Well, it looks like one govno in a deep blue state has finally grown tired of the repeated blows of logic to the head and is ending his states mandates. Here are the details from Fox News:

Democratic Connecticut Gov. Barring some sort of major technological breakthrough, electric cars are a dead end technology. There is also the other problem of charging the damn things. Kalifornistan’s power grid can barely handle the loads it now has.

“Common sense has prevailed,” Connecticut Senate Republican Leader Kevin Kelly said in a statement. “The Governor’s decision to withdraw the regulations is a reasoned approach to address the growing concerns raised by working and middle-class families. Adopting California emission standards which ban the sale of gas-powered cars is a substantial policy shift which must be decided by the General Assembly.”

Since when has any Democrat Govno considered bringing a major change to the legislature? When SWMBO came to the United States, The late Angry Father asked her what was the first thing she noticed.
