This goes back to the very beginning of the Biden Maladministration. We were dealing with the Great Panicdemic caused by the Fauci Bioweapon. Thanks to the Twitter Files, we have proof that the Federal Government was actively censoring people who weren\u2019t following the narratives. We also know that all the so called conspiracy theories were actually true.<\/p>\n
This has led to a whole host of lawsuits including a number of State Attorneys General. Concerned that the Biden Regime would continue violating the rights of people to speak their mind, they filed a lawsuit and as part of it, sought and were granted a temporary injunction. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n A U.S. District Court judge is temporarily preventing White House officials from meeting with tech companies<\/a> about social media censorship, arguing that such actions in the past were likely First Amendment violations. <\/b><\/p>\n The Tuesday injunction by Louisiana Judge Terry A. Doughty was in response to recent lawsuits from Louisiana and Missouri attorneys general. The suits allege that the White House coerced or “significantly encourage[d]” tech companies to suppress free speech during the COVID-19 pandemic. <\/b><\/p>\n Doughty is barring several federal officials and agencies \u2013 including some of Biden’s Cabinet members<\/a> and White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre \u2013 from contacting social media companies in efforts to suppress speech. <\/b>Google, Meta and Twitter were all named in the lawsuits. <\/b><\/p>\n I don\u2019t think that the States are going to have to worry to much about Twitter any longer. Thanks to Elon Musk, and the release of the Twitter Files, we now have hard evidence that the Federal Government was actively suppressing the speech of anyone who opposed the Biden Maladministration.<\/p>\n The injunction, which was obtained by Fox News, states that the government’s actions “likely violate the Free Speech Clause” and that the court “is not persuaded by Defendants\u2019 arguments,” dealing a significant blow to the White House.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n “During the COVID-19 pandemic, a period perhaps best characterized by widespread doubt and uncertainty, the United States Government seems to have assumed a role similar to an Orwellian \u2018Ministry of Truth,\u2019” Doughty wrote. <\/b><\/p>\n “If the allegations made by Plaintiffs are true, the present case arguably involves the most massive attack against free speech in United States\u2019 history,” the injunction adds. “In their attempts to suppress alleged disinformation, the Federal Government, and particularly the Defendants named here, are alleged to have blatantly ignored the First Amendment\u2019s right to free speech.” <\/b><\/p>\n From what I understand, there was some request from the Trump Administration, but I believe they were more concerned with Russian bots. When the Worst, Most Corrupt President* in American History was installed into office by the Deep State, actual censorship with people being deplatformed started.<\/p>\n The injunction also claims that “the censorship alleged in this case almost exclusively targeted conservative speech,”<\/a> but that issues the case raises are “beyond party lines.” <\/b><\/p>\n “Viewpoint discrimination is an especially egregious form of content discrimination,” Doughty\u00a0argued. “The government must abstain from regulating speech when the specific motivating ideology or the perspective of the speaker is the rationale for the restriction.” <\/b><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
