2019s been saying will happen.<\/p>\n One of the problems with all this has been, as usual, Joe Biden. He hasn\u2019t met with McCarthy since last winter. Of course, he also doesn\u2019t think, when he does think, which is an ever increasing rarity, that he is answerable to anyone and he can do whatever he wants. I suspect someone finally told him to shut up and do as he\u2019s told.<\/p>\n The House passed a package to raise the debt ceiling by $1.5 trillion last week. The bill<\/a> \u2013 which includes spending cuts, beefed-up work requirements in safety net programs and other measures that Democrats would not accept \u2013 has been described by Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer as \u201cdead on arrival\u201d in the Senate. <\/b><\/p>\n Schumer is a crook, pure and simple. He is and always has been a lying vicious little weasel who has contempt for anyone who stands in his way. He has been backing Dementia Joe\u2019s rambling refusals to talk to the Republicans. Now Biden pulled the rug out from under him and agreed to meet with McCarthy.<\/p>\n Following the bill\u2019s passage in the House, Biden told reporters he would be \u201chappy to meet with McCarthy, but not on whether or not the debt limit gets extended.\u201d The White House has maintained that the president would only accept a clean proposal to raise the nation\u2019s borrowing limit. <\/b><\/p>\n A \u201cClean\u201d proposal means that all it does is allow the Federal Government to borrow more money and nothing else. Considering how previous \u201cClean\u201d increases have worked, there is no way the \u201cDeplorable Ultra MAGA Republicans in the house will let it go through. Now the brain dead psychopath is saying he will not negotiate with regards to the debt ceiling. But on Tuesday, he also prodded Biden to be more flexible. He said Biden has a choice: Accept the bill passed by House of Representatives Republicans or negotiate a deal with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.<\/strong><\/p>\n And now you can see the problem. Biden has never been a deal maker. He\u2019s just been a third rate party hack who was limited in the damage he could do. Now he has been installed into the White House and thinks he\u2019s the smartest person in the room. That is the problem of course. Biden is not the smartest person in the room, even when he\u2019s alone.
