Good day all. It\u2019s no secret that the Progressive Liberal Democrats want to confiscate all privately held firearms in the United States. They have been passing one law after another designed to render the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment moot. They have been, if not stopped, then slowed down by the Supreme Court. (Bruen Decision<\/a>)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

One of the stupid ideas the Progressives, and some RINO\u2019s have been pushing are the \u201cRed Flag\u201d laws. Basically, if someone calls the police and says that a person is a danger to himself or others, the police and go in and confiscate all that person\u2019s firearms. There is no recourse. You have to go to court and prove that you are not a danger to yourself or others.<\/p>\n

These red flag laws basically tear up the entire bill of rights. You are presumed guilty until you are proven innocent. You will have your property taken with no compensation, you will not be able to face your accusers, (Anonymous calls are accepted), and of course, kiss your 2nd<\/sup> amendment rights good bye.<\/p>\n

There have been a few instances where red flag laws were activated. I have a memory, (No citations so take this with a grain of salt), that at least one person has been killed by police due to one of these anonymous calls. It turned out that he wasn\u2019t a threat at all.<\/p>\n

Another I am aware of was in Florida where someone got a notice, and when he talked to the police, it was very quickly determined that he wasn\u2019t the one they were after. It was a case of mistaken identity. The police flat out didn\u2019t care and told him if he didn\u2019t turn in his guns they would come down and take them and arrest him.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

There are a number of court challenges underway. I don\u2019t think any have reached the Supreme Court yet. However, the potential ruling throwing these bad laws out hasn\u2019t slowed down the worst, most corrupt administration in American History. Saturday, March 24th<\/sup>, 2024, the Department of (in)Justice announced that they were launching<\/a> the National Extreme Risk Protection Order Resource Center. This center is being set up to provide aid to states and cities to \u201cremove firearms from people who are deemed a threat to themselves and others.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This quickly caught the attention of the Republicans in Congress and they are not at all happy with this. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Vice President Kamala Harris<\/a> will travel to Florida on Saturday where she will tout a Biden administration effort to provide “training and technical assistance” to individuals “responsible for implementing laws designed to keep guns out of the hands of people who pose a threat to themselves or others.” <\/b><\/p>\n

In other words, anyone the Democrats don\u2019t like, which is basically anyone who isn\u2019t a Progressive Liberal Democrat and\/or a Republican\/Trump supporter.<\/p>\n

The new program drew immediate backlash from some Republicans who called the effort a “massive Red Flag Operation.” <\/b><\/p>\n

Well I should hope so!<\/p>\n

The National Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) Resource Center, according to a Saturday Department of Justice press <\/a>release<\/a>, will specifically provide assistance to law enforcement officials, prosecutors, attorneys, judges, clinicians, victim service and social service providers, community organizations and behavioral health professionals. <\/b><\/p>\n

“ERPO laws, which are modeled off domestic violence protection orders, create a civil process allowing law enforcement, family members (in most states), and medical professionals or other groups (in some states) to petition a court to temporarily prohibit someone at risk of harming themselves or others from purchasing and possessing firearms for the duration of the order,” DOJ noted. <\/b><\/p>\n

You will notice that there is nothing to allow the target of these red flag orders to oppose them. There is no hearing and generally the first the target of these orders hears about it is when the police show up demanding their firearms.<\/p>\n

During her visit to Parkland’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where 17 people were killed in a February 2018 mass shooting, Harris is expected to introduce the effort and call “on states to pass red flag laws” and use federal funding to implement existing laws, according to the White House<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

One of the problems with the Parkland shooting wasn\u2019t the lack of a red flag law. It was the flat out cowardice of the Broward County law enforcement community. There is also the issue of laws already in place not being enforced as happened with the recent incident in Maine. The murderer was a reserve soldier and his chain of command saw a problem. They never notified the proper authorities. I believe his command disarmed him. (It\u2019s since been determined that he was suffering from repeated concussions and had brain damage, probably from repeated exposure to explosions)<\/p>\n

