Good day all. This was just announced so there is a lot of things still being uncovered. Friday, June 8th<\/sup>, the corrupt New York Judge, Juan Merchan sent a letter to the President Trump\u2019s defense lawyers saying that there had been a post found on Facebook claiming a relative of one of the jurors had said that Trump was going to be found guilty.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

One of the many issues with this trial was that the jury wasn\u2019t sequestered, especially once they started deliberations. They went home at night. Now jurors in all cases are told that they can not talk about the case until they start deliberations. This apparently didn\u2019t happen and some moron posted that the Greatest President of the 21st<\/sup> Century, Donald Trump, was going to be found guilty, before the jury had announced their verdict. Here are some of the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

The judge presiding over former President Trump\u2019s New York criminal trial notified his defense team on Friday of a comment on the court’s public Facebook page that implies one of the jurors discussed the guilty verdict with family before the trial concluded. <\/b><\/p>\n

Fox News obtained the letter Judge Juan Merchan<\/a> shared with Trump defense attorneys and Manhattan prosecutors.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

Actually, everyone has a copy of the letter since it\u2019s been posted to the courthouse web site, as I understand it.<\/p>\n

“‘Today, the Court became aware of a comment that was posted on the Unified Court System’s public Facebook page and which I now bring to your attention. In the comment, the user, \u2018Michael Anderson,\u2019 states: <\/b><\/p>\n

“\u2019My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted! Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!!\u2019” <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

If this post was made before or during the jury deliberations, that is a major issue. It may be, in my utterly unschooled opinion, a reversible error that will require Merchan to declare a mistrial. Will he actually do that?<\/p>\n

The comment was posted on May 29 “regarding oral arguments in the Fourth Department of the Appellate Division unrelated to this proceeding.”\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

The profile for “Michael Anderson” has little publicly available information, but the user identifies himself as a “Transabled & professional sh– poster.” <\/b><\/p>\n

The post came a day before Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree. Trump had pleaded not guilty to all charges.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

That would mean that this clown talked with the juror, who will be identified and should be prosecuted, perhaps before the jury actually started deliberating. Considering how fast they came back on what pretty much everyone else is saying was a bad case, this makes it look like the jury had made a decision before they hit the jury room.<\/p>\n

A Trump campaign official told Fox News Digital they are “investigating the matter.”\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

They damn well better!<\/p>\n

Al Baker, state OCA spokesperson, said Friday that “as appropriate, the Court informed the parties once it learned of this online content.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have almost no doubt that President Trump\u2019s defense team is digging into all this with a fine tooth comb and will probably ask that Judge Merchan declare that due to jury malfeasance, (Or something, I don\u2019t know the actual laws here), that a mistrial be declared and the case dismissed with prejudice.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Since the verdict came out, both Merchan and Bragg have been getting raked over the coals. Bragg for bring what was clearly a politically motivated case, and Merchan for a whole host of issues regarding his kangaroo court and his active aiding the prosecution. From what I\u2019ve been reading, the errors by Merchan guarantee a reversal by the appeals court. This might give Merchan the opportunity to pull his nuts out of the fire, especially if\/when President Trump wins in November.<\/p>\n

There is also the possibility that Merchan will declare the mistrial and allow Bragg to refile. The case couldn\u2019t be reheard until after the election for simple logistic reasons. Due to everything that happened in this trial, President Trump\u2019s team could and probably will demand a change of venue and a new judge.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Finally, Merchan might just decide to double down on stupid and ignore what happened and proceed with sentencing. That will, of course, open yet another can of worms all by itself. If Merchan uses this to keep President Trump of the campaign trail, it will be seen for what it is, direct election interference. Even worse, if President Trump does win the election, there is no way the Secret Service will allow New York to lock up the President-Elect of the United States.<\/p>\n

This is what happens when you use Third World banana republic tactics against your political opponents. Things can and do blow up in your faces. I suspect that in the next week or two, we will be seeing a motion by the Trump team to declare a mistrial. Then we get to watch Merchan and Bragg squirm even more.<\/p>\n
