According to NBC news, President Trump won 54.6% to Haley\u2019s 43.2% This includes a large number of independent voters who pulled a Republican ballot. New Hampshire allows voters who are unenrolled in either party to pull a primary ballot from either side, vote and then unenroll afterwards, which is what I did.<\/p>\n
On the Democrat side, Biden won the mostly meaningless primary with a massive write-in campaign after he couldn\u2019t be bothered to actually get his name on the ballot. When I say meaningless, the DNC has stated that delegates from this primary will not be seated so the Democrat votes are worthless.<\/p>\n
Nikki Haley is refusing to face the obvious and has declared that the Race is far from over. According to Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Despite her second loss in a row to Trump<\/a> and polls suggesting the upcoming contests in Nevada and South Carolina, her home state, would produce similar results, Haley vowed to continue campaigning for the Republican nomination. <\/b><\/p>\n “New Hampshire is first in the\u00a0nation.\u00a0It is not the last in the nation. This race is far from over.\u00a0There are dozens of states left\u00a0to go,” Haley told a crowd of supporters gathered at her election watch party in Concord, New Hampshire, after the Fox News Decision Desk called the race for Trump. <\/b><\/p>\n “At one point, in this campaign,\u00a0there were 14 of us running, and we were at 2% in the polls.\u00a0Well, I\u2019m a fighter, and I\u2019m scrappy.\u00a0And now we are the last ones\u00a0standing next to Donald Trump,” she added. <\/b><\/p>\n Nope Nikki, it\u2019s over. People have seen you for the person you really are, and they have decided that no, they don\u2019t want another Establishment GOP Neocon Warmongering RINO beholding to Wall Street.<\/p>\n It’s unclear how the loss could affect Haley’s fundraising, an important factor considering the South Carolina primary is a month away on Feb. 24. <\/b><\/p>\n Considering that she isn\u2019t doing well in the polls in her own state, I expect the money to start drying up fairly soon now. The Republican Party has started to coalesce around him and he is receiving endorsements from most of the party bigwigs. One example of a Senior GOP(e) \u201cLeader\u201d who is withholding his support is Cocaine Mitch \u201cBrainfreeze\u201d McConnell. I suspect he knows his time in leadership ends if\/when President Trump wins reelection.<\/p>\n Following Trump’s sizable win, more big-name Republicans began calling on Haley to drop out of the race, including Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n “Looking at the math and the path going forward, I don’t see it for Nikki Haley,” McDaniel told Fox News. “I think she’s run a great campaign, but I do think there is a message that’s coming out from the voters which is very clear: We need to unite around our eventual nominee, which is going to be Donald Trump, and we need to make sure we beat Joe Biden.” <\/b><\/p>\n “It is 10 months away until the November election, and we can’t wait any longer to put out foot on the gas to beat the worst president, to beat a president that’s kept our borders open, allowed fentanyl to pour through, allowed inflation to go rampant. He is hurting the American people, and we need to do everything we can to unite so that we can defeat him,” she added. <\/b><\/p>\n Now the best thing Ronna McDaniel could do to help President Trump and the Republican Party crush the Democrats in November would be to resign. She has been a complete failure in her position. The Republican Party should have picked up a large number of seats in the House and Senate, instead she pulled support from many candidates who had a good shot at winning. No one in the Republican Base really trusts her.<\/p>\n Now for the turnout. When I went to vote yesterday, it wasn\u2019t busy at all. (Polls opened at 7am and I voted at 8:30am) However, when I looked at the ballot box, the indicator showed that 300+ ballots had been cast. There is no way to know which party of course, just the totals. Apparently, the Republican Party had a record turnout for a primary.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