Attorney General Merrick Garland said in a statement that the effort will provide “valuable resources” to those seeking to keep firearms out of the hands<\/a> of those deemed a threat to themselves and others. <\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In other words, he wants to go after all those Deplorable Ultra MAGA Trump supporters. After all, they hate Biden, the Democrats and are concerned about the invasion of criminals crossing the border.<\/p>\n

The creation of the resource operation quickly drew the ire of some House Republicans<\/a> who blasted the effort as a “Federal Red Flag center” that the DOJ will use to “violate” the Second Amendment rights of Americans. <\/b><\/p>\n

Not just the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment. It also violates due process, the right to face one\u2019s accusers, the presumption of innocence not to mention being secure in your home and papers. (4th<\/sup>, 5th<\/sup> and 6th<\/sup> Amendments)<\/p>\n

“What the hell is this evil? A Federal Red Flag center; We did not authorize this. Announced, of course, just hours after the omnibus passes,” Kentucky GOP Rep. Thomas Massie wrote in a post to X. <\/b><\/p>\n

Since when has the Biden Maladministration or the Garland Department of (in)Justice cared what Congress wanted?<\/p>\n

“Merrick Garland just announced a massive Red Flag Operation that the DOJ will be running by using EVERY spy tool the US government has in order to violate American\u2019s Second Amendment!! This comes right after Johnson fully funded Biden\u2019s weaponized DOJ!” Greene wrote on X. <\/b><\/p>\n

I\u2019m not that familier with the recent spending bill, but I know that Representative Greene has gone through the roof and is looking to remove Johnson as Speaker of the House. Personally, I don\u2019t think it matters much. I suspect Johnson won\u2019t be speaker in the next Congress.<\/p>\n

The Biden administration has been steadfast in its mission to implement a variety of gun control measures since President Biden took office in 2021. <\/b><\/p>\n

Biden wants all guns confiscated, period. He, or these days his handlers, need the American People disarmed so they can institute their totalitarian plans for the restoration of slavery in the United States. Yes, it\u2019s a conspiracy theory, but why else have the Democrats been so dead set against \u201cThe People\u201d have the means to protect themselves from criminals, foreign attack and their own government? Look at when the NFA was shoved through. Who was president back then? FDR, the first American dictator.<\/p>\n

During the president’s State of the Union<\/a> address earlier this month, Biden called out the National Rifle Association and demanded strict gun control measures, such as banning so-called assault weapons. <\/b><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m proud we beat the NRA when I signed [the] most significant gun safety law in nearly 30 years because of this Congress. We now must beat the NRA again. I\u2019m demanding a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. Pass universal background checks,” <\/b>Biden said at the time<\/b><\/u><\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

That law is going to cost a few RINO\u2019s their seats, or already has forced them step down at the end of the term. Texas Senator John Cornyn, who pushed this, is probably now in his last term. In the House, Representative Tony Gonzales, (23rd<\/sup> District), has been forced into a runoff election against Brandon Herrera, who is a gun manufacturer and YouTube \u201cGuntuber\u201d<\/a> known as the AK Guy. I don\u2019t know the polls down there, but Gonzales has pretty much voted with the Democrats and that bill was the last straw for lot of people.<\/p>\n

“None of this \u2014 none of this \u2014 I taught the Second Amendment<\/a> for 12 years. None of this violates the Second Amendment or vilifies responsible gun owners,” he continued. <\/b><\/p>\n

And here we have another of Biden\u2019s lies. He\u2019s never taught anything about the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment. In fact, if you listened to some of his advice, you would be guilty of multiple felonies. The American People have made their decision with regards to the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment. They are in favor of it as the sales numbers show.<\/p>\n

Nationally, Constitutional Carry, or permitless carry is now the law of the land in 29 states. No matter what Garland and Biden, (Along with the Democrats in general), want, people have rejected gun control for those who don\u2019t break the law. They\u2019ve seen how bad things have become in the Blue cities and what the maladministration has done on the border. They\u2019ve also seen how Biden and Garland have weaponized the legal system to go after their enemies. This National Extreme Risk Protection Order Resource Center is just another tool in their war on the American People.<\/p>\n
