The reason for this is actually very simple. The Democrats love to basically steal money and waste it on their stupid ideas and projects. They particularly like to loot the most successful people and businesses that drive the economies. In response, these people and organizations have pulled up stakes and left. Now the Blue States are discovering what happens when, as Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher once said. \u201cEventually, you run out of other people\u2019s money.\u201d That is what is now happening. Here are the details from the Washington Free Beacon<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Heavily taxed blue states such as New York and California last year had some of the country’s most drastic drops in tax revenue. At the same time, Republican states are enjoying the highest revenue increases even as they keep income taxes low. <\/b><\/p>\n Under Democratic governor Gavin Newsom, California has turned a $100 billion budget surplus into a $32 billion deficit, <\/b>Bloomberg<\/b><\/i> reported<\/a> Friday, forcing the state to trim its “lofty climate change program, delay funding, and increase internal borrowing.” In this year alone, the once-Golden State has seen its tax revenue crater by nearly 25 percent as it hemorrhages wealthy residents to lower-taxed states. <\/b><\/p>\n What is amusing is that Numbnuts Newsom likes to go around to the Republican run \u201cRed\u201d states and tell them how they should be running things. They just look at him, laugh, and continue doing the exact opposite of what he has done. The really funny part is that Newsom thinks he has a shot at being President if he can get rid of Biden and Harris.<\/p>\n New York, which under Democratic governor Kathy Hochul has the highest tax burden<\/a> in the country, saw a similar revenue drop of almost 20 percent. Both California and New York last year saw their populations shrink by about 294,000 residents, <\/b>Bloomberg\u00a0<\/b><\/i>reported. <\/b><\/p>\n People just couldn\u2019t afford to live in either state. They also weren\u2019t the only states to see people leaving.<\/p>\n California and New York aren’t the only blue states with tax problems. Illinois, New Jersey, and Hawaii also reported drops, according to <\/b>Bloomberg<\/b><\/em>, though theirs weren’t nearly as drastic. <\/b><\/p>\n It isn\u2019t just taxes that are causing people to leave of course, although that is a big reason. The Democrat controlled blue states are also, for all intents and purposes, single party dictatorships that have torn up the Constitution. Instead of opening the 4th<\/sup> box of liberty and blowing the heads of the politicians, the voters have elected to vote with their feet and leave.<\/p>\n While California and New York see their tax bases evaporate, Republican states such as Florida and Texas are seeing revenue growth. Florida last year had a 9 percent bump in tax money, while Texas saw a staggering 12 percent increase. Both states “added about 888,000 residents” last year, <\/b>Bloomberg<\/b><\/em> reported. <\/b><\/p>\n One of the problems with all these tax immigrants is that they have a tendency to bring along their politics as well. They are trying to recreate the same mess in their adopted states that they fled from in the first place. However, it appears that most have learned their lessons, except those who move into the local Blue enclaves of course. Even if they are remaining stupid, they are also bringing their money with them and they are in a state that actually handles those fund responsibly.<\/p>\n Florida under DeSantis and Texas under Gov. Greg Abbott now have record-breaking budget surpluses of $21.8 billion and $33 billion, respectively. <\/b><\/p>\n “We make tough choices, and we make sure we look forward to the long haul,” DeSantis said<\/a> in May. <\/b><\/p>\n And that is the difference between the Blue States and the Red States. The Blue States are run by rich elitists who have no grasp on reality. Their decision making is emotion based. Basically, if it feels good it must be good. We\u2019re seeing the results of that now. At the rat things are going, the Blue States are going to hit the wall. (They may already have done so).<\/p>\n They won\u2019t be able to raise taxes any further and will have to make structural changes to their budgeting. I don\u2019t see them being able to do this. Kalifornistan is trying to introduce a wealth tax and an exit tax<\/a>. If you leave the state, they still want all your money.<\/p>\n Look for other Blue states to try and institute the same thing, and watch the court cases explode in number. You will also see people and businesses pull out of the states and cut ties all together.
