I was recently in Costco, and I noticed the Bud Light stacked up. However, I wasn\u2019t paying any real attention to the price signs since I wouldn\u2019t drown snails with that \u201cliquid.\u201d (It would be considered cruel) However, people have started reporting that Costco is now showing an asterisk on the price signs, and this is an indication that the item will not be restocked once it\u2019s sold out. (Or otherwise disposed of, probably in a hazardous waste site) Here are some of the details from the New York Post<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Speculation that Costco is preparing to empty its shelves of Bud Light<\/a> stirred after what some shoppers call a \u201cstar of death\u201d appeared on cases of the beleaguered beer following its ill-fated tie-up with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.<\/a> <\/b><\/p>\n Social media users shopping at Costco posted images showing an asterisk \u2014 which customers have branded a \u201cstar of death\u201d or \u201cdeath star\u201d \u2014 had appeared on the price display above shelves stacked with cases of Bud Light. <\/b><\/p>\n As I mentioned, I was in Costco the other day, but didn\u2019t notice the Death Star on the signs. Other have apparently.<\/p>\n \u201cIs it just me\u2026Or am I the only one who noticed that Costco has applied their infamous \u201cStar of Death\u201d on Bud Light being sold!\u201d one Twitter user wrote. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cFor those of you who don\u2019t know\u2026 when Costco puts an * buy any item.
