I and many others have wondered why George Soros hasn\u2019t been investigated for his role, if any, in what amounts to a leftist insurrection. Now a member of congress is asking the same question. Here are the details from LifeZette<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) is calling on<\/a> Congress to take action that, according to her, is long overdue: issuing a subpoena to billionaire financier George Soros. <\/b><\/p>\n In a direct post on X, Luna posed the question, \u201cWhy has Congress never subpoenaed George Soros before?\u201d and added, \u201cWhy am I the first one to bring this up? This should have been done a long time ago.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n I can hazard a guess of course. First, the Democrats are both bought and paid for by Soros and they agree with what he wants to do. Second, the Republicans couldn\u2019t be bothered until now since it generally didn\u2019t concern them directly. Getting the attention of congress was next to impossible, until now.<\/p>\n The post comes amid increasing scrutiny of Soros\u2019s financial and political influence, both domestically and internationally. <\/b><\/p>\n Soros has actually toppled governments in Europe and continues to attempt to do so. He supports the Brussels Bureaucrats who are literally ending democracy and free speech in the EU. Honestly, I\u2019m surprised that a foreign intelligence service hasn\u2019t just thrown him out a 16 story window.<\/p>\n Soros, founder of the Open Society Foundations, has spent billions funding non-governmental organizations, activist movements, and political causes around the world. In the United States, he is known for backing progressive prosecutors, promoting open-border immigration policies, and supporting far-left political candidates. <\/b><\/p>\n Soros has also backed the \u201cDefund the police\u201d movement and paid for NGO\u2019s to use the courts to get what they want. I seem to recall, and I may be in error, that one of the DOGE audits found that taxpayer funds were being funneled to Soro\u2019s foundation.<\/p>\n The question from Luna follows news that Republicans on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, including Chairman James Comer (R-KY) and Rep. Nick Langworthy (R-NY), have launched an investigation into Soros\u2019s attempted acquisition of more than 220 radio stations. <\/b><\/p>\n Attempt? I thought that was a done deal? Didn\u2019t the Biden Maladministration approve everything before they were unceremoniously shown the door?<\/p>\n The Committee is investigating whether the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) took any steps to fast-track the approval process for the acquisition in a way that may have benefited Soros. <\/b><\/p>\n Personally, I think then answer to that question is \u201cOf course they did!\u201d<\/p>\n The FCC has agreed to provide relevant documentation to the committee, and a vote by the full commission is reportedly underway. <\/b><\/p>\n What a pity for Soros that the Democrats lost the last election. If that retired prostitute, Kamala Harris had somehow managed to win, you can bet that nothing would be sent to Congress. If the Democrats had taken both houses of Congress, then the questions wouldn\u2019t even be asked.<\/p>\n Luna\u2019s comments on X appear to have resonated with many users, including independent researcher @MJTruthUltra, who replied: \u201cIf George Soros is such a threat to America, why can\u2019t the US government strip him of citizenship, exile him, or at the very least\u2026 banish his organizations from the US?\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n Sadly, doing so would take years, and while they can and probably nail his companies and foundations, by the time they get George Soros himself, he\u2019ll probably have finally rotted away and croaked. He is 94 years old after all and has turned his evil empire over to his son Alex.<\/p>\n The user also suggested the United States could explore financial sanctions under authorities such as the Global Magnitsky Act or Executive Order 13818, both of which allow the Treasury Department\u2019s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to freeze assets and prohibit transactions for individuals deemed to be national security threats or engaged in human rights abuses. <\/b><\/p>\n Hmm, now that is an interesting idea. There is no question, at least in my mind, that Soros and his organization is a threat to national security. I know that he is a major reason for the border being thrown open under Dementia Joe Biden. Am I the only one to wonder how all those millions of illegals had the money to pay the cartels to smuggle them into the United States, not to mention just getting to Mexico?<\/p>\n His financial support has played a central role in the elections of district attorneys in major cities such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia. <\/b><\/p>\n Ahn yes, how could I have forgotten the infamous \u201cSoros DA\u2019s?\u201d They have done a massive amount of damage to cities and in some cases states where they managed to get elected. The good news is that most of them have already been thrown out of office.<\/p>\n Despite this influence, Soros has not been subpoenaed by Congress, and no formal investigation has ever been conducted into the full scope of his domestic political activity. <\/b><\/p>\n Well why the Hell not? Who has he paid off? I know damn well Trump isn\u2019t a fan and I suspect that FBI director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino aren\u2019t either. I know that previous AG\u2019s and FBI directors were not interested in going after Soros since they were either owned by him or supported his goals.<\/p>\n The growing push from Luna and others for further accountability measures is expected to remain a topic of discussion as the FCC completes its review of the Audacy deal and the Oversight Committee continues its inquiry. <\/b><\/p>\n I\u2019m not holding my breath on that committee actually doing anything but bloviating and issuing press releases.<\/p>\n I think it is time for Attorney General Bondi to get with Director Patel and one or more U.S. attorneys and start a dedicated anal probe of the Soros empire and his actions to undermine the sovereignty of the United States. While I would love to see him stripped of his citizenship, (He is a naturalized citizen), as I mentioned before, that is a time consuming process and he\u2019s probably die before it\u2019s completed. (Better to go after Ilhan Omar.
