Good day all. Recently, a jury convicted Hannah Gutierrez Reed for involuntary manslaughter in regards to the accidental shooting of Halyna Hutchins and Joel Souza. Hutchins was killed and Souza wounded.<\/p>\n


\nHannah Reed was the armorer on the set and was in charge of all the guns. Somehow, a live round got onto the set and was in the gun that Deadshot Baldwin was given and in a case of violating every safety protocol ever, pointed it at Ms. Hutchins and pulled the trigger.<\/p>\n

With Reed\u2019s conviction, people are now looking at Alec Baldwin. He\u2019s the one that pulled the trigger, (As much as he denies it), and he is the one who didn\u2019t do a safety check after being handed the gun. Now Baldwin\u2019s turn to face a jury is coming up and it isn\u2019t looking good for him. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Hannah Gutierrez Reed’s maximum sentence is “bad news” for Alec Baldwin<\/a>, who heads to court in July for the same charge of involuntary manslaughter in connection to the “Rust” movie set fatal shooting. <\/b><\/p>\n

The “Rust” armorer<\/a> was sentenced to 18 months behind bars after a judge slammed her for not taking responsibility for her actions that a jury found led to the death of the movie’s cinematographer. Halyna Hutchins died Oct. 21, 2021, after a gun that Baldwin was holding discharged. <\/b><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t follow the trial, but I am wondering how the bullet got on to the set.To my knowledge, that hasn’t been determined. She also isn\u2019t the one who pulled the trigger. That was Alec \u201cDeadshot\u201d Baldwin. I\u2019m wondering on both the charges and the sentence. I suspect it will be appealed. As for Baldwin?<\/p>\n

The actor will appear in a New Mexico courtroom on July 9 for his own trial. Baldwin was a producer for the film as well as the lead actor. Gutierrez Reed’s sentencing is an ominous sign of what’s to come for the “30 Rock” star, legal experts told Fox News Digital.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“This is bad news for Alec Baldwin and shows the court is taking this fatal shooting seriously and that it\u2019s not just for show, as his defenders claim,” Los Angeles personal injury attorney Miguel Custodio, co-founder of Custodio and Dubey LLP, told Fox News Digital. “A plea deal would be the best strategy for him right now, considering [Monday’s] sentencing and the information the prosecution has about the chaos on the set and Baldwin\u2019s failure to do anything about it. But I don\u2019t see that happening.” <\/b><\/p>\n

It\u2019s still bad news because any plea deal will have to have a felony conviction on his record and some prison time. He is far more responsible for what happened since he didn\u2019t check the gun and was the one pulling the trigger. From the stories I\u2019ve heard, Baldwin, who is a notorious anti-Second Amendment loudmouth, refused to go through the safety training that is, as I understand it, is standard anytime firearms are on the set. If he walks, other then a jury not convicting him, people will say he got special treatment.<\/p>\n

“Baldwin may think that he will have an easier time if he believes that his team can convince a jury to see that the only culpable party has already been convicted. That\u2019s a risky proposition, given Baldwin\u2019s role as a producer actually involves him in all aspects of the production. Potential jurors will clearly know what went on with Gutierrez Reed and will really scrutinize Baldwin\u2019s lack of responsibility for the chaos on the set.” <\/b><\/p>\n

Again, Gutierrez Reed didn\u2019t pull the trigger, Baldwin did. He was also screwing around with it, apparently \u201cFanning\u201d the hammer. (This is pulling the trigger and holding it back on a .45 SAA pistol and then using your hand to pull back and release the hammer. This allows much faster, if inaccurate shots. It looks good in movies though)<\/p>\n

“And remember, Alec Baldwin will be in the same court, with the same judge, in the same community, with prosecutors presenting many of the same facts. And he\u2019s facing the same sentence: 18 months imprisonment.” <\/b><\/p>\n

They also will have some memory of how Baldwin kept, and as I understand it, still keeps claiming that the gun \u201cJust went off and he didn\u2019t pull the trigger.\u201d Anyone who knows anything about how a .45 Single Action Army, aka the Colt Peacemaker works knows that is just not possible.
