Good day all. The levels of stupidity among the Progressive Liberal Democrats is beyond comprehension. I\u2019ve already written a post<\/a> on a Maine Law firm that is advising schools to destroy immigration documents and deny entry to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

Now we have the National Teacher\u2019s Unions providing guides telling school staff how to help illegals evade ICE. Here are the details from the Federalist<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

The nation\u2019s most powerful teachers unions are coaching school staff to obstruct immigration enforcement and destroy the rule of law in America. <\/b><\/p>\n

The National Education Association is America\u2019s largest<\/a> teachers union, and the American Federation of Teachers is the second largest<\/a>. Both groups regularly bankroll<\/a> Democrats and leftist<\/a> causes, and both are publicly funded organizations, with union dues coming from taxpayer-funded teachers\u2019 salaries. Now they have published guidance urging staff to help illegal aliens evade mass deportations, even though deportations are supported by a majority<\/a> of Americans. <\/b><\/p>\n

The Teacher\u2019s unions have become pretty much despised by parents after what they did with the Covid lock-downs during the Great Panicdemic of 2020. Even many teachers don\u2019t want to be part of the unions but don\u2019t have any choice if they want to teach. Rather then look into why people are angry with the unions, the union heads are doubling down on stupid.<\/p>\n

The presidents of both unions recently published statements<\/a> opposing<\/a> President Donald Trump\u2019s executive or<\/a>d<\/a>er<\/a> enabling broader immigration enforcement. Meanwhile, public officials \u2014 including Illinois Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker and Chicago Public Schools CEO Pedro Martinez \u2014 have been sharing<\/a> false reports<\/a> about ICE raids at schools<\/a>, in an apparent effort to stoke mass hysteria. <\/b><\/p>\n

That \u201cRaid\u201d turned out to be the Secret Service investigating a threat of some sort. The problem with these morons is their attempt to stoke \u201cMass Hysteria\u201d isn\u2019t working. The people they\u2019re relying on to \u201cBecome hysterical\u201d are actually fully on board with the ICE raids.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The day after Trump\u2019s inauguration, NEA President Becky Pringle suggested she would obstruct<\/a> immigration enforcement. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThe incoming Trump administration is committed to a mass deportation agenda that will inflict irreversible harm,\u201d Pringle claimed. \u201cWe have a professional and moral responsibility to keep our students safe, especially if, and when, Trump sends ICE into our communities.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

How nice of her to announce publicly that she intends to violate Federal laws. It will make it that much simpler for the U.S. Attorney to put together a case and indict her if she actually follows through with her \u201cCunning plan.\u201d<\/p>\n

In line with Pringle\u2019s comments, the NEA issued \u201cGuidance on Immigration Issues<\/a>\u201d this month, \u201cstrongly encourag[ing] schools and school districts to adopt a Safe Zones policy that outlines what educators and staff should do if ICE attempts to engage in immigration enforcement at schools.\u201d The guidance further states, \u201cIf your school district has not yet adopted such a policy, we encourage you to take proactive action.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

First, at this time, the only reason for ICE to go into a school would be to round up not so much regular illegals, but criminal gang members who are in the country illegally. Now I\u2019m no lawyer, (Thank God!), but in my unschooled opinion, if ICE did go to a school to grab some of the aforementioned hardened criminal illegals and the school interfered, the school administrators and any teachers in involved would be arrested under 8 U.S. Code \u00a7 1324<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The next potential charges could be conspiracy to obstruct federal officers in the performance of their duties and, potentially charged under 18 U.S. Code \u00a7 2384<\/a>. That one was what the Garland DoJ used to go after the Proud Boys. (That was a blatant misuse of that statute and I\u2019m not to sure it could or should be used in this instance either)<\/p>\n

