Good day all. Now that President Trump has filled his cabinet, he\u2019s starting down the list of non-cabinet posts. At the top is firing and replacing the current director of the FBI, Christopher Wray. Wray was originally appointed by President Trump in his first administration and the idea was that he would clean up the mess left by James Comey. Instead, Wray doubled down and the FBI is now seen as a direct threat to the American People.<\/p>\n

I won\u2019t bother going into all the things Wray did. Obviously, the most egregious was the FBI Panty Raid on Melania Trump\u2019s underwear draw at Mar-a-lago. That Wray allowed it to happen in the first place was bad enough. The complete lack of professionalism by the agents was disgraceful. This and a whole host of other things made it a foregone conclusion that if he was re-elected. Christopher Wray was heading for the unemployment line. Now his replacement has been announced. Here are the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

President-elect Trump has named longtime ally Kashyap “Kash” Patel, who has been a frequent and harsh critic of the FBI, to serve as the bureau’s next director in the new administration<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n

I will state that until now, I don\u2019t think I had ever heard of Mr. Patel. I certainly don\u2019t know very much about him. It seems that there are a lot of people who do know about him and they seem to think he\u2019s perfect for the job. Then there are the \u201cUsual Suspects\u201d on the left who are aghast and the thought of Mr. Patel running the FBI.<\/p>\n

Patel, 44, is an attorney with experience in national security, intelligence and counterterrorism and helped uncover the bureau’s surveillance of the Trump campaign and first term. He has been a member of Trump\u2019s transition team, advising the administration on other appointments. <\/b><\/p>\n

I wonder if he knows about Brandon Herrera and how he should be appointed Destructor<\/i><\/span> Director of the BATF?<\/p>\n

Trump announced Patel\u2019s appointment in a Truth Social post on Saturday. <\/b><\/p>\n

“Kash is a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and \u2018America First\u2019 fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending Justice, and protecting the American People,” Trump’s statement read. “He played a pivotal role in uncovering the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, standing as an advocate for truth, accountability, and the Constitution.” <\/b><\/p>\n

I wasn\u2019t aware that Mr. Patel helped uncover the Felonia von Pantsuit paid for fake Russia dossier that the Democrats and Never Trump RINO\u2019s used against the Greatest President of the 21st<\/sup> Century, Donald Trump. That would explain Adam Schiffhead\u2019s reaction to this news. Here are a few of those details from Breitbart<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Incoming California Senator Rep. Adam Schiff (D) demanded Sunday that the Senate reject the nomination of Kash Patel to be director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), continuing a long personal vendetta against Patel.<\/b><\/p>\n

Schiff has been trying to destroy Patel ever since 2017, when Patel helped expose the fact that members of the outgoing Obama administration abused their power to \u201cunmask\u201d the names of Americans caught on foreign wiretaps, a practice that was thought to have led to the unjust firing and prosecution of National Security Advisor Michael Flynn over false allegations of collusion with Russia. <\/b><\/p>\n

Schiff, then the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, wrote a memorandum<\/a>\u00a0in which he attempted, unsuccessfully, to counter the claims of the Republican majority that the FBI\u2019s surveillance of Carter Page, an aide to then-candidate Donald Trump, was justified. <\/b><\/p>\n

Schiff\u2019s claims were later debunked<\/a> by a report by the Department of Justice Inspector General, which validated Republican concerns about the abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court by the FBI in its efforts to target Trump. <\/b><\/p>\n

I can see why Schiff might be a bit concerned about Kash Patel becoming the next director of the FBI. However, as the old commercial goes, \u201cBut wait! There\u2019s more!!\u201d<\/p>\n

During the first impeachment investigation of President Trump, which Schiff led as chair of the House Intelligence Committee, Democrats tried, in vain, to find evidence that Patel had been a \u201cback channel\u201d for Russia to Trump. The impeachment report cited<\/a> a phone call between then-Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani and Patel \u2014 which proved nothing but the fact that the committee had violated the president\u2019s Sixth Amendment rights by spying on his legal counsel. <\/b><\/p>\n

Sadly, Schiffhead won his election to be in the Senate. I think we can count him as a \u201cNO!\u201d vote on Kash Patel. Returning to the Fox News story<\/a>:<\/p>\n

The current FBI director, Christopher Wray, is currently serving a 10-year appointment which began in 2017. Wray will either need to be fired or resign in order for Patel to take the position. <\/b><\/p>\n

I wonder if Wray has the guts to stick it out until January 20th<\/sup>, 2025 to a few minutes after 12PM? If he does, look for him to get a phone call from President Trump. That call will consist of two words.<\/p>\n
