The Democrats are now moving into blind panic over Biden\u2019s dementia and that the secret is now out. They are trying to get Biden off the ticket and make sure that Harris doesn\u2019t take over.<\/p>\n

Now someone has come up with Plan C. Replace Kamala Harris with Barack Obama as Vice President. Here are the laughable details from the Washington Examiner<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n With President Joe Biden today dismissing critics of his poor debate performance<\/a> with former President Donald Trump, a \u201cPlan C\u201d is being urged to help his wounded reelection effort across the finish line first on Election Day. <\/b>Advocates of \u201cPlan C\u201d said the solution to Trump\u2019s surging campaign and Electoral College advantage is a simple one: replace Vice President Kamala Harris<\/a> with former President Barack Obama. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cA Biden-Obama ticket would have a much better chance of beating Trump,\u201d said legal scholar John Banzhaf<\/a>, a professor at George Washington University Law School. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cBarack Obama is probably one of the few persons whom a majority of Americans would want and trust as president, so Plan C might be the least objectionable of a number of very unpopular and dubious options now open to Biden and the Democratic Party,\u201d he said on Thursday. <\/b><\/p>\n I did a quick check of this \u201cProfessor.\u201d He\u2019s actually older then Biden. I would also suggest that he\u2019s one of those lawyers who think that the Constitution is a \u201cLiving document,\u201d and means only what he thinks it means. The issue is very straightforward. Barack Obama has served two terms as president. He has been term limited under the 22nd<\/sup> Amendment<\/a> of the Constitution of the United States. If he became Vice President and Biden either died or resigned, Obama could not become president again. I\u2019m not sure he would even be assigned the back up nuclear football.<\/p>\n Banzhaf cited analysis by constitutional scholars dismissing concerns that the 12th and 22nd amendments bar a former two-term president from the vice presidency. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cThe 22nd Amendment, which is most frequently cited as a bar to Barack Obama ever serving as president again, doesn\u2019t \u2014 according to its carefully crafted and very narrow exclusionary language,\u201d Banzhaf said. <\/b><\/p>\n The key sentence in the amendment says, \u201cNo person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice, and no person who has held the office of the president, or acted as president, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected president shall be elected to the office of the president more than once.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n Banzhaf said \u201cwhile this amendment may bar Obama from \u2018being elected\u2019 to the office of president again, it obviously and by its clear language doesn\u2019t prohibit him from being elected as vice president, and subsequently becoming president by succession without ever being elected to the office again.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n Nice try. He would still be elected as VP. Since the Vice President is the back up to the President, he would still be ineligible, not that you leftist lawyers care.<\/p>\n He used the same argument to challenge the 12th Amendment. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cAccording to the overly precise language deliberately carefully chosen by the drafters, Obama cannot \u2018be elected to the office of the president,\u2019 but there\u2019s nothing to say that he cannot be elected to the office of the vice president, and then succeed to the presidency if Biden becomes unable to perform his presidential duties or simply resigns. In other words, Obama is not now \u2018ineligible to the office of president\u2019 and therefore ineligible to run for vice-president; rather he is only ineligible to be \u2018elected\u2019 to the office of the president, not ineligible to attain the office by succession,\u201d he wrote in an email. <\/b><\/p>\n Banzhaf said that having Obama as Biden\u2019s backup might give the country renewed confidence in the president. And, alternatively, Biden could run and win with Obama and then resign if he is as ill as some have speculated. <\/b><\/p>\n You might want to pull your head out of your ass and take a look around. Obama is not that well regarded by anyone outside of the Democrat Party. (And not by a few inside either) He did a tremendous amount of damage to the United States and is continuing to do so through his surrogate Joe Biden.<\/p>\n He said that plan would also allow him to break his promise not to pardon his son Hunter Biden from a gun conviction. <\/b><\/p>\n That promise means nothing to Dementia Joe. As soon as the election is over, win, or lose, Hoovernose will be pardoned.<\/p>\n \u201cRather than simply offering the public the opportunity to have a second-term Biden president supported and backstopped by a very popular and clearly very capable former president Obama, and having someone with experience and a proven record as commander in chief should Biden not be able to continue to serve at anytime during a second four-year term, Biden might even consider announcing before the election that, if elected president, he would resign shortly after his inauguration so that Obama can then become president,\u201d Banzhaf wrote. <\/b><\/p>\n It would also trigger an outright hot civil war. There is a reason that the 22nd<\/sup> Amendment was ratified. It was the last time a Democrat President decided that he didn\u2019t want to leave after two terms, and hung around into his 4th<\/sup> term. That was Franklin Delano Roosevelt who may have been one of the worst presidents of the 20th<\/sup> century. (I won\u2019t say they worst. Hoover\u2019s wrecking the economy and triggering the Crash of 1929 and the Great Depression puts him up there) Obama, until the installation of Joe Biden into the White House, was considered one of the worst presidents in the last century.<\/p>\n He added, \u201cIn addition to claiming that stepping down is the statesman-like thing to do, Biden could argue that resigning would be necessary to permit him to break his promise not to pardon his son, Hunter Biden. Indeed, letting Obama take over would also limit the adverse political fallout of going back on his previous commitment.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n Biden on his best day wouldn\u2019t care what people thought if\/when he pardon\u2019s Hoovernose. As long as it has no effect on him, he\u2019s going to do it. He will be free to do whatever he wants on November 6th<\/sup> 2024. In fact, I have no doubt that Joe Biden will have to worry about writers cramp with all the pardons he\u2019s going to have to sign, starting with Merrick Garland.<\/p>\n This drek by John Banzhaf is nothing more then a progressive liberal Democrat\u2019s wet dream. It won\u2019t happen and any attempt to do so would blow up in the Democrats faces. While you will have the hardcore Progressives who will love this, most Americans will oppose it. It would be seen as yet another attempt by the Democrats to subvert the Constitution of the United States. The probability would be an even worse drubbing for the Democrats at the polls on November 5th<\/sup>.
