Good day all. President Trump has been in officer for a couple of weeks and we\u2019re seeing things we\u2019ve never seen before, even during President Trump\u2019s first term. One of those things is blind panic and absolute denial of what is happening and going to happen to the Federal Bureaucracy.<\/p>\n

President Trump has already ordered the shutting down of all things DEI. Any Federal Employee who was doing DEI crap was sent home with pay and benefits while their future was being determined. (The ATF decided, surprising no one, to ignore the order and is Fucking Around. Stay tuned for the Finding Out part) All the contractors were let go and all their contracts canceled. Now the other shoe is dropping. Here are some of the details from Fox News<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

The Trump administration is offering buyouts for nearly all federal employees, including those who work remotely, as part of President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s efforts to get employees back into the office, but they only have until Feb. 6 to opt-in. <\/b><\/p>\n

One of President Trump\u2019s orders to the bureaucrats was to \u201cGet their Ass to Mars<\/i><\/span> the office.\u201d This has upset many of the lazy, good for nothing<\/i><\/span> federal employees. A large percentage are pushing back, thinking that they actually are the people in charge. President Trump and his team have made it plain that workers refusing to return to the office will be fired.<\/p>\n

During Trump\u2019s first week in office, he issued several directives to the federal workforce, including a requirement that remote employees must return to in-person work. <\/b><\/p>\n

“After four years of incompetence and failure, President Donald Trump is committed to making our government efficient and productive again,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement on Tuesday. “American taxpayers<\/a> pay for the salaries of federal government employees and therefore deserve employees working on their behalf who actually show up to work in our wonderful federal buildings, also paid for by taxpayers. <\/b><\/p>\n

“If they don\u2019t want to work in the office and contribute to making America great again, then they are free to choose a different line of work, and the Trump Administration will provide a very generous payout of eight months,” she added. <\/b><\/p>\n

Out here in the \u201cDreaded Private Sector,\u201d when employees are offered buyouts, it usually means that the next step is layoffs. It\u2019s common knowledge that Americans think that the federal government is to large and unaccountable to the Administration, Congress or the American Taxpayers. President Trump agrees with this sentiment, hence the back to the office order.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, a government-wide email was sent out to ensure all federal workers were on board with the Trump administration\u2019s plan. <\/b><\/p>\n

Who cares if they\u2019re onboard with the administration\u2019s plan? This isn\u2019t a discussion, it\u2019s orders. You, the federal bureaucrat will report to your office or you can start looking for another job in the fast food industry.<\/p>\n

“The government-wide email being sent today is to make sure that all federal workers are on board with the new administration\u2019s plan to have federal employees in office and adhering to higher standards,” a senior administration official said. “We\u2019re five years past COVID and just 6 percent of federal employees work full-time in office. That is unacceptable.” <\/b><\/p>\n

I\u2019m assuming that the 6% going into the office are those who really don\u2019t have a choice or actually prefer to. I\u2019m one of the latter in my Real World Job. However, so few people wanted to go back, (I was one who was in almost every day after we were told we could come back), that when the lease was up on our office space, the company moved to a much smaller office location. I still go in on occasion, but I don\u2019t like the new smaller office set up and very few of my Real World Coworkers go in that often either.<\/p>\n

“Going forward, we also expect our physical offices to undergo meaningful consolidation and divestitures, potentially resulting in physical office relocations for a number of federal workers,” the email read. <\/b><\/p>\n

One of the things that the Trump Administration is looking into is the amount of office space that the Federal Government currently uses. Most is owned outright by the Government, other spaces are leased. One of the plans is to close out the leased spaces wherever possible and get rid of any surplus to needs office space or buildings. That will probably save the taxpayers billions every year.<\/p>\n

For those who returned to office, the Trump administration thanked them for their “renewed focus” on serving the American people. But the future of their position could not be guaranteed, according to the email. <\/b><\/p>\n

Yep, we\u2019re looking at major layoffs.<\/p>\n

For those who do not want to continue in their role with the federal workforce, the Trump administration thanked them for their services, informing them they will be provided with a “dignified, fair departure from the federal government utilizing a deferred resignation program.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is another way of saying:<\/p>\n
