Good day all. Shortly after President Trump took office, he unleashed Elon Musk and his weaponized Autistics of the Department Of Government Efficiency on the bureaucratic swamp in Washington. DOGE found a lot of interesting things, a lot of which should be handed over to the DoJ.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

Of course, the corruptocrats running many of these small agencies were not happy with DOGE showing up and in some cases tried to block them. Others were not happy with how the election went and just decided they would ignore President Trump\u2019s orders. Then there were those who may have been doing things that might not be considered entirely legal. Here are the details of one such case from the Daily Wire<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

A foreign aid official who refused the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) access to his agency\u2019s financial records may have had a reason to keep auditors out: he steered illicit contracts to a friend who sent him secret payments, according to a law enforcement affidavit obtained by The Daily Wire. <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Mathieu Zahui, chief financial officer of the African Development Foundation, refused to grant<\/a> DOGE access to its books and told the White House that the agency would not acknowledge President Donald Trump\u2019s appointee as chairman of the board. <\/b><\/p>\n

I seem to recall there were a couple of instances where bureaucrats refused to allow DOGE access. I believe USAID tried blocking access and I wrote about another agency<\/a> that actually decided to blockade themselves in the building. It didn\u2019t end well for any of these clowns.<\/p>\n

After a dramatic showdown in March, DOGE physically took over the building with U.S. Marshals, but control of the agency is now the subject of a lawsuit objecting to \u201cswooping in with DOGE staff, demanding access to sensitive information systems\u201d \u2014 an objection that reads differently in light of the criminal probe.<\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

For years, workers at the small, USAID-adjacent federal agency focused on Africa have told oversight bodies about allegations of self-dealing, procurement violations, and mysterious offshore bank accounts, many of them involving Zahui. But little was done about it, several told The Daily Wire. <\/b><\/p>\n

Well of course nothing was done. Why would anything be done? After all, some or most of that \u201caide\u201d was ending up in the bank accounts of certain \u201cVery important People\u201d in Washington.<\/p>\n

One action that raised eyebrows was Zahui\u2019s insistence on directing both grants and contracts to a company in Kenya called Ganiam Ltd. According to spending records<\/a>, it was awarded nearly $800,000 in contracts without competition. <\/b><\/p>\n

One of those contracts was apparently for $350K for travel services. There was a small problem with that. It was during the Great Panicdemic and no one was traveling anywhere. So the question is, where did the money go?<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to a search warrant application<\/a> uncovered by The Daily Wire, USAID\u2019s inspector general established by August 2024 that the company\u2019s owner had secretly wired money to Zahui\u2019s personal bank account at times that matched up with the federal contracts. <\/b>To date, the Department of Justice has not charged either man with a crime.<\/b><\/p>\n

I understand why no arrests have been made yet. There is an investigation underway and it does take time to go through all the evidence. Just because we have one apparent case of fraud, doesn\u2019t mean there are others. Forensic accounting, aka Following the money, takes time. (They\u2019re still digging through all the financial records from the Biden Crime Family)<\/p>\n

Ganiam Ltd. is owned by Maina Gakure, whom Zahui has known for decades. Both worked at the Department of Veterans Affairs in San Diego and later moved to Fairfax, Virginia. Gakure had been in charge of awarding contracts at the VA, then created his own company designed to get government construction contracts<\/a> by taking advantage of a minority preference program. <\/b><\/p>\n

This is what all those Obama and Biden judges are trying to protect. There has been 10\u2019s of billions of dollars stolen from the American taxpayers. It makes me wonder how many of them might have received some form of \u201cGratuity.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In January 2024, inspector general agents interviewed Zahui about the Ganiam contracts, and he acknowledged having known Gakure personally since 1999, and having been to his apartment. He \u201ccould not explain why the contract with Ganiam was sole-sourced instead of being competitively bid,\u201d the agents wrote. <\/b><\/p>\n

I know the reason for the no bid contract. Kickbacks.<\/p>\n

Zahui continued to give more contracts to Ganiam without competition, which he justified by saying he was \u201clazy\u201d and didn\u2019t want to find a new vendor. \u201cZahui stated that he did not receive any direct or indirect benefits from Gakure,\u201d agents wrote. <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Yeah abut that. This moron used his \u201cWork phone,\u201d which would be a government issued phone and found some very interesting things on it.<\/p>\n

\u201cAgents found text messages showing at least eight instances of wire transfers or electronic payments from Gakure to Zahui\u2019s Bank of America account, totaling over $10,000. These payments coincide with USADF\u2019s awarding of sole-source contracts to Ganiam,\u201d they wrote. <\/b><\/p>\n

