Recently, we\u2019ve seen Chinese \u201cTourists\u201d trying to get on to United States military bases. Now we have another issue. One of Biden\u2019s \u201cGreen\u201d companies is deeply tied to the Chinese Communist party. Here are the details from the Washington Examiner<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n A California<\/a>-based energy company the Biden administration<\/a> greenlit for a Michigan electric vehicle battery plant project has considerable ties to the Chinese Communist Party \u2014 a revelation national security experts and Republicans warn is deeply alarming. <\/b><\/p>\n Gotion Inc. plans to invest $2.4 billion in two EV battery plants in Big Rapids, Michigan with the support of Biden’s Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer<\/a> (D-MI), according<\/a> to multiple reports and<\/a> government press releases. However, the project has come under heightened scrutiny over concerns Gotion is likely a CCP influence operation due to Gotion High-Tech Power Energy, its parent company and controlling owner, being headquartered in Hefei City, China, a Foreign Agents Registration Act filing shows<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n “National Security is a shared burden,” Erin Walsh, who under former President Donald Trump<\/a> served in the National Security Council, as well as Commerce and State Departments, told the <\/b>Washington Examiner<\/b><\/i>. “The dichotomy between interests of the Biden administration and Governor Whitmer versus the protection of the state and our national security is stark. Their unbridled ambition for a green energy transition is not at all grounded in U.S. energy security.” <\/b><\/p>\n The problem with all the \u201cGreen Energy\u201d and \u201cClimate Change\u201d fanatics is just that. They are religious fanatics and are using the government to impose their religion on everyone else. They also don\u2019t give a rats ass about the sovereignty or security of the United States.<\/p>\n Biden and Whitmer’s embrace of Gotion Inc. comes as the GOP grows increasingly frustrated with how Democrats have prioritized China-linked green energy initiatives over fossil fuels<\/a> in order to purportedly fight climate change. <\/strong><\/p>\n One answer is to \u201cFollow the money.\u201d I suspect China bought a few of those Paint by numbers \u201cMasterpieces\u201d done by Hoovernose Biden.<\/p>\n The California company has sought to alleviate any criticism of its U.S. operations, with Gotion’s North American manufacturing vice president Chuck Thelen recently telling <\/b>Politico<\/b><\/i><\/a>, “Rumors that you’ve heard about us bringing communism to North America are just flat-out fear-mongering and really have nothing based in reality.” <\/b><\/p>\n To be honest. China isn\u2019t Communist these days. They\u2019re more like Fascists or National Socialists. The Chinese Communist leadership is still totalitarian. What they do want is to control the world. (They haven\u2019t quite moved to the point of looking for \u201cLebensraum\u201d yet, but they are trying to buy land in other countries such as the United States.<\/p>\n But Gotion High-Tech’s 2022 Chinese-language ESG report shows it formed a CCP branch in 2010 and, in 2014, a CCP committee, the <\/b>Daily Caller<\/b><\/i> reported<\/a>. That same Gotion High-Tech document also described how the Hefei-based firm employs 923 CCP members, including Gotion High-Tech CEO Li Zhen, who is said to be party secretary for the company’s committee, according to the outlet. <\/b><\/p>\n Meanwhile, Gotion High-Tech’s “Articles of Association” declare: “The Company shall set up a Party organization and carry out Party activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Communist Party of China. The Company shall ensure necessary conditions for carrying out Party activities. The secretary of the Party committee shall be the chairman.” <\/b><\/p>\n I do believe that is what we refer to as a \u201cSmoking gun.\u201d Of course the Democrats, being Communist traitors, have no intention of slowing down, let alone stopping these \u201cInvestments.\u201d Michigan Govno Wretched Gretchen Whitmer is all on board with selling out to a potential enemy of the United States.<\/p>\n It’s not merely the fact that Gotion’s U.S. outfit has ties to China that is resulting in scrutiny over its EV initiative, which Whitmer dubbed<\/a> “the biggest ever economic development project in Northern Michigan.” The state’s Appropriations Committee voted 10 to 9 in April to authorize the company to receive $175 million in taxpayer dollars, which came after a public hearing<\/a> that saw locals taking aim at Democrats for, in the words of Big Rapids resident Marjorie Steele, casting aside “community’s pleas to table this vote until some small semblance of due diligence can be performed.” <\/b><\/p>\n The Democrats currently control Michigan and have been quickly undoing all the work the Republicans did to try and pull the state out of it\u2019s economic free fall. They certainly have no intention of listening to anyone who doesn\u2019t toe the Progressive line, which looks to be most of the people in the state.<\/p>\n For Michael Sobolik, senior Indo-Pacific studies fellow at the American Foreign Policy Council think tank, Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act has made the U.S. dependent on China. The $740 billion tax, climate, and healthcare<\/a> spending package was signed into law by the president in 2022 and paved the way for Gotion to qualify for millions of dollars in tax credits. <\/b><\/p>\n “In reality, Chinese companies have exploited the IRA and are setting up shop inside America with taxpayer subsidies,” he told the Washington Examiner<\/i>. “It’s dangerous. America should be reducing our exposure to CCP companies and insulating our supply chains, not making them more exposed to the predations of our primary adversary.” <\/b><\/p>\n That was the whole point. Joe Biden sold out the United States long ago to anyone who would pay him. The Chinese Communists just happened to be the highest bidder. As for Whitmer? She is a typical Progressive Liberal Democrat. Another term would be tyrant.<\/p>\n This week, Whitmer called<\/a> for a “100% clean energy standard,” to purportedly “protect our air and water for future generations while creating jobs, lowering costs, and enhancing reliability, we need to expand domestic energy production.” Part of the governor’s wishlist included a sweeping mandate for energy in the state to be produced from green sources, including solar and wind. <\/b><\/p>\n I wonder how much she\u2019s being paid? These \u201cGreen Energy\u201d systems flat out do not work. Solar? It needs the sun and the energy levels from the sun are finite. (There is this huge filter called the atmosphere and clouds) Wind power? Those windmills simply can\u2019t produce the power needed and isn\u2019t stable. They\u2019re also rather fragile and those blades are not recyclable. But for virtue signalers, pushing this garbage on people makes them feel good.<\/p>\n “There’s a lot of great American companies that would have loved the opportunity, the money, and would have brought jobs to our country, while supporting our way of life,” Matthew Seely, head of the Michigan Conservative Coalition and an ex-2022<\/a> Republican congressional candidate, told the <\/b>Washington Examiner<\/b><\/i>. “Now, we’ve got a company directly tied to the CCP coming into our state.” <\/b><\/p>\n Yep, and with it a huge number of Ministry of State Security agents. Everything Biden and the Democrats have done for the last 60+ years has been designed to destroy the United States while profiting themselves. I\u2019m afraid that the damage done may not be fixable now.
