The latest reports I\u2019ve seen indicate that InBev and Transheuser-Busch has lost on the order of $30 billion dollars on the Dylan Mulvaney marketing debacle. Many experts are saying that these losses along with the loss of market share is permanent. At least two companies that make bottles for Transheuser-Busch have laid off staff, and now it\u2019s hitting Transheuser-Busch directly. Here are the details from Fox Business News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n After a controversial partnership with transgender TikTok personality Dylan Mulvaney<\/a> resulted in months of Bud Light\u2019s slumping sales, Anheuser-Busch InBev announced that it laid off hundreds of workers. <\/b><\/p>\n Brendan Whitworth, CEO of Anheuser-Busch, the world\u2019s largest brewer, on Wednesday said the company did not make the decision to cut staff “lightly” but was prioritizing its “future long-term success,” The Wall Street Journal reported. <\/b><\/p>\n “While we never take these decisions lightly, we want to ensure that our organization continues to be set for future long-term success,” Anheuser-Busch said. “These corporate structure changes will enable our teams to focus on what we do best \u2014 brewing great beer<\/a> for everyone.” <\/b><\/p>\n One person who hasn\u2019t been laid off and should be is Brendan Whitworth. He has yet to apologize to what\u2019s left of the Budweiser customer base for pushing that woke agenda down people\u2019s throats.<\/p>\n The cuts come as Bud Light sales fell nearly 30% compared to 2022 amid boycotts after it partnered with the transgender social media influencer. <\/b>Bud Light sent customized cans<\/a> to Mulvaney, who identifies as a female, to celebrate “365 days of girlhood.” <\/b><\/p>\n The \u201cBrilliant idea\u201d to put a mentally ill man on a beer can and use him to celebrate a year of girlhood, hit pretty much everyone who is normal as a sick idea. Besides using a man and calling him a girl, many people subconsciously saw this as \u201cGrooming\u201d children. It was a classic case of Going Woke. Now Transheuser-Busch might be going broke.<\/p>\n “We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people,” Whitworth said in April, as the protests began impacting the company\u2019s bottom line. “We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer.” <\/b><\/p>\n Another problem is that Whitworth is making excuses but isn\u2019t doing the one thing that people want. He refuses to apologize.<\/p>\n In June, Whitworth addressed customers again in a post telling them “we hear you” but did not apologize for the partnership. <\/b><\/p>\n “We recognize that over the last two months, the discussion surrounding our company and Bud Light has moved away from beer, and this has impacted our consumers, our business partners, and our employees.” <\/b><\/p>\n “We are a beer company, and beer is for everyone,” he continued. “As we move forward, we will focus on what we do best \u2014 brewing great beer and earning our place in moments that matter to you.” <\/b><\/p>\n This idiot still isn\u2019t getting it, and this is why the Budweiser brand is worth less then the droppings from a Clydesdale.
