Good day all. For the last eight years, give or take, we have seen the Democrat Propaganda Corps, formally known as the Main Stream Media, attack President Trump, those who support him and Republicans in general. At the same time they have been covering up and spiking any stories that would hurt the Democrat Party or the Deep State.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

Because of their blatant biases and in a number of provable cases, flat out lies, most Americans, at least those with any common sense and functioning brain cells, have started ignoring the \u201cTraditional\u201d news sources. That has led to actual financial hits to the various news services as people have moved to alternative sources of information.<\/p>\n

This has led some news organizations to actually start rethinking where they have gone, especially since their biases are now affecting the bottom line. Recently, several major, (Or they used to be major), newspapers decided to not endorse anyone for president. This led the staff members to basically throw a hissy fit<\/a> since they expected their papers to endorse Comrade Kamala Harris.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Now the Powers that Be in the C level suites are panicking that the serfs and peons are no longer listening to the orders of their betters. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Some in the news industry are sounding the alarm about the prospects of another election victory for former President Trump, with one even predicting the death of the legacy media. <\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A report in New York Magazine’s Intelligencer<\/a> on Wednesday put a spotlight on the sheer panic within the media, largely focusing on the turmoil erupting at The Washington Post after its billionaire owner, Jeff Bezos, halted the paper’s endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

More broadly, one network executive told features writer Charlotte Klein, “It’s going to change everything” if Trump wins. The exec said it could signify the complete failure of the news industry.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

“If half the country has decided that Trump is qualified to be president, that means they’re not reading any of this media, and we\u2019ve lost this audience completely. A Trump victory<\/a> means mainstream media is dead in its current form,” they said.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

“You\u2019ve got the major disruptions underpinning everything \u2014 strategically, platform-wise, consumer technology \u2014 no matter what happens in the election,” the executive told the magazine. “And then if Trump wins, all of a sudden you\u2019ve got this other pressure on everything. There\u2019s brand damage. He undermines trust in the media. It\u2019s just going to add a level of complexity.” <\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This shows just how badly out of touch the Media is with the rest of the country. They do not seem to comprehend that people now have other sources of information and can now verify what the media elites are claiming to be \u201cFacts.\u201d For the last few years, the media\u2019s terminal Trump Derangement Syndrome has cost them both credibility and in a few cases cold hard cash as the people they\u2019ve been targeting have sued them and either won outright or forced the MSM to settle to avoid complete destruction.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

One political reporter worried covering Trump would take away from other important stories. <\/b><\/p>\n

“If he is trying to turn America into an autocracy, could [investigative reporters] embark on a series about sexism in girls’ sports? Could that be what they use their considerable firepower for?” they asked Klein. “Maybe, but I think if there\u2019s actual things to investigate with a president, it would be hard to use those sorts of resources for much other than that.” <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And again we see just how far out of touch that \u201cPolitical reporter\u201d is with reality. They have forgotten that their job is not to \u201cInfluence\u201d opinion, it\u2019s to report facts and provide accurate information. They\u2019re also so far to the Left that they actually think that that President Trump will set up an autocratic government.<\/p>\n

What they fail to see, since they\u2019re actually a part of it, is how the Democrat Party has been doing just that for decades. We\u2019re seeing commentators complaining that the DoJ didn\u2019t just throw President Trump in jail and how they aren\u2019t rounding up all his supporters. Others, such as the moonbats referred to in this post, see themselves as gatekeepers who are there to insure that only the \u201cCorrect\u201d information is made available to the serfs, peons and ignorant masses.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The legacy media is basically in collapse. They are seeing the money dry up as advertisers pull their ads since they aren\u2019t seeing any value for their money. Even the billionaires such as Jeff Bezos, who is not flaming conservative, are realizing that the MSM can\u2019t hope to survive if they don\u2019t expand their reach, and the only way they can do that is to move back towards the center and do actual reporting instead of \u201cJournalism.<\/p>\n

It may be to late for that. The damage may be to great. If the old line Legacy media does collapse, something else will rise to replace them and may already be happening and they only have themselves to blame.<\/p>\n
