I hate spam. I hate the electronic version, I hate the allegedly edible version and I hate the paper version.\u00a0This little diatribe is about the electronic version. We can talk about the alleged food product another day.<\/p>\n

As the Anger Central systems administrator I have to talk care of the mail system. This means dealing with spam. We have very good spam filters, but the sheer volume of late is a bit\u00a0overwhelming. It used to be I would need to go into the filter bin and clean it out ever week or two. Now, it’s up to every day.<\/p>\n

I’m talking about megabytes of Viagra ads, Male enhancement ads, Meet Russian ladies ads, and our perennial favorite, the Nigerian 419 messages. You know the ones. Some clown sends you an email asking for your help in getting $25 million dollars out of Iraq, Africa, etc. I generally let 419eaters.com<\/a> handle those.<\/p>\n

No, what I want to do is take the idiots who think Anger Central wants to sell Viagra substitute and castrate them. (Then they won’t need Viagra) *evil maniacal laugh*<\/p>\n

In the olden days of dial up, I used to take the time to track down these scum and vermin and get their accounts yanked. The all time\u00a0sleaze bag, Sanford Wallace<\/a> used to send out megatons of garbage and still dabbles in it apparently. He’s a piker compared to the borshtbots\u00a0coming\u00a0out of Russia.<\/p>\n

Nowadays, I just don’t have the time to do so, and with so many overseas, it isn’t worth the effort. I leave it up to others to rip these muttonheads a new one.<\/p>\n
