Good day all. In a case of How the Mighty have Fallen, we have former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. In 2020, Cuomo was being looked at as a potential candidate for President by the Democrat Party. Today, he has a complete has been trying to make a come back by running for Mayor of New York City.<\/p>\n

Cuomo\u2019s fall began during the Great Panicdemic of 2020 when his complete incompetence could no longer be hidden. His order to nursing homes to take in recovering, but still infectious Covid patients ended up killing somewhere around 10-20K+ elderly people. Cuomo was eventually forced to resign from office, but not for his actions during the Panicdemic. It was his inability to treat women with respect.<\/p>\n
This brings us to today. Cuomo was brought up in front of a congressional oversight committee to answer some pointed questions. It seems that he may not have been as honest in his answers as was expected. Now he has been referred to the DoJ for criminal prosecution for lying to Congress. Here are the details from Newsmax<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., resent a criminal referral to the Department of Justice on Monday recommending that former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo be charged with making false statements to Congress. <\/b><\/p>\n Comer charges that Cuomo, a Democrat, “knowingly and willfully” lied to the House Select Subcommittee about his knowledge and involvement of a 2020 report regarding the COVID-19 “nursing home disaster” and “the ensuing cover-up.” <\/b><\/p>\n I recall how Cuomo tried<\/a> to hide his involvement with the report and trying to blame others, all to protect himself. The problem with his attempt was the paper trail leading right back to him.<\/p>\n Comer and Select Committee Republicans assert that Cuomo took an active role in drafting and editing the New York State Department of Health report to dodge responsibility for the thousands of lost lives during the pandemic. <\/b><\/p>\n “Andrew Cuomo is a man with a history of corruption and deceit, now caught red-handed lying to Congress during the Select Subcommittee’s investigation into the COVID-19 nursing home tragedy in New York. This wasn’t a slip-up \u2014 it was a calculated cover-up by a man seeking to shield himself from responsibility for the devastating loss of life in New York’s nursing homes,” Comer said in a Monday release. <\/b><\/p>\n If there were any real justice in the world, Cuomo wold already be serving time for what amounted to mass murder. I guess we\u2019re going to have to settle for lying to congress, provided Pam Bondi gets her thumb out.<\/p>\n Select Committee Chairman Brad Wenstrup, R-Ohio, sent a criminal referral <\/a>against Cuomo dated Oct. 30 to former Attorney General Merrick Garland asserting that Cuomo made false statements in a transcribed interview with the committee on June 11. <\/b><\/p>\n And, of course, nothing happened. It wasn\u2019t that the DoJ didn\u2019t find any potential criminal activities, they flat out didn\u2019t look. The Garland Do(I)J was to busy trying to railroad President Trump into prison and going after anyone who refused to follow the orders of their betters in the Democrat Party.<\/p>\n In his letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi dated Tuesday, Comer wrote, “To our knowledge, the Biden Administration ignored this referral despite clear facts and evidence.” <\/b><\/p>\n This is, as I mentioned above, all about New York and Cuomo\u2019s ordering nursing homes to take in recovering Covid patients. The issue was that many of these nursing homes and long term care facilities weren\u2019t set up to handle potentially infectious patients and when the told the state this, they were flat out threatened by the Cuomo regime. The facilities complied since the alternatives, as I recall was prison. When the body count took off, Cuomo and his regime decided to blame the facility operators.<\/p>\n However, when the New York Health Department report came out on July 6, 2020, it alleged that nursing home staff \u2014 not the March 25 directive \u2014 caused excess COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes. <\/b><\/p>\n That fell apart rather quickly as many of the facilities made sure to keep CYA files. When these started appearing Cuomo started ducking for cover.<\/p>\n “According to witness testimony and new documents revealed in the Select Subcommittee’s referral, Mr. Cuomo personally drafted and edited portions of this purportedly independent and peer-reviewed report,” Republicans wrote in their timeline. <\/b><\/p>\n Cuomo, however, told the committee “that he was neither involved in the drafting nor the review of the July 6 Report. Documents establish that statement to be false.” <\/b><\/p>\n Further, he told the committee that he did not know if the report was reviewed by people outside the Health Department. Republicans have documents that “again demonstrate that statement to be false.” <\/b><\/p>\n Basically, Andrew Cuomo lied through his teeth about editing that report and got caught. The only reason he even touched that report, other then reviewing it, was to cover up his actions that led to the deaths of 10\u2019s of thousands of elderly and ill people. What will, hopefully, get his ass tossed into prison was lying to congress. (He should have taken the 5th<\/sup> instead)<\/p>\n “Let’s be clear: lying to Congress is a federal crime. <\/b><\/p>\n Mr. Cuomo must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The House Oversight Committee is prepared to fully cooperate with the Justice Department’s investigation into Andrew Cuomo’s actions and ensure he’s held to account,” Comer said in Monday’s release. <\/b><\/p>\n Now we just need Pam Bondi to actually do what she was hired to do. Prosecute Democrats for their actual crimes. We might be able to charge Cuomo with mass homicide, but putting his corrupt butt in prison for a few months…or years for lying to congress will do for a start.
