Good day all. Former NIH head Anthony Fauci is the poster child of an out of control bureaucrat. He actions, in my opinion, rise to the levels of sedition and crimes against humanity. We know he lied to the Greatest President of the 21st<\/sup> Century, Donald Trump, and that he was in the tank with Big Pharma.<\/p>\n

It was due to his ignoring direct orders that the gain of function research on the Coronavirus occurred and that it escaped the lab in Wuhan, China. When called on the carpet in front of Congress, it looks like he also lied under oath. Now Senator Rand Paul, who is no friend of Fauci, has referred Fauci to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., has announced an “official criminal referral” to the Department of Justice with regard to Dr. Anthony Fauci.<\/a> <\/b><\/p>\n

Paul pointed to an email from February 2020 in which Fauci detailed a call with British medical researcher Jeremy Farrar, who was director of the Wellcome Trust at the time. According to Fauci, those on the task-force call, including Francis Collins, former director of the National Human Genome Research Institute, and other “highly credible” scientists with expertise in evolutionary biology, expressed concern about the “fact upon viewing the sequences of several isolates of the nCoV, there were mutations in the virus that would be most unusual to have evolved naturally in the bats and that there was a suspicion that this mutation was intentionally inserted.” <\/b><\/p>\n

I remember when this first came out, and there were some scientists who saw what looked like edits in the DNA. These edits could not happen in nature. The results? These scientists were basically destroyed by Fauci and Collins. We know now that they were correct in what they thought they were seeing.<\/p>\n

“The suspicion was heightened by the fact that scientists in Wuhan University are known to have been working on gain-of-function experiments to determine the molecular mechanisms associated with bat viruses adapting to human infection, and the outbreak originated in Wuhan,” Fauci wrote, according to a screenshot of the newly unredacted email<\/a> shared by RealClearPolitics White House reporter Philip Wegmann.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

“This directly contradicts everything he said in committee hearing to me, denying absolutely that they funded any gain of function, and it\u2019s absolutely a lie. That\u2019s why I sent an official criminal referral to the DOJ,” Paul wrote on “X,” formerly known as Twitter,<\/a> on Saturday.<\/b><\/p>\n

Of course, nothing will be done with this referral since the most corrupt Attorney General in American History, Merrick Garland, is the one who will decide to charge Fauci. Garland will ignore this referral while he does everything he can to protect the Biden\u2019s from having to answer for their actual crimes. As for Fauci, he was told lying under oath is not a good idea.<\/p>\n

In July 2021, Paul reminded Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and medical adviser to the president, that lying to Congress is a federal crime, suggesting that the NIAID director had done so with regard to COVID-19 gain-of-function research conducted at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. <\/b><\/p>\n

Senator Rand had Fauci\u2019s number some time ago. He knew that Fauci was not being truthful. Fauci, on the other hand, is a classic bureaucrat. He doesn\u2019t think that the rules he pushes on other people actually apply to him, and that people in congress are just stupid and don\u2019t know anything. He\u2019s not entirely wrong there, but Rand Paul is a definite exception. He\u2019s a doctor who was practicing prior to running for the senate.<\/p>\n

During a heated exchange, Fauci insisted he had “never lied before Congress” during prior testimony in May, telling Paul that “you don’t know what you’re talking about.” Fauci further denied that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded gain-of-function research, despite Paul citing a journal article titled “Discovery of a rich gene pool of bat SARS-related coronaviruses.” <\/b><\/p>\n

Paul, who graduated from Duke University School of Medicine and was a practicing doctor before being elected to Congress, noted how the paper\u2019s author credits the NIH and lists the actual number of the grant given by the NIH. The author took two bat coronavirus spike genes and combined them with SARs-related backbone to create new viruses that are not found in nature,\u00a0and the lab-created viruses were then shown to replicate in humans, Paul said during the July congressional hearing. <\/b><\/p>\n

“Viruses that in nature only infect animals were manipulated in the Wuhan lab to gain the function<\/a> of infecting humans,” he said.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

Fauci continued digging his own virtual grave.<\/p>\n

Fauci said the paper to which Paul referred “was judged by qualified staff up and down the chain as not being gain of function.” <\/b><\/p>\n
