There are a myriad of reasons for blacks, Asians and Hispanic\/Latinos to look at switching from the Democrats to the Republicans. For the Democrats, they aren\u2019t considering the reasons. Instead, they are resorting to insults and shame to get these groups to return to the Progressive Liberal Democrat Plantation. One of these people is Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas. Rather then sit down and speak with his constituents, he\u2019s calling them all Nazis. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas<\/a>, in an article published this week, compared Latinos who support former President Trump to “Jews for Hitler” as he discussed GOP outreach in the area, and the remark immediately drew accusations of racism from his Republican challenger in the upcoming election. <\/b><\/p>\n “For [Republicans] to stay in power, even at the state level, they need to convince at least a percentage, even a small percentage, of Latinos to start voting Republican,” Gonzalez, who represents an area that includes some of the Rio Grande Valley in Texas, told The New Republic. “If not, they will eventually lose elections. <\/b><\/p>\n “If they didn\u2019t have that racist, divisive element within their party, they would have a lot of Latinos, but they can\u2019t seem to shake that off. The rhetoric you hear from the Republican Party is shameful and disgraceful for Latinos. And, you know, when you see Latinos for Trump, to me it is like seeing \u2018Jews for Hitler,\u2019 almost, you know?” <\/b><\/p>\n Democrats have accused Republicans of embracing racist rhetoric in their platform of securing the border<\/a> and limiting illegal immigration. But the New Republic article emphasized how Trump could win both Texas and the Rio Grande Valley as he pushes to restore the tougher border security measures seen during his presidency amid a record-setting border crisis. <\/b><\/p>\n Calling Republicans racist is a standard tactic for the Democrats. The problem for them is that it\u2019s not working any longer. The other problem for the Democrats is the border they\u2019ve thrown open to the entire planet. A large majority of Americans, and even larger in the affected border states want the border locked down. People like Gonzalez are the ones who want it unguarded.<\/p>\n “Hispanic voters, especially those living in border communities, know that Democrats are failing them on the border, the economy and community safety. Vicente Gonzalez\u2019s comments are insulting, and he should apologize,” NRCC spokeswoman Delanie Bomar said in a statement. <\/b><\/p>\n He won\u2019t of course. He\u2019s a Democrat and they never apologize when they call their opponents racists. It\u2019s their \u201cGo To\u201d strategy when they\u2019re note doing well in the polls. Now I haven\u2019t followed Gonzales\u2019s reelection and don\u2019t know how things stand down in his district. I do know that the the citizens of Texas are pissed at what the Democrats have done to them.<\/p>\n “Vicente Gonzalez\u2019s racist comments are incredibly hurtful to our entire Latino community in the Rio Grande Valley,” Flores told Fox News Digital. “While he continues peddling in hate and division, I\u2019m going to focus on policies that uplift our entire community, including lower costs, a secure border, safer communities and a focus on faith, family and more opportunities in TX-34.” <\/b><\/p>\n Reached for comment Thursday, Gonzalez stood by his remarks.<\/p>\n “I\u2019m stating the obvious. Mayra Flores champions President Trump, who was quoted calling hard-working Mexican immigrants rapists and criminals \u2014 saying they\u2019re not our friends,” he said. “She threw her lot in with Marjorie Taylor Greene and George Santos instead of with South Texans.” <\/b><\/p>\n The hard working Mexicans are those who come here lawfully. What is coming across the border are criminals, child traffickers, drug smugglers and actual terrorists<\/a>. This clown Gonzales is actively aiding and abetting the invasion of this country by hostiles. When he\u2019s called on it, he insults people by calling them racists.<\/p>\n Well Vinnie, I hate to break it to you, but first, you\u2019re the actual racist, you\u2019re just projecting on others what you are. Second, calling Republicans and Conservatives racists isn\u2019t working anymore. People don\u2019t believe you, they believe their lying eyes.
