Good day all. When Elon Musk bought Twitter, (Now called X), and took the company private, it caused a massive case of anal constipation and verb diarrhea among the Progressives, Liberals, Socialists, Democrats and the FBI. This was soon followed by Elon\u2019s changes in how the Verification system worked.<\/p>\n

Originally, getting verified usually meant not being a Conservative, (Unless very well known), and paying a lot of money to someone under the table at Twitter. (Or so rumor has it) Elon Musk changed that and set up a system to verify people and charge $8\/month. ($86 for a year) This also caused rage and screams from the usual suspects.<\/p>\n

Well, after a bit of research and checking the Anger Central Financial Books, (never good on the best of days), I have taken the plunge. Last week I submitted my $86 and went through the verification process and I now have a pretty blue check mark next to my name<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n

There are a few benefits to having the check mark. I can do longer tweets. You are still limited to the 240? character limit, but there is a \u201cMore\u201d link that expands the original tweet. It doesn’t seem to pick up the images in the posts I put up, but I\u2019m still working out the details on how this works.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been looking at how to get a verification on Truth Social<\/a><\/strong>, however they aren\u2019t that forthcoming on the process. I\u2019m not going to bother with Gab or GETTR, especially since they want more money that Elon does for the status.<\/p>\n

The subscription is good for a year. I have not set up an auto-renew option since I don\u2019t know if this is going to be actually worth the money. (It\u2019s not like we make any money from this site. It actually costs us money. Want to help defray our costs? Now that the shameless demand for money is done, I hope that the number of followers actually grows and we see a lot more visits and reposts coming in from Twitter. In the mean time, I need to pick up some TruFuel<\/b><\/a> for the Anger Central Snow Removal Device. That would be a snowblower to those of you who don\u2019t know, or if your name is Greta Thunberg and think snow is just a myth.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s used to remove snow from driveways and sidewalks after a snowstorm. For those of you who don\u2019t know what snow is, it\u2019s white powdery frozen rain that falls from the sky when the temperature drops below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.<\/p>\n

So, now I\u2019m one of the special people. That puts me one up on the New York Slimes. They lost their pretty blue check mark<\/a> when Elon Musk called them out for being nothing more then a Hamas propaganda sheet and not an actual news service.
