Well, it doesn\u2019t look like the CEO has been kicked in the groin enough. He is still not trying to fix the problems that are in the process of killing his company. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth declined to say if he would allow Bud Light\u2019s disastrous promotion<\/a> with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney to happen again, in hindsight, despite ongoing backlash.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n How hard is to say \u201cYes, in hindsight, this was a really dumb idea and we won\u2019t be making that mistake again.\u201d For this woke CEO, pretty hard it appears.<\/p>\n “It’s been a challenging few weeks. I think the conversation surrounding Bud Light has moved away from beer, and the conversation has become divisive. And Bud Light really doesn’t belong there. Bud Light should be all about bringing people together. And there’s an impact on the business, and I think that’s publicly covered on Bud Light specifically,” Whitworth said Wednesday on “CBS Mornings.” <\/b><\/p>\n Co-host Gayle King then asked Whitworth what the promotional campaign was intended to achieve, but the CEO downplayed the significance and noted it was simply “one can” but the company must evaluate the impact.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n Obviously, this clown has never heard that once something is on the Internet, it stays on the Internet. It isn\u2019t that single can, it was the whole idea of putting mentally ill people who want to harm children ahead of the normal Americans who were, until recently, your primary customers.<\/p>\n “We have to understand the impact that it\u2019s had\u2026 it\u2019s the impact on our employees, the impact on our consumers, and as well the impact on our partners,” he said. “One thing I’d love to make extremely clear is that impact is my responsibility and as the CEO, everything we do here I’m accountable for.” <\/b><\/p>\n Even CBS had issues with that response.<\/p>\n The CBS morning show hosts pointed out that the non-answer is exactly why Bud Light continues to take heat from both sides, as the LGBTQ community would want him to stand by the initial decision but critics want him to admit it was a mistake to celebrate a biological male\u2019s first year of “girlhood.” <\/b><\/p>\n “Bud Light has supported LGBTQ since 1998, so that\u2019s 25 years, and as we\u2019ve said from the beginning, we\u2019ll continue to support the communities and organizations that we\u2019ve supported for decades,” Whitworth said. “But as we move forward, we want to focus on what we do best, which is brewing great beer for everyone, listening to our consumers, being humble in listening to them and making sure we do right by our employees.” <\/b><\/p>\n In 1998 we didn\u2019t have men pretending to be women so they could win in women\u2019s sports or go into women\u2019s locker rooms to flash their junk at women. The few people who were actual transexuals went through years of therapy before going under the knife. Not one of them was under 18.<\/p>\n Many Bud Light consumers have opted to boycott the brand and other Anheuser-Busch products in response to the promotion, prompting a\u00a0decline in sales<\/a>\u00a0that is yet to rebound from the slump that began this spring.\u00a0According to NielsenIQ data provided to FOX Business by Bump Williams Consulting, Bud Light sales are down 11.1% on a dollar basis year-to-date through June 17 and 15.6% on a volume basis through the same period. <\/b><\/p>\n It\u2019s so bad that Transheuser-Busch is paying people to take home a case of horse piss substitute<\/i><\/span> Bud Light.<\/p>\n Whitworth told CBS he has been going around listening to customers who want Bud Light to return to its roots.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n “The feedback is to reinforce what Bud Light has always meant to them, which is good times, good will and easy enjoyment, and we have that all packed inside our summer campaign,” he said. <\/b><\/p>\n From what I\u2019ve been seeing, and writing about<\/a>, Transheuser-Busch\u2019s latest ad campaign, like the other ones they released right after the Dylan Mulvaney debacle, have been failing miserably. The next major sales point is going to be the 4th<\/sup> of July long weekend.<\/p>\n If they blow that as well, then AB InBev may have to look at replacing Brendan Whitworth as CEO and let the new CEO clean out the stalls so to speak. Otherwise, becoming the next Schlitz Brewing company<\/a> isn\u2019t beyond the real of possibility.
