Good day all. Massachusetts is essentially a single party state under the control of the Communist<\/i><\/span> Democrat party. As such they, like all cities, counties states and nations, have a small problem with corruption. Recently a Boston pol was indicted on corruption charges, and now a state representatives has been busted.<\/p>\n

In this case, the corrupt Democrat in question is one Chris Flanagan. He has been charged with embezzlement. Here are the details from LifeZette<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Massachusetts State Representative Chris Flanagan was arrested<\/a> Friday morning on federal embezzlement charges after prosecutors alleged he stole approximately $36,000 from a former employer to cover campaign expenses, personal debt, and shopping purchases. <\/b><\/p>\n

U.S. Attorney Leah Foley announced the charges in a press release, calling the theft an \u201cappalling breach of public trust.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Flanagan, 37, is accused of embezzling funds while serving as executive officer for the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Cape Cod between 2021 and 2022. <\/b><\/p>\n

According to the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office, the theft occurred over a 14-month period and was used to fund parts of Flanagan\u2019s 2023 reelection campaign, which targeted a historically Republican seat. <\/b><\/p>\n

Now that I find interesting. I\u2019m surprised that he wasn\u2019t funded by the usual sources the Democrats use to buy elections. (ActBlue for one) They love to throw money at anyone going up against a Republican.<\/p>\n

The local district attorney, a fellow Democrat, eventually referred the investigation to Foley, who was appointed during the Trump administration and now oversees federal prosecutions in Massachusetts. <\/b><\/p>\n

I suspect that if this had been a Democrat U.S. attorney, he would have gotten a slap on the wrist. If it had been a Republican, the local DA would have prosecuted.<\/p>\n

This is not the first time Flanagan\u2019s campaign finances have come under scrutiny. <\/b><\/p>\n

During a previous race, he was fined $15,000 for creating a fake outside group, \u201cConservatives for Chris Flanagan,\u201d and for using a false identity \u2014 \u201cJeanne Louise\u201d \u2014 to solicit campaign contributions beyond legal limits. <\/b><\/p>\n

These are rookie numbers dude. You should have gotten those numbers way up into the high 6 figures or better.<\/p>\n

According to prosecutors, financial records show he began experiencing personal financial difficulties in late 2021, including significant credit card debt, missed mortgage payments, and repeated overdraft fees. <\/b><\/p>\n

So this guy is your standard Democrat? Can\u2019t even balance his checkbook? Living beyond his means? Why am I not surprised?<\/p>\n

Governor Maura Healey and several state leaders called on Flanagan to resign immediately following the charges. <\/b><\/p>\n

It looks like Flanagan outlived his usefulness and the Democrats decided he was perfect for a sacrificial lamb. Now if he had been of more value, they would have circled the wagons and manned the ramparts to protect him.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe people of Massachusetts deserve better,\u201d U.S. Attorney Foley said in her statement. <\/b><\/p>\n

No they don\u2019t. They keep voting for the Democrats. This is what happens when you have a single party state. Those in power don\u2019t think the rules apply to them.<\/p>\n

Flanagan is the second Massachusetts Democrat to face federal charges this week. On Thursday, Boston City Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson agreed to resign after pleading guilty to organizing a bribe scheme to pay off personal debts. <\/b><\/p>\n

Personally, I think this is the proverbial tip of the iceberg. I won\u2019t be at all surprised if they find even more corruptocrats in Massachusetts. I saw something about the Mayor of Boston taking money from the Chinese Communist Party. (Unverified) I guess the question now is, will the voters of Massachusetts finally figure out that the Democrats only care about themselves, their money and their power? Who am I kidding? Of course they won\u2019t. Hopefully, if this clown is convicted, he gets to spend a few years in a nice federal prison. Maybe that one in El Salvador?<\/p>\n