The NEA also said educators should have families download<\/a> the app \u201cNotifica\u201d \u2014 by open-border group United We Dream<\/a> \u2014 which offers a help button so illegals can \u201cNotify [Their] Deportation Defense<\/a> Network.\u201d The NEA advised staff to \u201cDistribute<\/a> Red Cards<\/a>,\u201d which give illegals instructions on how to evade arrest and the consequences of breaking the law. <\/b><\/p>\n

That sounds rather illegal to me, but again, not a lawyer. I wonder if these morons are even talking to a lawyer about what they\u2019re doing? Of course, their lawyers may be on the same side as these nitwits politically.<\/p>\n

In the event of a raid, the NEA said<\/a>, educators should \u201cnot block or interfere with ICE activities or the agents. <\/b><\/p>\n

Well, it does sound like some common sense, or more likely a \u201cI don\u2019t want to go to prison\u201d thought entered their thick skulls.<\/p>\n

However, you do not have to give the agents access to non-public areas if they did not present a valid search warrant.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

I\u2019m not actually to sure about that. For all intents and purposes, these agents are in \u201cHot pursuit\u201d and can go pretty much anywhere they need to. There may be things they can\u2019t do such as start searching through draws and stuff. Again, not up on how this all works, so I\u2019ll leave it to the legal beagles.<\/p>\n

It said staff should \u201cnot give any statements to ICE agents or allow themselves to be interrogated before consulting with an attorney.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

You do have the right to remain silent. You also have the right to be unemployed.<\/p>\n

The union told illegals to \u201chave an emergency plan\u201d and not to open their doors if ICE shows up. <\/b><\/p>\n

And that looks like the active interference that violates Federal law. Honestly, I don\u2019t think these teachers unions have actually thought through just how much things have changed since 2020-2021. People are fed up and they elected President Trump in a landslide, (Both popular and electoral votes), to clean up the mess made by the Democrats. This includes dealing with the Teacher\u2019s unions.<\/p>\n

In her statement opposing Trump\u2019s executive order, AFT President Randi Weingarten smeared<\/a> Trump\u2019s immigration order as \u201ccruelty\u201d and \u201cun-American.\u201d She said the public union would resist federal law enforcement and \u201cfight to protect our students.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Personally, I think Randi Weingarten should be indicted for child abuse. Of course, I\u2019m a nasty sort. She is a communist who flat out believes that parents should be pushed aside when it comes to the upbringing and education of their children. I don\u2019t need to go over her antics regarding the lock-downs or how she wanted the DoJ under Garland to arrest parents as terrorists for daring to question the \u201cProfessional Educational Elite.\u201d<\/p>\n

The AFT offers a \u201cDeportation Defense Toolkit<\/a>\u201d that instructs<\/a> illegal aliens how to prepare for a raid by ICE. <\/b><\/p>\n

Does that include have a suitcase packed for their deportation?<\/p>\n

The union tells<\/a> illegals to prepare for immigration enforcement by finding \u201ca local nonprofit organization that can help you,\u201d getting in touch with an attorney, saving money, and \u201ccreat[ing] a family immigration raid emergency plan.\u201d The AFT also offers a \u201cKnow Your Rights\u201d card \u2014 similar to the \u201cred cards\u201d advertised by the NEA. <\/b><\/p>\n

I guess not. Of course, the AFT and NEA, in telling the criminals to contact a local NGO might have missed the latest memo from President Trump. The Treasury is turning off the money tap to these, for lack of a better term, seditious organizations.<\/p>\n

The AFT also directs<\/a> school staff to \u201cwork with parents to develop a family immigration raid emergency plan\u201d and turn schools into \u201cICE-free safe zone[s].\u201d Like the NEA, the AFT\u2019s guide also references the leftist immigration group \u201cUnited We Dream<\/a>.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Are you talking about the parents who are American citizens or legal resident aliens, or those who are not in the country legally? If it\u2019s the former, you might find that many of those parents might just drop a dime on the latter to ICE. As for setting up an \u201cICE Free zone?\u201d<\/p>\n
