Good day all. This story came out Monday, August 20th<\/sup>, right as the Democrat Convention was kicking off. It seems that the Harris campaign thought it would be a good idea to have an \u201cImpromptu\u201d event at a popular restaurant in Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n

This is normally not a big deal except for security, however that is something that the Secret Service knows how to handle. However, it wasn’t any security issues that were the problem here, it was the actions by the Harris people. They wanted to make sure that there was no chance that anyone opposed to Kackling Kamala or Tampon Tim would upstage them. They had the entire restaurant cleared instead and brought in what appears to be actors or proven supporters. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Patrons at a Pittsburgh culinary landmark were outraged Monday after they claimed they were forced to leave the premises before Vice President Kamala Harris<\/a> and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz arrived for a weekend campaign stop. <\/b><\/p>\n

Several people who had been enjoying food, drinks and the Pittsburgh Pirates game on TV at Primanti Bros. in Moon, Pennsylvania, on Sunday said they were all forced out of the restaurant promptly at 4 p.m. <\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Mark Dodson of Collier, who said he was just in the area to enjoy “the Bucs” \u2013 as the Pirates are nicknamed \u2013 simply wanted a quiet day. <\/b><\/p>\n

“I wanted to watch some sports and enjoy an afternoon lunch,” said Dodson, as Primanti is known for its signature Pittsburgh-style sandwiches piled high with sliced meats and french fries \u2013 a Steel City custom. <\/b><\/p>\n

“Around 3:30, the bartender, she goes, \u2018It\u2019s last call\u2019 \u2013 what do you mean last call?” Dodson said, adding the employee informed him there was a private event at the top of the hour. <\/b><\/p>\n

That surprises me and makes me curious about a few things. While I can see the Secret Service telling the restaurant not to announce that Kackling Kamala was going to be there, I can\u2019t see the management not posting a notice that they would need to close down for a private event. Springing it on their regulars at the last moment is something that should make everyone go \u201cHmmm.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dodson, who said he is familiar with the restaurant business, said the entire situation seemed sudden. <\/b><\/p>\n

“They shut down the TVs\u2026 so you couldn\u2019t watch the game,” he said. “I said, this is BS \u2013 this is a public restaurant. It was kind of mind-boggling to me.” <\/b><\/p>\n

I get the feeling that this was all very last second. Someone decided that this would be a great place to hold an event and basically told the management that \u201cThe Vice President is going to be there in an hour and we want you to close down and get rid of everyone there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dodson said he was ultimately the last real patron to leave the premises and that when he reached his car, it was the only one left in the lot \u2013 and that he noticed a growing presence of protesters lining the other side of the road, many in pro-Trump attire. <\/b><\/p>\n

This is where things get interesting. All the regular customers were thrown out and you now had an empty venue. Now this in and of itself isn\u2019t all that unusual of course, except that there was no real notice to the customers beforehand. However, it looks like that they wanted to \u201cSet the stage\u201d for Harris and remove any chance of a Trump supporter being on site.<\/p>\n

Video shared by Republican Committee of Allegheny County chairman Sam DeMarco III showed a Harris-Walz campaign bus and several white vans showing up soon after. <\/b><\/p>\n

Protesters shouted, “They kicked us out of Primanti Brothers” and “You are terrible people” as the entourage arrived. <\/b><\/p>\n

I wonder if those were actual customers or if they were the Trump supporters making the accusations? I don\u2019t think it\u2019s going to matter though.<\/p>\n

Others verbally accused the campaign of employing “actors” \u2013 as video captured by ABC News of Harris\u2019 visit itself depicted a full dining room with people enjoying their food. <\/b><\/p>\n

“Holy hell, all these actors in these vans,” a man was heard shouting among the anti-Harris demonstrators<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

That sounds like someone was actually surprised and not a \u201cPlant\u201d shouting something out.<\/p>\n

Amy Smith, who lives in Moon, said she also was at Primanti Bros. for lunch when she was among the patrons asked to vacate.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

Smith said she had heard that Harris would be in the area and predicted she would \u2013 and did \u2013 stop at a nearby Sheetz gas station popular with candidates on their way to Pittsburgh International Airport. <\/b><\/p>\n

I read something about that stop. According to the Washington Examiner<\/a>, it was completely stage managed and designed to make both Komrade Kackling Kamala and Tampon Tim look like \u201cReal people.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Smith said she saw two blue Harris-Walz buses arrive, followed by a white bus with no decal. Rep. Chris Deluzio, D-Pa. \u2013 who represents the suburban area \u2013 was also reportedly spotted joining Harris at the event. She also offered her timeline of events, having arrived for lunch around 2:50 p.m. After her party left the restaurant, Smith said Harris did not arrive until around 6 p.m. <\/b><\/p>\n

One reason I can see for the four hour delay would be the Secret Service securing the venue. The other reason was that the Campaign wanted everything set up beforehand to make Harris the prostitute and Walz the deserter look good.<\/p>\n

After the Primanti Bros. debacle, however, Republican Committee of Allegheny County chairman Sam DeMarco III appeared to try to lower the temperature toward the Pittsburgh mainstay, saying the restaurant should be given some slack. <\/b><\/p>\n

“Oftentimes campaigns rent out a place of business for a private party or particular event. Perhaps that\u2019s what happened here? Anyway, I like a good Primanti Bros. \u2018hot & cheese\u2019 sandwich so let\u2019s cut them a break.” <\/b><\/p>\n

I agree with Mr. DeMarco. While I think they could have handled the situation a bit better, this may have all come up at the last minute. In any case, all this does is show just how out of touch and flat out terrified the Harris\/Walz campaign are of the people they are allegedly planning on representing. That the campaign managers felt that they had to \u201cRig\u201d things to make Kackling Kamala look good speaks volumes.<\/p>\n

Compare that with President Trump and J.D. Vance. While you might have security teams show up before President Trump shows up, they aren\u2019t going to clear out the customers. Just the opposite in fact. President Trump likes meeting people and talking to them. This is how he gets a feel for what people are thinking about and what\u2019s worrying them. He\u2019ll then try and answer their questions.<\/p>\n

Compare this with Kamala Harris. When she goes off script she generates enough word salad to feed every rabbit in the state. She hates talking with \u201cThe People.\u201d When she does and has to answer an actual question, she invariably makes a complete fool of herself. This explains why her campaign would take over a restaurant, boot the actual customers out and being in their own people to \u201cAct\u201d like local customers. What I find amazing is that they actually thought this was a good idea and would get away with it. Good luck with that!<\/p>\n