At this point, it looks like things started to unravel for this clown. The Feds reviewed what they had and determined there was enough for a search warrant.<\/p>\n

On November 4, 2024, the day before the presidential election, they executed the search warrant.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m now officially surprised. Someone was actually investigating real corruption in the Biden Administration. I\u2019m curious as to how this was allowed to happen.<\/p>\n

This February, President Trump fired the African Development Foundation\u2019s board members, and its CEO, Travis Adkins, resigned. A three-person committee, including Zahui, took over the duties of CEO. <\/b><\/p>\n

I have no doubt at all that President Trump wasn\u2019t aware of the investigation otherwise he would have booted Zahui out the door as well. As for Zahui, instead of doing his best to keep a low profile, he decided to double down on stupid.<\/p>\n

On February 21, DOGE \u201cdemanded immediate access to USADF systems including financial records and payment and human resources systems,\u201d but Zahui stalled<\/a> them. On February 28, the White House emailed Zahui that Pete Marocco, the Trump operative tasked with dismantling USAID, had become acting chairman of the African Development Foundation. Zahui told the White House that agency staff would not honor the appointment because Marocco had not been confirmed by the Senate. <\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This is the typical arrogant attitude of most of the Washington Deep State bureaucrats. For every one who is honest, hard working, competent and trying to serve the nation and the people, you have a hundred who see themselves and the ones in charge.<\/p>\n

When DOGE returned, staff locked the doors and refused to let them in, creating a dramatic showdown, according to a lawsuit<\/a> filed against DOGE by the now-fired board. DOGE eventually gained access to the building using U.S. Marshals, and put the staff on leave. <\/b><\/p>\n

Frankly, they should have been summarily terminated for cause.<\/p>\n

In an interview with The Daily Wire at his home, Zahui said DOGE changed the locks, but that they didn\u2019t know about a back door, and he had gained access since the takeover. <\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

That sounds like he was trying to hide the evidence of his actions. When you are suspended like this, you are not allowed back into a location without permission. It\u2019s called Trespassing. If he was also rifling the files, you might also add tampering with evidence.<\/p>\n

In November 2023, Sen. James Risch (R-Idaho), then the top Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations committee, asked the USAID inspector general, which has oversight of the African Development Foundation, to open an \u201cimmediate investigation\u201d into what he said was a slew of whistleblower complaints about financial irregularities at the agency. <\/b><\/p>\n

I am guessing that this is when the Congress may have found out there was a problem. I do find it interesting that we didn\u2019t see the Democrats doing anything about this and that it was the Republicans who started initiating things. Of course, with the Democrats in charge of the Senate, little to nothing would get done. (Must protect their revenue streams after all)<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Mateo Dunne, the agency\u2019s former general counsel, told The Daily Wire that he provided the USAID inspector general with extensive documentation of violations of procurement, personnel, and ethics regulations by African Development Foundation officials beginning in 2021, but that even clear-cut violations didn\u2019t appear to be acted upon. <\/b><\/p>\n

Gee, I wonder why? Who was the President at that time? Don\u2019t tell me, it will come to me.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Sen. Risch warned USAID\u2019s inspector general in the 2023 letter that if it didn\u2019t urgently reform the African Development Foundation, Americans might lose trust in USAID and foreign funding as a whole. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cDevelopment assistance plays an important role in U.S. foreign policy. Turning a blind eye to alleged fraud, corruption, and mismanagement in any single development agency or program would undermine the credibility of U.S. development assistance across the board,\u201d he wrote. <\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Well, the good news is that we have a new team in office and they aren\u2019t fooling around. Granted, Pam Bondi is questionable, but it\u2019s also possible that she isn\u2019t aware of this case. She does seem to take action once she find out about things. The Epstein Files are a case in point. Originally, she thought she was releasing all the files. She found out that the FBI office in New York deliberately hid the files she wanted, leading to several FBI managers being shown the door.<\/p>\n

I think we might have another case here where she wasn\u2019t aware of the investigation. I have a suspicion that FBI Director Patel and Assistant Director Bongino may not have been aware of it either. Without question, President Trump wouldn\u2019t have known about this. Now they do. I think we are close to the time when indictments should start being handed down.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

One net positive is that putting some of these self important corrupt bureaucrats in jail will shut down some of these Obama and Biden judges. As much as they would hate the idea, showing that DOGE uncovered criminal activities is going to blow holes in the Democrat\u2019s plans to block President Trump from Making American Great Again.<\/p>\n
