Good day all. The illegally appointed Special Counsel, Jack Smith is, among other things, spending huge sums to \u201cGet Trump!\u201d On the other hand, the Special Counsel investigating the Biden Crime Family hasn\u2019t spent anywhere near as much.<\/p>\n

One of the problems in the past when we used to have independent counsels and special prosecutors, was their tendency to treat the taxpayers as money trees. It looks like Jack Smith is no different. Here are the details from the Epoch Times<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Jack Smith, the special counsel leading two investigations\u2014alleged election interference and classified document mishandling\u2014into former President Donald Trump, has spent $9.3 million more than the special counsel investigating President Joe Biden\u2019s alleged document mishandling probe. <\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The sharp difference in spending was disclosed in the Department of Justice\u2019s (DOJ) Special Counsel\u2019s Office (SCO) expense reports\u2014including Mr. Smith\u2019s latest statement of expenditures<\/a> and special counsel Robert Hur\u2019s latest statement of expenditures<\/a>\u2014both of which cover the six month period between April 1, 2023, and Sept. 30, 2023. <\/b><\/p>\n

Earlier expense reports for the two special counsels\u2014Nov. 18, 2022, through March 31, 2023, for Mr. Smith and Jan. 12, 2023, through March 31, 2023, for Mr. Hur\u2014round out the picture. <\/b><\/p>\n

The reports show that Mr. Smith spent $7.3 million in the six months ending Sept. 30, 2023, on his two investigations into President Trump, raising his total expenses to nearly $12.7 million. <\/b><\/p>\n

By comparison, Mr. Hur\u2019s investigation into President Biden\u2019s classified document case cost $2.8 million between April and September of last year. In the previous period between Jan. 12, 2023 (the day of Mr. Hur\u2019s appointment) and March 31, 2023, his office spent around $616,000, bringing the total to roughly $3.4 million. <\/b><\/p>\n

I have to say I\u2019m not surprised at the differences. On the one hand, you have the corrupt, illegally appointed Jack Smith who\u2019s sole mission is to \u201cGet Trump!\u201d by any means necessary. On the other hand you have Robert Hur who\u2019s mission statement is a bit different. His job is to do absolutely nothing that might put Joe Biden into prison.<\/p>\n

Protecting the Biden Crime Family is job number one for the Department of Justice under the most corrupt Attorney General in American History, Merrick Garland. (Garland has, in my opinion surpassed the three AG\u2019s who actually went to jail. Two under Nixon and one under Clinton) Garland has pretty much given Smith a blank check to manufacturing the evidence to \u201cGet Trump!\u201d How much money does it take to pretend to examine records, and generate reports that basically say \u201cNothing to see here.\u201d<\/p>\n

There is currently a hearing regarding the legality of Smith\u2019s appointment. I have not checked Robert Hur\u2019s appointment to see if he\u2019s been through a senate confirmation for another role. (As John Durham went through) If he\u2019s another case of Garland just doing as he pleases, then Hur will be shown the door as well. Perhaps Robert Hur knows this and is trying to save money. He sure isn\u2019t actually doing anything regarding Biden\u2019s theft of classified documents going back to his Senate days.<\/p>\n

This is all arcane budgeting stuff of course. It will take one of the oversight committees to sit down and go through all the records of both investigators to see what they were actually spending money on. I\u2019m not holding my breath on that one.<\/p>\n
