Good day all. The collapse of the Southern border and the wave after wave of invading criminal aliens has stretched the resources of cities and states to the breaking point. Now, New York is about to throw homeless veterans out into the streets in favor of Illegal Aliens.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n Needless to say, this is so wrong it isn\u2019t even funny. People have had it with the maladministration and a number of Sanctuary Cities putting the criminals ahead of their citizens and lawful resident aliens. Now New York is about to shaft those who gave their all for this country. Here are the details from the New York Post<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Nearly two dozen struggling homeless veterans have been booted from upstate hotels to make room for migrants,<\/a> says a nonprofit group that works with the vets. <\/b><\/p>\n The ex-military \u2014 including a 24-year-old man in desperate need of help after serving in Afghanistan \u2014 were told by the hotels at the beginning of the week that their temporary housing was getting pulled out from under them at the establishments and that they\u2019d have to move on to another spot, according to the group and a sickened local pol. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cOur veterans have been placed in another hotel <\/b>due to what\u2019s going on <\/b><\/a>with the immigrants,\u2019\u2019 said Sharon Toney-Finch, the CEO of the Yerik Israel Toney Foundation. <\/b><\/p>\n Toney-Finch, a disabled military veteran, created YIT to raise awareness of premature births, as well as helping the homeless and low-income military service veterans in need of living assistance. <\/b><\/p>\n In short, this is what is called a Non-Governmental Organization, or NGO. In the \u201cOlden Days\u201d they would be called a private charity. They also, unlike the bureaucrats and political hacks, know how to get things done, and that\u2019s what\u2019s happening.<\/p>\n \u201cOne of the vets called me on Sunday,\u2019\u2019 she said. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cHe told me he had to leave because the hotel said the extended stay is not available. Then I got another call. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cWe didn\u2019t waste any time,\u2019\u2019 the advocate said. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s when we started on Monday to organize when and where to move them all. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cI am glad you called me today,\u2019\u2019 she told The Post. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cLast night, I was crying.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n Reading through the story it looks like this is being caused by the \u201cUsual suspects,\u201d at the federal, state and local levels. Just like Afghanistan, where that crooked, senile pedophile bravely ran away and abandoned hundreds to thousands of Americans to the tender mercies of the Taliban.<\/p>\n Toney-Finch said 15 of the veterans got the heave-ho from the Crossroads Hotel in Newburgh about 60 miles north of New York City in Orange County \u2014 a new epicenter of Big Apple\u2019s migrant crisis <\/a>since Mayor Eric Adams began bussing Gotham\u2019s overflow there against local officials\u2019 wishes<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n Do you know what the answer to this is, at least for the local officials? Send them right back to New York City and dump them right in front of Adam\u2019s home.<\/p>\n Toney-Finch said the veterans had originally been set to temporarily stay at the three hotels for up to four weeks, till permanent housing for them could be found. The vets were about two weeks into their hotel stays when they got the boot, she said. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cNow we have to work from ground zero. We just lost that trust [with the vets],\u201d the organizer said. <\/b><\/p>\n I don\u2019t blame the charity, it\u2019s obvious they were caught by surprise just like the people they are helping. I blame the A.W.F.U.L. (Alcoholic, (Or Angry if they don\u2019t drink), White Female Urban Liberal), Govno Hochul, who is the apparent cause of this mess. While looking up the correct spelling of her name I ran across this gem in Politico<\/a>. It looks like she signed an executive order to house the criminal aliens in hotels that were being used to house the homeless Veterans.<\/p>\n State Assemblyman Brian Maher, a Republican who helps rep Orange County, said, \u201cShining a light on this is important because we need to make sure these hotels know how important it is to respect the service of our veterans before they kick [them] out of hotels to make room.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cThey really ought to think about the impact on these people already going through a traumatic time,\u2019\u2019 he told The Post. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cWhether you agree with asylum-seekers being here or not, we can\u2019t just ignore these veterans that are in our charge that we are supposed to protect: the New Yorkers and Americans.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n First mistake here is that these criminals are not asylum seekers. Oh they do claim that since it\u2019s an automatic release into the United States. Almost none of they qualify for asylum, but the idea, provided by those who want to see open borders and the end of the United States, (George Soros), is to have illegals claim they are seeking asylum to prevent them from being summarily booted out of the country.<\/p>\n Thanks to the Biden maladministration, the United States is beginning to turn on itself in a dangerous way. The original \u201cPlan\u201d was to swamp the Red States, such as Texas with illegals with the eventual idea of making them Democrat Voters. Then the Red States started fighting back and shipping the criminals to the Progressive \u201cSanctuary\u201d cities and states. Now that those places have to \u201cPut up or shut up\u201d as it were and they are now trying to dump the criminals on other locations.<\/p>\n Adams began bussing migrants flooding the city to The Crossroads on Thursday \u2014 hours before a key federal immigration-rule change was set to take effect and feared to increase the influx even more. <\/b>Hizzoner\u2019s move spurred a vicious war of words between Adams and officials in Orange and neighboring Rockland County, where the mayor also has threatened to bus migrants \u2014 till a lawsuit at least temporarily blocked the move<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n It\u2019s now reached the point where locals that are told by the courts to accept these criminals are going to refuse those court orders, or worse, citizens may just take matters into their own hands. Putting illegals ahead of American citizens is not the way to get people to follow the courts.<\/p>\n Maher said it\u2019s outrageous that veterans are getting caught in the crossfire of the migrant crisis. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cFor these people only being there a few weeks, then to be told after having a level of trust developed, \u2018Hey, you have to get out,\u2019 That\u2019s not right,\u2019\u2019 he said. <\/b><\/p>\n We need to help these people, and that is what the Yerik Israel Toney Foundation<\/b><\/a> was trying to do. They were stabbed in the back by the Progressives locally and the Biden Maladministration federally.
