Good day all. Recently I posted an entry about a complete moonbat<\/a> in Kalifornistan who thought that people should not be allowed to protect themselves from criminals. This jughead put forward a bill required that innocent people retreat from criminals when attacked, including from their own homes.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

Even if they couldn\u2019t retreat, they could only use enough force to really piss off the criminals. Needless to say, the outcry against this bill was quite loud. Now the moron who put the bill forward has withdrawn it. Here are the details from the Populist Times<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Common sense has prevailed after a Californian Democrat who sponsored a bill that essentially banned self-defense during a home invasion bent the knee and withdrew his proposal. The bill received almost unanimous opposition from Californian law enforcement, Republican lawmakers, victims of crimes, and the pro-2A gun lobby National Rifle Association (NRA). <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I won\u2019t be surprised if it wasn\u2019t \u201cCommon sense,\u201d a million calls into his office and a few, very subtle threats.<\/p>\n

Assemblyman Rick Zbur (D-Los Angeles) sponsored AB 1333 which sought to limit circumstances under which homicide was justifiable during a home invasion. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThis bill would eliminate certain circumstances under which homicide is justifiable\u2026[e.g.] in defense of a habitation or property.\u201d It also intended to \u201cclarify circumstances in which homicide is not justifiable \u2026[e.g.] when a person uses more force than necessary to defend against a danger.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

This closet case was basically declaring open season on the innocent people of Kalifornistan. Consider that a woman is grabbed by some two legged walking piece of human debris and he starts smacking her around and trying to rip her clothes of for a little rape.<\/p>\n

She happens to have a knife, even just a pocket knife and uses it against the attacker and he ends up becoming a good criminal. (Deceased) There would be a very good chance that the victim would be the one who was prosecuted for having the nerve to not just lay back and let the scumbag have a little fun with her.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Its revised version also required homeowners to exhaust \u201cevery reasonable means to escape such danger other than the use of force likely to cause death or great bodily injury. Commonsense Californians and netizens on social media pointed out that the bill essentially banned self-defense and obligated the homeowner to retreat instead of creating a deterrent to home invasion. <\/b><\/p>\n

This part of the bill basically said \u201cDon\u2019t you dare defend your home and possessions from criminals. They deserve all your stuff.\u201d It is diametrically opposite of what is known as the Castle Doctrine. As that name implies, your home is your castle and you have the absolute right to defend it from attack, and home invaders are definitely attacking your home when they kick in the front door.<\/p>\n

However, Assemblyman Zbur contradicted that observation claiming that it intends to prevent \u201cwannabe vigilantes like Kyle Rittenhouse from provoking violence and claiming self-defense.\u201d\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

That statement tells you exactly where this knothead Zbur stands. He\u2019s a hard left Antifa type who has no problem with his pals committing violent acts on people he doesn\u2019t like politically. He knows damn well that the Rittenhouse incident is arguably the best documented case of self defense in decades. Kyle Rittenhouse was trying to evade the criminals until he was cornered, knocked down and they tried to get his rifle.<\/p>\n

Ironically, the bill did not hold the home invaders responsible for creating a dangerous situation. Instead, it focused on the homeowner\u2019s reaction, putting them at risk of severe legal consequences for defending their property.\u00a0Assemblyman Tom Lackey (R-Palmdale) noted that the bill would leave homeowners second-guessing \u201cwhether defending your family is \u2018justifiable.\u2019\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

The answer to that is simple. No. All you can do is hand over your stuff and allow your daughters to be raped. Don\u2019t you dare even think of harming the hair on the head of one of those criminals or else!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As your would expect, the comments on the stupidity of this bill came fast and furiously. The entirety of the Kalofornistan law enforcement community, (With the possible exceptions of the remaining Soros DA\u2019s) came down in total opposition to this bill. On the flip side, the militant anti-gun groups were all in favor of the bill making innocent people criminals for daring to not allow themselves to be murdered.<\/p>\n

However, the radical anti-gun group Moms Demand Action supported the bill claiming it \u201cpromotes safe de-escalation\u201d in \u201cconflicts outside the home.\u201d\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

Ironically, the confused coven of anti-2A mombies could not decipher that the bill targeted self-defense situations at home and not outside. Additionally, women\u2019s use of a weapon in self-defense during a violent crime reduces<\/a> the possibility of a completed rape and the probability of an injury to zero.\u00a0Similarly, over 1 million crimes are prevented annually when victims brandish a firearm, which could be considered assault with a deadly weapon in some circumstances. Based on the bill\u2019s vague language, it also cannot be ruled out that brandishing a firearm at an invader could be considered excessive force. <\/b><\/p>\n

Without question, some idiot DA would go after someone who dared use any force at all to protect himself, herself or their children. Almost all of these Moms are the stereotypical Karens or AWFUL\u2019s. (Angry or Affluent White Female Urban Liberal) They live in gated communities and expect the police to always be on site keeping the \u201cLower class riff raff\u201d away from them. They literally have no clue how to protect themselves and very little grasp on reality. They\u2019re also, generally, not to bright.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, California also has more than a fair share of ridiculous anti-gun laws which make self-defense outside the home almost impossible. Restricting self-defense at home would be the final step in taking away all citizens\u2019 rights to defend themselves, essentially turning them into sitting ducks for violent armed criminals. <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

That was the plan. Kalifornistan is run by the Progressive Liberal Democrat Elites. They almost never have to deal with the laws they shove on to the \u201cLower classes.\u201d They also see the criminals as \u201cPoor misunderstood people just looking to better themselves.\u201d Not the psychopaths they actually are.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, Assemblyman Zbur announced on Wednesday that he would withdraw the controversial bill following a public backlash, which he termed as \u201cmisleading information.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

The only person putting out \u201cMisleading information\u201d was that Marxist Moonbat Zbur. He was flat out lying through his teeth about his bill was meant to do, which was to make it safe for the Criminal Element to to do whatever they wanted. Makes me wonder what was in it for him? Considering how some of those left coast Commicrats have actually been caught breaking into people\u2019s homes, maybe he was setting things up so that he wouldn\u2019t have to worry if he decided to conduct some \u201cMidnight Requisitioning.\u201d In any case, the bill is dead and hopefully this turd will be voted out in the next election.<\/p>\n
