Recently, President Trump was trolling Canada\u2019s current Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, referring to him as Governor and Canada as the 51st<\/sup> state. There is a reason for this of course. Justin Trudeau has been acting like a tyrant for years and now it looks like the Canadians have had it with him. It looks like he\u2019s on the way out the door. Here are some of the details from the Independent<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau<\/a> is under immense pressure to resign <\/a>with more members of his own party reportedly joining the effort to force Trudeau out after his deputy prime minister resigned and concerns about Donald Trump\u2019s tariffs increase.\u00a0<\/a> <\/b>Signs are mounting that members of the Liberal Party<\/a>, which Trudeau has led since 2013, are losing confidence in the prime minister. <\/b><\/p>\n For those who live under a rock, Canada uses the parliamentarian form of government<\/a>. The leader is referred to as the Prime Minister<\/b><\/a> and is also the leader of the party. Unlike our system, where a President is elected for a fixed term of office, the Prime Minister can be removed from power if he or she loses a vote of no confidence. (There are other ways as well)<\/p>\n In mid-December, Chrystina Freeland, the deputy prime minister and head of finance, unexpectedly resigned<\/a> citing disagreements over the handling of Trump\u2019s proposed 25 percent tariffs on the country \u2013 an issue that could damage the economy. <\/b><\/p>\n The tariff issue is something that President Trump is talking about. As I understand it, since Dementia Joe Biden came into office, he hasn\u2019t been enforcing the agreements between the United States and Canada, and Canada has been playing games with Trade.<\/p>\n President Trump has basically said that we\u2019re going to fix this or else the tariffs going into effect. I suspect Trudeau, who doesn\u2019t like President Trump, was planning on going the stupid route and Ms. Freeland couldn\u2019t take him out of it.<\/p>\n Already, Trudeau was facing low approval ratings due to the country\u2019s cost of living crisis. <\/b><\/p>\n I think there are a lot more reasons that the Canadian people are fed up with Castro\u2019s Bastard and the Cost of Living is just a part of it.<\/p>\n But since then, dozens of Liberal MPs have called on Trudeau to resign. Less than two weeks ago, a majority of Liberal MPs in the province of Ontario agreed, on a call, that Trudeau should step down, according to CBC.<\/a> <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve reached a breaking point,\u201d said one Liberal who attended the meeting, and was granted anonymity to speak freely, according to Politico<\/a>. \u201cThere\u2019s a critical mass now that has been reached and that was not in place before.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n Now I make no claims about understanding how all this works. Currently, the Canadian parliament is out of session, so nothing regarding Trudeau\u2019s continuing as Prime Minister is going to be handled. The parliament is due to return on January 27th<\/sup>. What appears to be happening is that Trudeau\u2019s own party is putting together a vote of No Confidence.<\/p>\n Then, on Friday, George Chahal, a Liberal MP for Calgary Skyview, penned a letter<\/a> to the liberal caucus urging them to support others in calling for Trudeau to step down and appoint an interim leader. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cPrime Minister Justin Trudeau no longer has the support of caucus and to maintain some dignity he should immediately tender his resignation,\u201d Chahal wrote. <\/b><\/p>\n I believe that when your own party turns on you, your days are numbered. As for Castro\u2019s Bastard, (It\u2019s been long assumed that Trudeau\u2019s mother played \u201cDock the Submarine\u201d with Fidel Castro and Justin Trudeau looks nothing like his \u201cFather\u201d Pierre Trudeau. He does look like a younger Fidel Castro), dignity and doing the right thing are not something he\u2019s ever been known for. According to the Associated (with terrorists) Press<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n There is no mechanism for Trudeau\u2019s party to force him out in the short-term. He could resign, or his party could be forced from power by a \u201cno confidence\u201d vote in Parliament that would trigger an election that would very likely favor the opposing Conservative Party. <\/b><\/p>\n If a No Confidence vote is held and his own party votes against him, Trudeau could still win the vote if the other parties vote to back him. The question is, would they?<\/p>\n With voters deeply unhappy, Parliament has the authority to try to knock Trudeau\u2019s Liberal party from power by holding a \u201cno confidence\u201d vote that would trigger an early election. And if a majority of Parliament votes against his government, Trudeau would then be \u201cerased in the election,\u201d Canadian historian Robert Bothwell said. <\/b><\/p>\n Because Liberals don\u2019t hold an outright majority in the Parliament, they have for years depended on the support of the leftist New Democratic Party to pass legislation and stay in power. But that support has all but vanished \u2014 the NDP\u2019s leader has called on Trudeau to resign \u2014 and that clears the way for Parliament to vote \u201cno confidence.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n If that happens, there will be a general election. Considering the damage that Trudeau and the Liberal Party have done, it wouldn\u2019t surprise me if they get hammered as badly as the Conservative Party in Britain was in their last election. As to who might win? I can\u2019t say since I don\u2019t follow Canadian politics at all. I do think it would be safe to say that Trudeau won\u2019t be Prime Minister for much longer.<\/p>\n It looks like Trudeau is going to pull the pin and resign, as early as today.
